I was impressed with the professionalism and service of the 3-4 men that came on the job that day. They clearly wanted to satisfy me and do a good job. The work was probably a bit outside of their skills, or at least what was communicated to them, since hydrangeas are to be pruned differently than a regular bush. In addition, it was difficult for them to maneuver the trimming the overhead trellis. In the future, I would hire Schwartz again but perhaps more for typical lawn and landscaping work.

They did a nice job and were easy to work with. The price was great as well for the additional work they provided.

The workers were punctual and friendly. Did what they said they were going to do, in the timeframe promised. The crew leader, Salvador, was very professional and courteous.

The workers did an excellent job on our back yard. The plants were also healthy. I appreciated the help the staff offered in helping me select plants and scheduling the work. We will work with them again as the need arises.

Brandon was in contact with me to set up the date and time; answered all my questions and the guys arrived on the day and on time as promised. Took out dead bushed, and a live over grown one as well as cleaned up several flower beds and put in edging. Great to work with and nice job.

They arrived at 10:45 and worked until 2:45. I had requested that just 2 men to come and work for three hours. They did have a third man with them, but he just seemed to be a helper, and didn't do much work. I also had loan them my wheel barrow, because they did not bring one of their own.The work they did was alright, but I was out there supervising the whole time.

Brandon was very flexible when asked to come out much later than originally planned. He was responsive to request and did a very nice job.

They did a great job! We weren’t sure when the prepaid services ran out and my husband called them to inquire. However, they never got back with us. They did do a good job with the work that was completed.

Task was reviewed and then as homeowner I went inside. Men worked over the time of the deal but didn't come in and notify me and then wanted to charge for the 'extra' time. I would have had them stop when the clock ran out on the deal. Tore out bushes and good plants, not just the weeds which was what was requested. Also many weeds just 'cut off' rather than pulled out at the roots. That wasn't going to help. I was not happy I bought this deal.

The providers came when they said they would, worked efficiently, and the result was that our lawn looks the best it has in many years. We were very happy with the services provided.

Company arrived on time. The man that was in charge informed me that the workers did not speak English, so it would do no good to talk to them if I had to, and that he would be leaving for awhile. Then he told me that the job would probably cost more than the $99 because he had to charge more for my neighbor down the street, as they were not able to finish for that amount in their yard. I told him that I had raked most of the leaves, and I expected them to be finished in the agreed upon time. He shrugged his shoulders and left. There were three guys with blowers doing the work. One spent some time on my deck, which had just a few leaves on it. I asked him to please just work in the yard. He seemed to understand that, and did so. I felt as though I needed to keep an eye on them, given the bosses comment that they could never finish in the time allotted. They did a good job getting all the leaves to the curb, and then they sat down on my lawn to wait for their boss. They finished 45 minutes early. I would have had other things they could have done in that left over time, but given the lack of English, I decided not to bother. The boss came back, they got the leaves in the truck and left. I didn't like the attitude of the boss with the bait and switch deal, and I didn't like that the boss left given he was the only one who presumably spoke English. I won't use them again, because of these two issues. I thought it was uncalled for.

Brandon was extremely professional throughout the scheduling process. They were able to get out as quickly as we needed them to. They also did a thorough job with the aerration and overseeding. There was no "mess" left behind on sidewalk or concrete.We would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We had a Big Deal coupon and the owner called back and set up appointment time immediately. We were very happy with the results. Our lawn had take a lot of damage in prior years from moles. We could definitely tell a difference in the quality of the grass and weed control this year.

The crew failed to aerate the lawn between the sidewalk and the street. In the rear corner of my yard, the grass died this summer. When scheduling the work on the phone, I asked them to aerate this section of the yard a couple of times as I planned on over-seeding. I was not home when the work was done, but my wife was. When completed, she asked the crew if they aerated the corner of the yard multiple times. A member of the crew told her they did. The day before the crew arrived, I raked this section of the yard and the ground was pretty bare. With the ground bare, it was easy to see that they went over this section of the yard only once and the crew did not tell my wife the truth.

They did a good job. They were supposed to be here on Wednesday, but actually performed the service on Thursday. However, that was not a really big issue.

They were fine. Excellent company. Very knowledgeable. I have used them multiple times in the past. I would use the again. The communicate very well, they let you know when they are going to show up and they are on time.

Salvador and his guys arrived right on time. Totally cool. (The last three companies I've worked with have been at least an hour delayed or even postponed a day.) Salvador met with me to assess the project, walked me through expectations and even gave me an estimate on hauling away the debris. The Deal didn't cover hauling, which I knew going in, but I wasn't certain how much debris there was going to be. He was very helpful in helping me - the pile was huge!!! So glad they could take it instead of me dealing with it. The biggest benefit was when they identified a patch of poison ivy near our firewood. My kids and my wife are very allergic to the stuff and we didn't even know it was there as it was buried under the weeds. Thanks Angie's List. Another Home Run. Thanks Schwartz Bros. I bought the Big Deal. Scheduling was easy, as I was contacted by the company and set up the appointment over email. The team arrived promptly. They were very polite. They quickly completed the work I requested and made suggestions for other things they could do. The yard looks great. I am very pleased.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went pretty well. They came out 3 times and did 3 different kinds of weed control fertilizer for different types of weeds at each application. One application was for broadleaf and was supposed to control dandelions. I still felt there were quite a few dandelions coming up in the yard. I called and he came back and said he would do another application. I wasn't there when he came but I did notice a difference in the dandelions.

Everything was as ordered. They came out 3 times throughout spring and summer without any need for a reminder and did what they said they would do. We are happy.

Punctual and fast and polite. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone who asked. Very good price for the work done.

Brandon Schwartz has been terrific. We bought our home in late May and we have needed extra landscaping work on a couple of occasions and he and his staff have been responsive and helpful with every request.

They were prompt in calling back to set up appointment at which I ask the provider if the had a program of over seeding, starter fertilizer and aeration at which the responded with a program that fit the my needs. They are scheduled to do the work September 19, Thursday. Thank you!

Was supposed to overseed lawn--no service done. Was outside of service area. Would have been nice to know before buying Big Deal.
