Description of Work: Mallory Van and Storage provided 3 movers and a truck. They were quite punctual in fact 25 minutes early. The men were very nice. I can not say enough about them. They were respectful, considerate of what I said and wanted. This is very important being a female. They placed every thing to my specification. The moved took more than the 3 hours time period. Yes I did pay for each extra hour which was an additional 3 hours. It was worth every penny. Two of the guys were exceptional. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I would definitely use them again. Thank you for bringing this company to my attention.

+ -1 moreOverall, things went very well. As indicated above, a bit unhappy about the roughness with some furniture and possessions on the loading end. The other load on the truck evidently was from a smoking household, so a downside was that all of our furniture and possessions absorbed the smell. We have used a lot of Febreze, laundry sheets, and airing out to get the smell out of our possessions as well as laundering all of our clothing. This was something that was unanticipated, but I'm not sure we could control. Moving-in went very well in Aurora. They set furniture up where we asked them to and were very accommodating, professional, and efficient. We have a few marks on some furniture and had a few broken items so far as we unpacked. Some glasses, a Corelle tea kettle, etc. We packed our own stuff, so that is on us. In the Kirksville area, with a AAA discount, Atlas (Mallory) was the lowest price and provided $75,000 in full replacement value coverage. I found Steve and Richard (co-owners) at Mallory easy to work with in the estimating and scheduling process. They provided at no cost some used boxes for oversized pictures that we had. If I used movers again, I would ask about what steps they take to protect our belongings against smells, such as cigarette smoke.
Description of Work: An affiliate of Atlas Van Lines, Mallory Moving and Storage assisted with an estimate for moving and provided local packers for our move of a 4-bedroom, 3-bath house (approximately 3,300 square feet). They utilized a contractor from Atlas to move our household belongings from Kirksville, MO to Aurora, CO. Their warehouse manager who packed many of our mattresses, glass shelves, big screen tv, etc. was great! She left midday. The other two workers were less than professional, rough with our possessions on our Kirksville home. The driver, Todd, was excellent and is based out of Carbondale, Illinois. Our load was a tight fit, but Todd got everything on the truck so it made it in one trip (a couple of mattresses and patio furniture tied to the back end of the truck). Todd kept to the schedule, was courteous, efficient, thorough, and considerate with our possessions. We loaded on Tuesday and unloaded promptly on a Friday morning in Aurora. A local Atlas affiliate in the Denver area helped Todd with unloading in Aurora. They were extremely professional and things went very smoothly.
