They did really good work and were always on time and very responsive. When there was an issue Brian took care of it immediately and it was corrected. However I had to discontinue the service because one of their employees stole some pain medication from me. I have waited to write this review because I didn't want to do it in anger. But I do want to warn others. Brian was again very responsive and apologetic but ......

The two women came with all their own equipment. They were professional and went to work right away. I was more than pleased with the entire experience.

This particular group is very reliable. They would show up in Ice storms and all. They're very friendly, very trustworthy and you always get a lot of followup. We've been using them for about 7 years. Brian is the owner of the franchise. They always make sure that we're happy with everything and it's been about a year since we've used them. We paid $140 every 2 weeks. They come to do general cleaning: vacuuming, dusting and the bathrooms. They provide a schedule to us so that shows us what they will focus on each week. We have a large house so they have a lot of ground to cover.

Great service from The Cleaning Authority, came to my house to estimate what a 2-part deep cleaning would run as well as ongoing cleaning after that. Was prompt and returned calls in a timely way. Was happy with estimate and did deep cleaning. Was very happy with the results, crew was very thorough and did a great job.

I had never had anyone clean my home before but due to health issues I have not been able to do it. I contacted The Cleaning Authority and Brian came out to make the estimate. He is the owner and was very nice. This was the first to two detail cleans then the regular cleans can maintain my home. I was very impressed with the ladies and how well they cleaned my home. It made me feel so much better to have my house clean like I haven't been able to do it. They did such a great job. If you are considering having someone clean your house, you really should consider this company. They are completely green and use only green chemicals. That was a pleasant surprise but even more it is wonderful to have your house so clean and fresh when you aren't able to do it. What a blessing they are.

The manager did not display responsiveness to my husband's communications

The owner Brian came out for an estimate and was very thorough, clear, and helpful. Everything was explained to me ahead of time so I knew what would be done, when, and how much the first fee would be. The team came out with everything they needed to clean from top to bottom. I had not cleaned my living space in a while, so I really needed a thorough cleaning. I left when the team was just starting. I returned home later, after they had finished their work, and everything was neat, clean, orderly, fresh, and professional looking (with "star lines" from having cleaned the couch, the recliner, and the carpet). It was great to come home to a clean environment. I am planning to have TCA come once a month for ongoing cleaning since at this time in my life, I just don't have time or energy to do this myself. It's great to have Angie's list and the great quality of providers available just around the corner!

Today was my first clean with The Cleaning Authority. The team was very puctual and wasted no time getting busy. They did a fantastic job!!! My home looks brand new again. So glad that I've hired them.

They have great crews. Very happy with them. They clean my home every other week. I 've been using them about 4 years. They are very consistent and professional! Very happy! Recommend completely! ;)

Phone calls between client and company were handled courteously and timely. Arrival was timely. cleaning was thorough and persons rendering cleaning services were friendly but unobtrusive. Expectations were declared before cleaning began and all expectations were met.

A representative came after the first call to give me an estimate on the services I wanted. A prices was agreed upon. The cleaning crews have been coming weekly to clean. At first someone would follow to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. The company owner also called to make sure I was happy with their work. I have been extremely satisfied and will continue to use them.

We hired The Cleaning Authority and they have been cleaning for us for approximately 3 months. Each time a new cleaning crew is dispatched and so we never know which "team" we are going to get. We had to have them come back out to our home because they completely skipped the kitchen. I will admit the team of supervisors that came back out went above and beyond and did a fabulous job. I wish they always came to clean the house. Approximately 2 weeks later the crew that forgot the kitchen Team #8 came back out and left a note that they could not complete some of the work due to papers being around and dog on bed. Notified by manager that the crew TOOK PICTURES of my home and that I would need to prep it better for them to clean. I felt very violated by this. It was a breach of confidentiality. I have spoken to the owner about the reasons we are leaving and he has assured me that this will not happen to others. I am glad that maybe my experience will help future clients with privacy. Also, after using them for over 3 months they contacted me and said that they had underbid our home and wanted to increase our fees. I had had ENOUGH with this company and cancelled. On a side note I referred my mother to them to have cleaning done. She is not a member of Angie's List but her experience is WORSE than mine. It seems like each time they came they broke something. First it was the blinds. Then it was a misc. knick knack. She finally FIRED them on 12/27/2012. She called me in tears. She said they they were careless again and broke a wedding gift that my grandmother had given her 48 years ago. Her ceramic canisters. (These canisters have been moved at least 10 times and never had a knick or scratch in them.) Even tho they did not match anything in her kitchen, they had sentimental value that was priceless. She came in to her home and found the broken canister on her kitchen island. It was devastating. The company said "accidents happen" and did NOTHING. No compensation was offered to have them fixed. NOTHING. That is Awful! Stay away from these people!!!! Angie's List...you need to remove from your list.

Very pleased. DId have concern with floors but a conversation with three owner and subsequent spot check resolved the issue. Have since referred a friend and are now waiting to receive a referral bonus.

The service has been fine. They are doing a fine job.

Actually The Cleaning Authority--Lee's Summit has cleaned my house every two weeks for over a year now. I am very pleased with the quality of their work; in addition, however, the ladies who do the work are some of the nicest and most hardworking people you will ever meet. I've had a few concerns with scheduling, too, and Brian in the office responds as fast as anyone can expect. I can sincerely recommend this company." Angie's List just telephoned me and asked me to update my review. The Cleaning Authority has continued to clean my house during the past year. My opinion of them has not changed. Everything I said last year still applies including my sincere recommendation.

The work is awesome! They are very good at accommodating special requests. There have been a couple extra times that we have needed extra services. They have gone above and beyond at meeting our needs to clean our home unexpectedly. I used to work from home when they would perform the housecleaning. They did everything they could to keep the noise at a minimum and not bother me.

They were okay. I have been using their services for two years.

I used the Cleaning Authority for about 9 months. They tell you that you have to pay so much more for a deep cleaning the first time, after that only 2 rooms at a time would be deep cleaned every other week. They were scheduled by-weekly at my house. The problem I had was when it was time to "deep clean" a room, it was not done. I had to call several times and have supervisors come out and re-clean. This happed 3 times and I finally had enough. Would not hire them again.

Their pricing was reasonable. They did a nice job. They did everything that I wanted them to do and they did a very good job doing it. I would use their services again.

I hired them about 2 months ago to do general housecleaning for me every other week. There have been a few hiccups, mostly minor items getting missed, such as cleaning the top of the refrigerator. Nevertheless I'm very impressed with them, mainly because of the attitude and responsiveness of the owners. They seem to really care and try to stay on top of things. If I have an issue, I can contact them -- by email or in their online survey -- and they'll see that it gets taken care of, then follow up with me to make sure everything is OK. This kind of follow-through is so rare nowadays! I also like their rotational cleaning system. They don't try to do everything every time they come. They have a list of things they do every visit, and then other lists of things they do on alternate visits. They start with two initial "deep cleans," then go to the regular rotational system. This makes a lot of sense, since not everything has to be done every time. This would be more economical all around. I had my air conditioning system checked this past weekend, and the guy told me I need to change my air filters only every other time. Reason: My house is clean!

They usually don't work on the weekends but since we had some constraints, two of the ladies volunteered to work on the Saturday for us.I believe it took them about 4 hours.I would definitely use them again.

It was very well done. They were efficient and quick.

The two girls who clean every week are the sweetest and best! They actually will talk and interact with you and they are fun and bubbly, and I wouldn't trade them for another team. I also found a window cleaning company through them and it was a great experience.
