Great experience! The crew was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. It only took them about twenty minutes. They were very communicative about the whole process from the initial quote call, to booking, to calling the day-of, performing the work, payment and departure. A lot of haulers I called would only give a very large price range over the phone, but Junk King was much more specific, which helped me make the decision to use them.

Provider did a fine job. Cleaned up after. The guys were professional and courteous. I did have difficulty understanding their pricing structure but still feel like I got my money's worth.

NO SHOW! Called and talked with Mike Stroud on Tuesday and went into much detail about my hauling needs. We set an appointment up for Saturday between 10 am and noon for him to provide an estimate. He said he would send me an email confirming. After not receiving an email by Thursday, I called him again to be sure he had the correct email. He said he remembered talking with me and still on for Saturday. I asked him to confirm my email address but he didn't have a pen! Promised he would call me back later from his caller ID. Never heard back from him. I waited around Saturday for 2 hours in hopes he would show up, but never did. Definitely not an Angie's List type provider! Very disappointing.

It went well. They were a little later than scheduled but they kept me informed. That is the nature of the service since there always seems to be additional items to dispose of. With the coupon, it was not much more than it would have cost to haul everything to the dump myself and I did not have to carry things up the hill from my walk out basement.

Fine. We had everything stacked and ready to haul although that was not required.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. We used less than half a truckload so it all worked out fine. They also had a coupon for 15% off if we had needed more. We had about 200 cubic feet. Their normally price was $258 so it was a big savings. It worked out very well. They did a fine job. They called a couple of times because there was a problem and they did not get here until 2 hours after they were originally supposed to be here. Their truck got stuck in the mud at the dump. They called a total of 3 times to explain what was going on. They did a fine job. We had 4 major appliances and a large television set that were removed. According to their website,they try to recycle and help other charities. The televisions set worked and they were going to give it away. They are a green organization which is nice that not everything is going in the dump.

This is the second time we have used Junk King. We highly recommend them. Were scheduled to be at our house between 10 and 12, but called to ask if they could come early. The guys were very nice and very professional. Loaded up our unwanted "junk" and gave us a 15% discount on the service. We will continue to use Junk King whenever we need this type of service.

They were an excellent company. Did what they said they would do and did it at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them!!

they were fast and did take a lot but we could had them to take alot more , we had a big tv and got it out fast. what I did not like was when they told us we had to pay additional for each computers monitors that was 10 dollars for each one .We brought the $69 for a half a ton truck it was not everything we needed them to pickup, if you needed more things picked up they would have done it, but it could be really expensive. We had to guy and was in and out in no time, we could have not done it ourself so it was worth it.

Really good. They called an hour before to say they were on the way and were on time. Both guys were very polite, efficient, and professional. They were organized, in and out quickly. Did not charge me anything above the coupon I purchased. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends. Also, they gave me an itemized receipt and coupons for future use. NIce to know there are companies and people out there who still believe in good customer service!

We were moving, and someone was supposed to take our king size bed. They decided they didn't want it (at the last minute), so I made an emergency call to Junk King to see if they could pick it up the next day. They arrived as scheduled the next day, on time, were extremely professional, and fast. I would use them again in a second!

They were professional, prompt and reasonably priced. They cleaned up the driveway after removing everything and gave me every discount they could. They even gave me homemade cookies after the truck was loaded. I would definitely recommend them.

Junk King of Kansas City were wonderful, absolutely wonderful. They measured everything and it came in at $20 below the value of the coupon - I don't know how they did that - but they were so good I told them to keep it! I gave each of the guys individually a little tip because they did such a nice job for us. My basement was a wreck, and they got everything I wanted rid of out. I'm glad I didn't have to go down there! The service was very professional and very friendly. They went out of their way - they even told me not to pack everything up in the middle. They were fine to go round with me and pick up the things that I wanted gone. I told them this was the first run. I have been wanting to finish off my basement for years but all the stuff that we brought down from Maryland that I didn't need has stopped me.

I used the big deal and they did a really good job. They cleaned up after themselves and I didn't even know they were there. They were very courteous. They had an appointment earlier that day but they called to say they weren't going to make it. They rescheduled and showed up on time. They were very courteous about it, very apologetic and came through in the end. They did reschedule and also let me know that they weren't coming on time instead of not showing. We just don't know what they do and we never know how much junk they are going to get picked. I just think the pickup they had before me was way more than I thought.

Everything from setting appointment, picking up of items, to cleanup went very well. Workers very polite & quick.

I am pleased with the service provided by these pleasant and respectful young men. Junk King was a good value for my money.

All three gentlemen that came to the house were very kind and professional. My appointment had been scheduled for 1pm, but they called around 10:30 that morning and asked if they could come earlier. That worked for me, so they arrived within 30 minutes of calling. They were very efficient. Great team work!

Arrived in time, professional courteous. Did exactly as seniors were described & did have to carry to move any items they took things from all 3 levels, even left me cookies.

It was good but the only problem I had was communication. It could have been my fault but I was expecting them a different day but when I called them they were able to schedule me a couple of days later. They were on time, checked in and everything went fine. They were willing to help me move something else but they could easily have said no. I thought their price was very fair.

These guys were great. Very friendly, and did more than expected. These guys were fast too, never slowed down until they were finished. Took less than an hour to load a third of their truck (that's all I needed).

Overall the experience was frustrating. Upon purchasing the deal from Angie's List, I received an email stating that Junk King would email me within 2 business days to schedule an appointment. 9 days passed without hearing from Junk King. Angie's List then emailed me to confirm that I had made my appointment with Junk King. When I responded that I had not heard from them, Angie's List contacted Junk King and told them to schedule the appointment. Soon after, Junk King's general manager emailed me and told me that I was confused and that it was my responsibility to contact them. I made my appointment and they told me I would be the first pickup of the day. On the day of the appointment, the truck showed up around 3 hours late. About 45 minutes after my appointment time, I called Junk King. They told me the truck coming to my house had one other stop to make before my appointment - even though they had initially said I was the first appointment of the day. Then the truck drivers could not find my house. They went to the wrong address, delaying them even more. One thing I would like to mention is the fact that the guys in the truck who actually did the trash removal were very hard working and did a great job. My complaints are about the slow response time in setting an appointment with me, the general manager's attitude about their slow response time, and the truck showing up 3 hours late.
