Gunter Pest Management

We had a termite infestation years ago when we first bought the property. We've used the same company every since. They do an annual inspection. The termite treatment is supposed to be for a long period of time. They have not had to repeat the treatment for maybe 5 or 10 years. It's a long-lasting product that does not need to be repeated. They do the annual inspection to confirm that there is no re-infestation.

The termite system installer arrived about an hour late. I called after the four hour window had expired and was told that he was held up in traffic. One the gentleman got here, he quickly installed the Sentricon System quickly. He explained everything thoroughly.

David was very knowledgeable and honest.

It was fine - the inspector showed me old termite tunnels and explained how to break them up. He explained what would look different with active termites. He showed where they had previously treated termites on the property.

There was an mistake on their end. The owner went on his end to try to make good with me. Customer service on my stand point. They do quarterly follow ups. They don't see me on those. I am not sure if they have been to the house. I don't remember the price, but I got a deal. The only reason I gave a B overall, is the issue on their end. Even though the owner did try to make up for it. The tech wasn't very, he went there and did the job. I was expecting more of coaching things to do around the house. To prevent intrusion of bugs. He was friendly enough, but not outgoing, and didn't provide much technical since. I kind of expect that with an exterminator.

I use Gunter Pest Management and they're really good. They were here a couple of years ago in March of 2015. It cost like $75, something like that. I'm a repeat customer with them. They are perfect to deal with when they come out to do the work.

I like them. They've been very good. They're very knowledgeable. I like them a lot. The guy who came to do the treatment had many years of experience, and he his brothers used to have a different company and they got of kind of acquired somehow by Gunter. But there were three of them who are extremely knowledgeable. This guy told me more about termites than I would ever have just guessed it. I don't really know how to compare the price. I'd give it a B just because I'm not that familiar with competitors' pricing.

It went great. Did everything I needed and explained my yearly plan that I signed up for.

I like them because they come and check your basement out just to make sure every year that there are no termites. I like to go down in the basement along with them using the flash light to see if they see anything.

I think the package received for the price paid was very fair. Everything on the exterior was visibly treated (spider webs along house). We did not have a huge bug problem on the interior before the treatment, so it's hard to say whether there have been noticeable benefits. The only problem we have had in the few weeks since the visit is some ants in the kitchen. Other than that I have not noticed any bugs in the house. Spider webs have started to build up along the exterior again, but they are bugs after all so it's somewhat expected. Other than that, their responsiveness could be a little better. In email conversations with them, I never received verification of the date I suggested they come. It wasn't until a few emails later and the day of the appointment that I finally received a confirmation that they would be coming that day.

The service tech came out in a couple days time for the first visit and did extensive interior and exterior treatment. The tech was very personable, incredibly knowledgeable and was a breeze to work with. After several weeks we started seeing some cockroaches again and called Gunter and they scheduled a time for the tech to visit again free of charge (per the annual agreement). Second visit was a few days later and they sprayed again. We still see a few roaches every now and then, but it is much better now.

They arrived on schedule, sprayed and were professional. We were mosquito free for several weeks after.

The service was okay. He was not there very long. I would say their price is average. Their punctuality was fine. They called when they would be here. I had to ask him to do a couple of things that is included in the package by doing the attic. I had to make sure that he did all the things that he had to do. He left the area fine.

I called Gunter to rid my house of spiders (in basement) as I was having out of town visitors after my brother -in -law died 3 days ago. I was very pleased when they said they could get me in when I called yesterday. They gave me the timeframe from 8 to 11:00. After 11:00 , no one showing up, I called. I was told the receptionist that the service man had a broken car. I told the receptionist as I was home all day ( I had gotten ok to work at home) I could wait and did not have a problem if was later. At 4:45 as no one showed up (I never left the house) I called and the person said , again, that the exterminator's car had broken down. Shortly thereafter I got a call from the service man telling me he had come by and rang my door bell ..which I don't have and he reported that no one was home. I told him that earlier I had given my address in the system as "east” rather than "west" and the phone person assured me it had been corrected. Because I was home all day apparently he went to the wrong address, and didn't even bother to call my cell to make sure he had the right address etc. I was VERY disappointed and mad and although the gentlemen was apologetic, it was evident that at no time he had he even attempted to call me or check in with the Gunter office to make sure there was not some easy remedy to get the right address. When I asked to be put in touch with a supervisor, I got another apology but no effort on this person's part to put me in touch. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! F rating

I bought their annual plan through Angie's List. They have have been prompt and professional. I would use their services again when my contract is up.

They were friendly, showed up when they said they would, and their work appears to be top notch

It went fine. They came out and did the service for us and we were happy with the service. One thing that seemed a little odd was, we didn't get a notification that they were going to come out. So I was expecting that and we didn't see that. So they came out and it was kind of a surprise when he got here. I mentioned that to him and he said, "Oh it's not the first time that happened." So I don't think that they have a very good mechanism for informing customers who have purchased something through Angie's List. So whatever that mechanism is, it didn't seem to work very well. But I was happy with the service otherwise and I'm going to continue using them. There was no extra charge. Communication is really something that they need to improve on. They came out just a couple of days after we did the purchase.

Great annual package for continual pest control service. They called the day before our quarterly scheduled maintenance and showed up the next day, did the service and left a summary sheet.

Gunter Pest Management were top notch!!! Sprayed and fogged for spiders. Gunter Pest was the only company to find a solution and help reduced/eliminated our spider problem. Gunter Pest was the only pest company that advocated for fogging. Thank you Gunter Pest Management.

They were great, came in and did an initial spray. They were very courteous and professional. Any time that I had an issues (especially with all the rain we had this year) they came out to the house within a few days and sprayed again or did an exterior treatment. I would definitely hire this company again.

Pests were not eliminated and service seemed spotty. They sprayed and spread material outside, but only took 5 minutes to do, so not real sure of the effectiveness.
