Prompt. Met with us for about an hour to talk about what we were interested in and what would work in our setting - taking sun, slope, location into consideration. Gave us a landscape design and bid on the work, breaking it down by planting area, sidewalk work, retaining wall, etc. We have not yet decided what part of the work we will do.

The results are stunning. Dan and Glenn came over and really listened to what we wanted. We view the area from both our deck and a room off the patio. As Glenn was walking around you could feel the creative wheels turning. He made sure the view was great from both directions. We were given three options with three price points and we are so glad we decided on the much larger pond with a waterfall and lighting. I am amazed at how quickly they worked and this laborious project was completed in just two days. There were huge tree roots that had to be removed and they had to work around some rocks. The first day they removed the old pond and plants, dug a huge hole by hand as there is no way to get any equipment into this spot, put the liner in place, the waterfall in place an overflow area set up, and got much of the rock in place. The second day they meticulously placed the rest of the rock so it is very stable to walk on anywhere, filled the pond, installed the lights, replaced the path that was there, and all the details that really cleaned it up and make it look great. They made shelves around the edges for plants, to either actually plant our water plants or add them in pots and it is perfect. The shelves are arranged for any larger plants to be at the ends and are bigger than I would have thought. Perfect. As gardeners, we will keep adding and rearranging indefinitely and have the space to do just that. We had no idea what a difference the lighting would make. It's difficult to tear ourselves away at night from watching the fish play. Who knew they were so active at night? There are several frogs now living close by and they, too, are fun to watch. This area that was so underused and boring is now the stunning focal point of our summer living room.

Dan took plenty of time to design the plan and ask a lot of questions. He didn't just listen to what I said, he paid attention and did what I wanted. He also gave great specific advice on what to plant and where. He did not try to increase my cost when I thought maybe a plant should be replaced, but said it could be moved or improved where it was at a cheaper cost to me. I also was concerned about a spot that looked empty. There was an existing plant there, but it was small. Dan said it would get bigger since it would not be so crowed anymore, but in the mean time he found a solution with a decorative rock that I had somewhere else. I never would have thought of that, but it looked perfect. When his team did the work, they were there on time and they took time to do it right. One of the new shrubs was smaller than I had expected and they immediately went and got one that was a little bigger instead. They took great care to make sure everything was done right and looked great!. They were great guys and asked several times what I thought of how it was going. They also put up with a difficult neighbor. They have great helpful attitudes that cover the whole situation, not just the specific task they are there for. Dan gave me lots of instructions on how to take care of it all. I am not good at this stuff, but he was very patient going over it several times and encouraging me. I know I can always call with any questions. I plan to do the backyard with Dan in the spring. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

Our job was small in scope so we decided to try to tackle it ourselves. We would not hesitate to call Dan again. He was professional, prompt and eage to provide good service. I would definately recommend him!

This team of amazing engineers, visionaries, landscapers and artists... are awesome folks to have around. Their confidence in the task at hand and their true sense of enjoyment as they work...is powerfully inspirational! They took a dream and made it a reality! Quite possibly, and in our opinion, the best team anywhere for transforming a difficult yard into an eyeful of spender! We will look forward to our next project with Good Earth Outdoor, as their attention to detail and embellishing the natural organic look of the property was very important...and they nailed it!!!

The owner, Dan Stanza, came over to look at the site and discuss options for the area. We also exchanged ideas over email and he sent me pictures of possible shrubs. We decided on planting the royal purple smoke shrub, Arizona Sun Blanket flowers, and Ruby Stella Daylily's. Dan and his co-worker arrived on the morning of the requested date and began working on the site. Since this spot had a large tree removed there were some old/large roots within the area. They took the time to dig out all the old roots that were buried in the area and level the ground. The team worked from the morning until the early afternoon. I was very pleased with the re-organization of the stone wall. They made sure to water the shrub and flowers when the job was complete. Dan was very professional and did an excellent job. His price was much more reasonable than some of the larger landscape companies.
