Description of Work: I have daylight windows in my cathedral ceiling. Not easy to get to let alone install windows. This was a painless, no nonsense process from beginning to the end, which I like. I had to warm up to it, but I am going to hire Tim again to finish up the other three windows. There are stickers on the one window that was replaced and that is just a tad annoying since I cannot get to the window to remove them. But overall, the quality of the window is GOOD and the individual who replaced the window sure knew his stuff. Made it look easy.

Description of Work: I had EEC install new windows and siding a few years back. The siding is ok, other than being able to tell on the front of the house that there is one spot where it does not match and when they ran it to the front stoop they pulled up the new pavers and did very little to make that right. The windows have since been replaced again. You could hear everything outside and it was very cold in the winter, as if there were no windows at all and the caulking was so bad that they whistled when the wind blew. The installer of the new windows showed us that there had been no insulation put in around the old windows. I found caulk on my kitchen cabinets and appliances. I have moved on, but please be cautious of this company.

+ 0 moreVery good experience. Kent was a very knowledgeable, helpful, and non-pushy sales person. The initial consultation probably took 30-45 minutes, which was nice because I was not looking forward to a three hour presentation on the intricacies of vinyl siding. Installation began within a week of the day I signed the contract and took 9-10 days to complete. I was originally told it would take 5 days, but it wasn't a big deal to me that things went a little longer because it was worth it. The house looks great and they really took extra care to ensure that lighting fixtures were properly reinstalled, outdoor speakers were mounted, etc. If I have one complaint it would be that I picked up quite a bit of debris (nails, siding scraps, etc) after the job was complete, but I didn't consider that a major problem. Considering that this job cost less than half of the estimate of another "major" siding company, I am very pleased with the end result.
Description of Work: Removed existing house trim, enclosed the house in a layer of styrofoam insulation, and installed new vinyl siding.

THE MATERIALS USED WERE THE SAME AS THE BIG SIDING COMPANIES, BUT THE PRICE WAS LESS THAN HALF OF THE TWO OTHER ESTIMATES I GOT. THE WORK WAS DONE IN A WEEK, AND THE WORKERS WERE WILLING TO CHANGE ANYTHING I DIDN'T LIKE, AND THEY EVEN INSTALLED A NEW STORM DOOR FOR ME.
