A Perfect Lawn

Installed the sprinkler system in December 2023. Came back out in March to turn the system back on. Then it was tuned off because of an abundance of rain. I used it in March and April, everything was fine. Then on June 6, I turned the system on, the water wouldn't flow. I called Shawn, he couldn't come out that day but said he would be there the following Saturday, the 8th, in the morning. Saturday came, no sign of Shawn. I texted, asking for an ETA, no response. An hour later, again, I told him I had to run some errands and asked for his ETA, this time he wrote back, said he couldn't come. I asked when he would reschedule. No response. So, I wrote back and said never mind, this is the second time he's been a no show, and that I would hire someone else, and if what they found was a warranty issue, I'd send the bill to him. He then became belligerent and said not to call him again and that he would call his attorney. I then looked him up on Missouri Casenet, he has several lawsuits against him, some from the city, many for delinquent taxes, and a suit from John Deere. At the time, I did not do a background check because Angi swore all their vendors were pre certified. So I now have a $5,200 non working irrigation system and an added expense for me to hire someone else to figure out what A Perfect Lawn did wrong. Shawn will say what you want to hear, but when there's an issue, he isn't reliable and is downright belligerent. Just not the type of guy you want to hand money too. Look on to Casenet for proof. On top of that, this guy did not get a permit.

Shawn considers each client like a long time relationship.  He takes complete care in the design, installation and follow up.  I believe he came by 2-3 times post installation to double check system, make sure I was watering appropriately and not over watering.  Trained me on system -- and walked property each time to ensure everything was getting its share of water. 
I have referred him to friends and even had him put in my father's system.  Shawn will do as much or as little as you need - does not over sell and will be so prompt and courteous that you want to invite him in for lunch. 
He and his team are excellent!
