Description of Work: I purchased an 'Angie's Big Deal' to have a leaky pipe under my kitchen sink repaired. Roto-Rooter responded immediately, and had someone out the next day, which was impressive. The rep was professional and quickly diagnosed the problem, which was a cracked garbage disposal and faulty drain. My only concern was the outrageous quote to repair it: $500 plus parts. My husband was able to purchase the parts and repair for about $150.

Description of Work: We have a 50 gallon hot water heater and we could only go through one shower without the water getting cold. We called to get an appointment and technicians arrived rather than a plumber so could only diagnose the situation and then we had to set another appointment to get a plumber out and confirm and fix the unit. They believed it was a element that went out on the hot water heater so the plumber was able to fix it the next day he came out. It was frustrating taking off work when we just had to set another appointment but I understand it was busy. The fact that they fixed the water heater the next day made up for it though.

Description of Work: I had to have my kitchen drain pipe replaced from basement floor to the stack in the wall. The gentleman was courteous, kept me informed, and worked efficiently. The work was completed in the time stated and at the price quoted. I would use the company again.

Description of Work: Water heater burner was not staying lit it would go out after about 45 seconds after I would light it. Shawn came out within 45 minutes of me placing the call. He explained to me the two possible problems that could be causing the problem and quoted each one to me. We tried the first option which was cleaning the unit and that took care of the problem. Shawn was professional and did a great job.

Description of Work: Cleaned about 6 ft of drain pipe to end backup from washing machine drain. Backup resolved, in short time. I feel the set price for this is steep, as it was not much pipe to clean or a complex job. I could purchase the tool to do it myself for about the same price overall.

Description of Work: Outstanding service. Friendly, efficient. Quickly fixed both a faulty, low-pressure shower head (restoring it to full pressure) and a broken shower add-on to a clawfoot tub. Affordable price for excellent service and 2 newly functioning showers!

Description of Work: I had purchased a coupon special price from Angie's List email. I thought the problem would be a relatively easy fix. The Roto Router person told me the job would be much more than I had thought and I am not ready to go the full nine yards on the problem for it is not a constant issue. The Roto Router person was very professional and did not make me feel as though I was wasting his time nor did he charge me. I was very pleased with the way the Roto Router person responded to the confusion on my part.
