Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

I had an award winning yard and they wrecked it. It cost me an additional $1,800 to replace the north side of my yard. They would have left my yard this way had I let them. They didn?t show any responsibility for this at all. Every time I think about this I get mad. The way they treated me was awful. I got 50% satisfaction for this.

I called at approximately 3:30 on Sunday afternoon and requested a service call to clear a clogged toilet. A dispatcher called approximately 15 minutes later and asked for clarification on the address - the original contact had misspelled the street name (it is a strange name and her mistake was understandable). The plumber arrived within another 20 minutes (so less than an hour after the initial call on Sunday afternoon). He described possible issues and the possibility of damage to the fixtures when using the auger. I was required to sign a damage waiver. He cleared the toilet drain using a hand auger. he cleaned up the small splashes that occurred during the process. He flushed the toilet several times to ensure it was working properly. I used a coupon available on the company website to reduce the cost from $129 to $99. The company has a new electronic invoice system that caused some minor delays waiting for the response using a cell-phone-like device. Overall I was very pleased that they were able to come to the house and complete the job within 2 hours of the initial call. The plumber was very friendly and talkative.

With the onset of colder weather, having a working hot water heater was a necessity. Very quickly, the testing and diagnosis were completed; replacement part obtained, and installed. The plumber (Jason) used a heavy-duty shop-vac to clean up and left the work area in a very clean condition. Even though Jason got squirted with the smelly, stagnant water from the water heater, he remained very cordial, informative and professional. Using the Angie's List Coupon, we saved $20.00. Even though Jason was seeing the Angie's List Coupon for the first time, there were no difficulties in getting the discount.

Yesterday our basement had more than an inch of water in it. I called them first thing this morning (Saturday) and later in the morning they were already here. The dispatcher called and apologized that they couldn't have someone come immediately but said that they would be there within an hour. 30 minutes later the called and said someone would be at our house within 30 minutes and they came only a few minutes later. They spent quite a bit of time diagnosing the problem so that they didn't charge us for unnecessary services. Once the problem was found the cleared the blockage in the line, left no mess for us and apologized for taking so long to locate the specific problem. Throughout the whole process everyone was very polite and professional. I would definitely call them again.

The service man showed up on time and was very professional and courteous. He assessed the problem quickly and quoted a price. Finished the work in about an hour. Gave me very specific, helpful advice about how to avoid the problem in the future. $325 felt a little high, but I'm satisfied and it worked, so I guess I'm OK with it.

THis was incredibly helpful. THe gentleman who came out made an assessment based on listening to the water run through our pipes and was able to pinpoint the problem quickly. He snaked the drain in a different direction than had been used previously and discovered that the clay pipe was broken/crushed. He provided me with the lateral sewer line hotline for my city and we are on the way to getting the pipes replaced. We had thought all along that the problem was tree roots. Turns out that portions of pipe were no longer even connected. I shudder to think about what learning this the hard way would have looked like.

The owner of the company also came out and tried to fix it. They could not fix the problem and the tub was still leaking. They also destroyed my expensive gold plated faucet. They did a lousy job and I had to hire somebody else to finish the work. I was not satisfied with their service.

Their prices were reasonable. I thought the man that came out was very nice and did a nice job. I was pleased with the work they did. I would use them again.

We did use them in emergency and non-emergency situations. Their national office usually has a dispatcher call ahead of time and then they recall to confirm. They do call if they're running late and they do get the job done in a prompt manner. They always are ready to come out.

It went fine. They did a great job. I would use them again.

I was dissatisfied with the service; I was overcharged as they didn?t even clear the line on the roof. The man left his light on our property. I left it on our front porch. I tried to get it back to him but the people who answered the phone never passed along the message or he got the message and he didn?t care. After two weeks I gave up.

They usually come as soon as I need them. They are thorough in their work. We will continue to use them.

When I called on Saturday morning, I was told that someone would arrive within 1.5 hours. Larry arrived about 1 hour later, examined the drain, and told me the cost (assuming that the problem was indeed with this drain, and not a problem with the sewer lateral). He brought in his equipment and quickly snaked the drain. He tested it and the water drained correctly. He was quick, efficient, and polite.

Came and checked drains, gave an estimate and gave some tips as to keeping drains clean. Very hot and yet he did not complain a bit. Was prompt, quick and pleasant to talk to. Over all an excellent job. Larry was my serviceman, and I was stunned they could come out two hours after I called. I didn't think that ever happened anymore. Amazing.

The tech, Terry was great! Terry came the same day and he was so personable. He was honest and executed all ways to fix the drain before he may have had to do more work and charge extra! He was able to fix it without the extra fee!

They came out on time. The job was done on time. They did a good job cleaning up their mess. They explained what they were going to do. I have been using them for many years now. I have had no problems.

I called with a non-emergency call at about 9AM in the morning and they showed up at my house by 10:15AM. Jacob Dugal was my service technician and he was very friendly, professional, helpful and honest. He looked at my kitchen sink and one bathroom sink. He told me the bathroom sink issue wasn't related to the kitchen issue. Instead of taking advantage of the situation and charging me to clean the bathroom drain, he told me how to easily fix the issue myself, which I was very grateful for. He gave me the estimate for cleaning the drain and told me about a coupon in the phone book to reduce the price even more. I would definitely call them again.

The price is just for the last visit; they are pretty expensive. They were professional. One thing I liked was that I made an appointment the day before, and the day of the appointment their office called about a half hour before just to make sure I was here and to let me know they were on their way. They were pretty quick. I will look for someone less expensive.

They were nice people, and they got the work done. If something serious were to come up with our plumbing we would defiantly use them again.

Our washing machine drain clogged christmas eve day with a load of laundry in it. I tried to unclog it myself with a snake but couldn't reach the clog. They came within a few hours and didn't charge extra. They were polite, professional, and quick. I'm sure someone would have done it cheaper, but this was reasonable.

The person was an hour later than promised and once he arrived gave me an outlandish price ($179) I told him that that was too high and he asked me what I would pay. I said $100 since I had a home warranty service that could do the job in three days. He went to talk to the manager and came back with an offer of $129. I declined and he went out again to talk to his manager who ok'd the price at $100. One he started the job it was done professionally and effectively.
