Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Work was done well. Serviceman was very good and knowledgeable. Took 15 minutes, charged me $424. To me this was very excessive.

Sometime last night, my husband informed me that the kitchen sink was not draining. My husband is a great "Mr. Fix-It", but try as he might, he could not unclog the drain. This morning, we called Roto Rooter. Within a couple of hours, Ken arrived at our door. He was professional and courteous from the start. It took a while for Ken to isolate the problem, and it didn't help that we don't have very many access points throughout the house. Ken didn't give up! Eventually, he was able to clear the drain by running several dozen feet of auger through the drain. His persistence saved us from having to tear out walls. Thank you, Ken and Roto Rooter!

The technician was very nice and professional and I have no complaints on his service. I was amazed that for 15 min of work I was charged $225.00 and I thought that was extremely pricey for a pretty simple fix. It is for this reason I won't use them again because of their pricing. I thought it would be a hourly price which I assumed would be cheap for a plumber, but really...$$$$$$ is too much for 15 min of work and I had a coupon so it would have bee 40.00 more. I wish I made that much!

I called on Sunday, the tech was here within 30 min. I didn't have to pay extra for Sunday. The tech was very professional and couldn't have been nicer.

We had been having problems with an outside drain. Than we had a severe week of rain & storms which just compounded the problem causing leakage under our basement door. We've used Roto-Rooter before and we know the problem gets solved everytime we've had an issue. They did an evaluation of the problem and then told us what we needed to do. They checked all drains inside and outside of the house and did the work that needed to be done to ensure all the pipes and systems to the house were clear. We saw immediate results before they even left the driveway and their work is guaranteed for the next 6 months should an issue reoccur. We are very happy and pleased to do business with Roto - Rooter. The other good thing about Roto-Rooter is you know you can customer service ASAP. They are very fast at scheduling you in on the day you call with your problem. The other good thing is it's the same fee whether they come in the evening, weekend, holiday etc. and they're available 24/7..That's service!

Kevin did a good job and determined that the pipe was clogged with mud. Glad that's all it was. An easy fix, but took a huge concern off my mind. Big proponent of Roro-Rooter. Highly recommend.

We had two calls for this provider. We called on Saturday afternoon during Easter weekend to have someone come out and clean out the kitchen drain. They gave us a service time window and called when they were on the way. Tech introduced himself (Jerrell)and explained the cost and what he was going to do. He did what he could for us, but he thought that we had a broken pipe and needed a camera to be run down the pipe. He scheduled the camera service call for Monday morning. Camera service call on Monday was ok. It was scheduled for 8:30 and when they did not show up by 9:15 I called the office. They were very nice, told me the tech was tied up on another job. They were sending the next available person. They did call when the tech was on his way. Would have been nice to receive a call telling me they were running late. The tech was very professional and friendly. His name was Glenn tech number 4588. He explained what he was going to do and the cost. We did have a broken pipe. He gave us the options and went over everything. He was able to answer all of our questions. Will be making the repairs and plan on using Roto-Rooter for the job. They are a little expensive, but it seems like they always have some kind of a coupon. Have used them in the past for plumbing services.

I had a significant blockage in my sewer line going out to the main. It was a messy and challenging problem and the Roto Rooter service person did a great job.

Jim was my technician. My service was scheduled for between 8:00 a.m. and 11 a.m. and he showed up right at 8:00. He was very professional and courteous, and he performed the job quickly without making a mess. Price was a little high, but with an Angie's List coupon it was more reasonable so I gave them an 'A' for that category (and all others). I would definitely recommend this provider.

Showed up when they said they would. Friendly technician. Seemed to know his trade. Cleaned up more than I expected. Offered helpful advice. Follow-up call from the owner to see how things went. A pleasant experience to clear up an unpleasant sewage stoppage.

Steve was professional, friendly, and efficient. He gave an accurate estimate of work to be done and cost, and was prompt and courteous. He cured the immediate problem and gave helpful advice about possible long term projects without being pushy. I'd strongly recommend this service. They aren't the cheapest, but not prohibitively expensive either.

Our plumber was Robert. We communicated by phone before he arrived. He arrived on time, was professional and did a great job in assessing and repairing our problem pipe. While he was onsite we discussed another potential issue we were having with water pressure and plan to have him fix that issue also We have used Roto-Rooter before for a gutter issue and were very pleased both times with their prompt and courteous response. We would definitely use them again for a future plumbing issue.

Called Roto Rooter after finding water entering my basement through two drains. A plumber was there within the hour. Glenn thoroughly explained what was wrong and got to work. After the drains were clear, Glenn sat in my dining room and gave me pointers on how to keep my drains clear. To top it off, Glen gave me a gallon jug of Roto Rooter Pipe Shield. Glen was great!!

Professional service from call, call-back 30 minutes prior to arrival and the service technician Shawn. He explained the diagnosis in understandable manner prior to providing estimate. He performed the work timely and answered all of my questions. I would use them again. (The cost included a coupon from their website.)

I used roto-rooter and I would I highly recommend them. Same day service and the installer, Chris, was very thorough and did a top notch job.

He had to go on top of the roof to snake out the clog. The service was good but a little pricey.

The service man arrived very promptly. The sink was really clogged - I tried drain cleaner and plunging it myself and had no luck whatsoever. It had been cleaned about 10 years ago (also by Roto Rooter) and with all the cooking greases and use our sink gets, although we are careful not to get grease and food particles down the drain pipe, that was probably what would be normal maintenance. Our basement pipe was too rusted to reach the clog from so he went outside to find an exterior line. I don't know if we have an exterior line but he brought the auger machine in to the kitchen and unclogged the drain. He cleaned up the mess and was very neat and clean. The drain works like new now. They offered a senior discount and I think the $230 was the discounted price after the $30 discount was taken.

The service technicians were very prompt and professional. They were conscientious about keeping our home clean during and after the service. They were able to successfully clear the sewer lines. Our basement floor drains no longer back-up when showering or doing laundry.

Roto-Rooter to the rescue again!! Sink in guest/hall bathroom developed slow draining, and I tried various liquid gel products to unplug. Instead of clearing the drain, the slow draining turned into NO draining! Called Roto-Rooter on Monday and technician was here early Tuesday morning to clear the drain. Jim was very courteous and professional and had all work completed within one hour. My husband and I have used Roto-Rooter for drain service over several years and have always received great service from all - phone contact, dispatcher and technician. They are my "go-to" guys!

Called about 7:30 in the morning. They were there by 9 and done by 9:30. Quick, efficient and clean. Very happy with the result.

Robert Johnson was very friendly. He was very thorough in explaining what he did and what else we should do to ensure the drain no longer backs up. Bob turned a bad situation into a good experience. I would definitely call them again for any plumbing concerns.

I found water running down the wall of one of our basement rooms and immediately called Roto-Rooter. Within an hour, a plumber named Bob arrived. He was friendly and professional. He found that the water hose running to the fridge was leaking. He promptly replaced the hose with one he had with him and asked if we would like the water remediation division of their business to come dry things out. My husband and I said yes, and Bob made the call. Zack Cosens arrived within 30 minutes. He, too, is professional and friendly. Within an hour and a half he had two fans and two dehumidifiers running in the house to take care of the water damage. He had to remove some dry wall that was too saturated but was able to save most of it.
