My Dumpster Guy

Everything seemed to start well and the 40 yard dumpster was delivered on time. However, it was so close to the garage door we couldn't open the door completely. I called and a nice young lady said they would be out that night or early the next day. Sounded fair to me. We started work the next afternoon and still no word or contact about moving the dumpster forward in the drive. There was a full 2 feet available to pull it forward. I called and got another nice young lady who said "actually they aren't responsible" but she would get a hold of the sub contractor. About an hour later we got a voice mail saying they couldn't move the dumpster without damaging the neighbor's property. That didn't make too much sense because they obviously got in that far with out damaging property, we were simply saying not as far. I thought no big deal, the gutter on the garage is already damaged from being hit by the heavy door and I had called and gotten the same run around with the young lady, so we just continued to work. Realizing we needed more time we called for a 3 day extension. Well they came a day early and fortunately my man on the scene was able them to put the dumpster back down. The only problem was now it was even CLOSER to the garage and we could open the heavy door even less, needing to prop it open with a heavy concrete urn. Too my mind this was a dangerous situation! Not only was it dangerous in my estimation, we wasted time when coming from the back of the house because we had to travel all the way around this 40 yard dumpster. So safety, time and money was at stake. I called again and was directed to Clean Up Contractor and finally got through to the "manager" Tony on the second day who basically repeated the same excuse. My questions were how did you get it that far in without damaging the neighbors property not once but even closer the second time and better still did they even care the customer couldn't open the door to the dumpster? After a long shouting match I realized my best approach is to warn people off from this company and it's associates. They have NO REGARD for your SAFETY, TIME or MONEY! At the very least be there when the dumpster is delivered to demand you have room to open the door. COMMON SENSE! Or at least I thought so.....
