Description of Work: Andy looked at the work we need done and made suggestions on what action to take next. We are going to sell the home and do not want to invest too much. He was honest and direct in the way to move forward. Did not charge for great information.

Description of Work: Properly connected vent for bathroom exhaust fan. The vent for the bathroom exhaust fan was leaking because it wasn't properly attached to the roof vent. Andy was the third person I had in to get it done correctly. Most people I contacted didn't want to go into the attic and one wanted to vent it into the attic space. I was so grateful to find someone to complete the job properly. Would definitely use him again.

Description of Work: There were four jobs in May through July: (1) recoating our driveway; (2) repairing our deck; (3) replacing termite-damaged wood and (4) painting. The driveway project involved coating it with a layer of cement and creating a level transition into the garage. The cement in the driveway had settled and it was no longer level with the garage floor. Also, the driveway had become pock-marked over the years and the cement coating gave it a few more years' life. The deck project included reattaching a post to the pier piling. The piling had settled and the post had pulled away from it. They built up the piling and reattached the post. Also, they repaired the fascia board where it had pulled away from the deck. The termite-damaged wood was in the basement. The board that connects the house frame to the basement wall had termite damage and they replaced that portion of the wood. It involved jacking up the house slightly, cutting out the damaged wood, putting in the new wood and letting the house back down. The painting was on the exterior -- wood trim around the windows. In all these projects, Andy and his crew did exactly what was planned, did it well and for the price quoted. This is the second year we have used his services because we were so happy with the work he and his crew did last year. Andy is thorough in reviewing the work to be done and his estimate. He and his crew are not satisfied until the job is done right, even to the point of re-doing work when it didn't turn out as expected because of factors beyond his control. We are really happy with the work he has done and recommend him highly. That's why we came back to him a second year.

Description of Work: I had a list of jobs that I wanted a bid on. Andy came out and bid all the jobs at once and I picked and chose which ones I wanted done at the time. When he arrived to do the work ( date I chose) he had a helper with him and they worked together. I added a few things I wanted done on the day of the job and they were able to accommodate the requests. They were there four hours and I loved all the work they did. They cleaned up after themselves and the work was well done. Six months later, everything still looks new. I'd definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Andy's didn't have anyone available for my plumbing emergency. They were very helpful in helping me finding someone who was available.

Description of Work: Andy came prepared with the hardware and tools to hang 17 pieces of artwork and mirrors. Several pieces were very heavy, our wall surfaces were drywall or plaster, and we asked for two hangers per piece. Andy's an artist himself, has gallery-hanging experience, measured carefully with each task, and made no mistakes. We wanted someone who knew how to hang art securely so that it would not shift on the wires or fall, and Andy met every expectation

Description of Work: He was very pleasant and gave an estimate to replace 2 exhaust fans. Perhaps I off, but the price seemed VERY high. Will go else where. It took almost 2 weeks to have him come out. Only does estimates on Saturday and was full the Sat after I called.
