As usual, Andy did an outstanding job. I had an unusual-sized door that needed to be "adjusted" in order to fit in the basement bathroom of a 90-yr old home. Andy modified and perfectly installed the door. He consistently comes up with imaginative ways to tackle challenges in older (and I assume newer) homes. I would unhesitatingly reccommend Andy and his team for anything you want done.

My husband paid the bill. They were really good. They were really good at following up. They even called us a couple of weeks later to make sure everything was still okay and nothing was leaking, which was good. They came on time.

Electrical? Plumbing? Carpentry? Concrete? Other contractors’ “mistakes”? Painting? Drywall? Etc.? Not a problem, at all. STOP!!! Do not even consider calling anyone else! We had a “laundry list” that included all the above. Andy, his crew, and his wife were “ready and willing.” There wasn’t anything they couldn’t fix or correct. His estimates were “right on.” He arrived and did the work over a period of two weeks, exactly when he said they would be here. His work is absolute perfection. He and his crew were meticulous in cleaning up. He’s imaginative and knows exactly what he is doing. Very courteous and approachable. Discusses the various options available and asks for your opinion and input. He’s been doing this type of work most of his life, so he is equipped to handle your needs and any other “surprises” that may arise. I cannot even begin to relate what a fabulous transaction this was, other than I have another list of items for him to attend to. Don’t waste your time looking for someone better! His work is flawless. Pricing was very reasonable and fair. If only everyone were as conscientious as he, and such a pleasure to do business with. OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Simply put, anyone looking for a painless, craftsman-like, innovative remodel/repair experience need look only as far as Andy's Home and Business Repair. It's difficult to say enough good things about this company. Our recent experience with Andy and his crew was 100% positive. The results of our bathroom retrofit remodel project were far above our expectations. In addition to excellent plaster work and plumbing, Andy custom-made a pair of cherry wood shelf brackets which harmonize perfectly with the linear motif of the fixtures and hardware we had him install. In every instance he did what he said he would do and at the times he said he would. He patiently answered our questions, adapted the project to include additions not in the original proposal, and always explained in detail if something in the original design needed to be changed including the how and why of the changes. When my husband and I needed to delay work for a day (to celebrate our anniversary) Andy was able to accommodate our request and still finish on time. At the end of every work day, his crew cleaned all work areas leaving everything squared away. We would recommend this contractor without reservation and look forward to engaging him for several future projects.

It went extremely well. I had loads of questions, all of which were answered in detail. I selected all the products, and Andy insured they all arrived in a timely manner so the project would be completed in an accurate sequence. The entire crew was without exception totally professional. All of them knew how to do almost everything, and were skilled in many different areas. I have two canines that are very accomplished escape artists, and the guys managed to work around that with no mishaps. They brought the dogs cookies, and became instant friends with them. I was immediately comfortable with Andy's entire crew, and amazed at their skill and the precision of their work. They cleaned up every day before they left. (I'm not such a great housekeeper, and I think the place was actually cleaner when they left than when they arrived.) I was just incidentally having a problem with one of my windows, and Andy looked at it and repaired it while he was there. He didn't have to, but he did. I believe Terry takes care of all the administrtive stuff (scheduling, billing, estimates, etc). She always contacted me to let me know when the crew members might be late, or if there was some action I needed to take to keep the project moving along. Talking with her was always a pleasant experience. Everyone associated with the company seems to fine human beings as well as extremely accomplished workmen. The finished product was flawless. I do have other projects in the works, and have already gotten bids from Andy. I already know I'm going to get a first rate product, so why look any further?

Andy's Home and Business Repair is the best! We needed to turn our basement from a storage area into a cool, comfortable movie room/party room. THEY DID IT! Way above and beyond my expectations. Andy helped me in the past and I knew I could trust the quality of workmanship that he would provide. What I did not know, until now, is how important it is to TRUST the people that are working in your home, eight hours a day for weeks. They sort of become part of the family. Andy has his own guys working with him (HI Justin and Neil!) and they were professional, skilled, tidy...I could go on and on. This company is the real deal. Book early as they are always busy.

This company came in to discuss repairs to the house. Were not overly nice. After inspecting the home with my realtor , said "lets get out of this dump" when they left which somewhat offended me. When he called to speak about the price, we did not have a good conversation. He then quoted that it will be roughly 25,000 to do all the repairs needed. I ended up getting another estimate from a different company for a quarter of the price. Not an overall good experience.

I found Andy’s Home and Business Repair on Angies list, in fact I joined just to find a reputable company, and I feel fortunate to have found Andy and Terri. Andy bid on a complete gut & remodel on one full bath and a half bath. I signed the contract based on his prices and reputation. First, this was not an easy job. My old, crooked house with bathrooms to make you cry had many problems. Andy is simply the best. The quality of workmanship, his ability (Spock-like) to diagnosis problems and devise solutions to those problems, and integrity is first rate. You can rely on Andy to do it right. He was patient and helpful with my questions; I value his advice and could not trust him and his assistant, Neil, more. They were in my home for over 4 weeks while I was at work. Even my cat, Webster, loved Andy. The also work extremely cleanly, which I appreciated. Andy’s Home and Business Repair is professional and responsive. The business manager, Andy’s wife Terri, is also a joy to work with. My bathrooms are now gorgeous and safe. I keep walking into them just to look at Andy’s work. The other work performed (plaster repairs, door replacement) was also great. I will definitely use Andy’s Home and Business again, and in fact cannot wait to be able to do so. Andy came out and discussed a solution. After Dig-Rite came out and flagged the utilities, they got right to work. The solution was a retaining wall and a closed trench the redirected the water. I am very satisfied with the work and the company. They are easy to work with and very professional.

ANDY'S HOME & BUSINESS REPAIR LLC gave us a great bid. he followed up very quickly after giving us a bid. he called every time he was going to be late.i would get a bid from them in the future.

Andy came to my house in February. I didn't have the right sizes for the vanities, so we rescheduled after I purchased the new vanities. Andy did the installs. Of course, there were issues with the faucets that I purchased. He made several runs to the hardware store. I'm sure that it was a nightmare, but he handled it well. Overall, Andy saved the day and I am thankful for his help.

Andy's Home and Business Repair was an answer to prayer for me - honestly and literally. I had been unsure how to deal with the replacements and repairs that were needed, but the city was forcing me to have the work done even though I couldn't afford it, and the house value wasn't worth it. But I went on Angie's List and started looking. I found Andy's Home and Business Repair and read the reviews. All but 1 were high recommendations and it was clear that the 1 that wasn't pleased was "Bitter, Party of 1." But what really struck me as Andy's response to the bad review. So I called them up, and Andy made it so easy. He took care of everything and did it so professionally and timely and beautifully! How many times can you say that a contractor came in "on time and on budget"? Almost never, but Andy does. He even worked some extra magic with the driveway grading so that I can park my car in my basement garage for the first time in too many years to count! They did other work for me, too, that I won't go into details on, but believe me when I say that I cannot be more pleased. The results are FANTASTIC, making me enjoy my home again, and that has been a long time coming. Thank you, thank you to Angie's List, Andy's Home and Business Repair and to God. There was a leak from the kitchen drain into the basement. They had to remove the dishwasher to get to the drain. They found the leak, repaired the broken pipe, replaced the vent pipe, replaced the dishwasher and cleaned up.They were very professional. Did a terrific job. I would recommend them to anyone.

There was a little miscommunication in the beginning regarding date/time, but we got it all worked out and they were very nice and accommodating. Andy would have preferred that I purchase and install a different disposal, but I had already purchased one, and he did agree to install it. He got right to work. We had a hard time finding which fuse led to the disposal, but his demeanor never changed, even after checking 7 fuses and going up and down the stairs. It was a 0 degree night, and there was a little trouble with frozen products, like windex and putty, but I had some and we got through. The plumbing by the previous installer was not done correctly, so he fixed that, and a plastic piece did break on the disposal I bought (what he thought would happen) but he happened to have a spare part he gave me. He finished the job in a few hours, and when he was done, he looked at the leaky faucet in the basement, tightened it, cleaned off the rust that had been building up and said I would eventually have to replace it, but it was ok for now. No charge - as per the advertisement - a small repair for Angie's list customers after the first repair.

He bid on it. The work went smoothly. What he charged me was exactly what he bid.

It is he and his wife and one other person working with them. He was a perfectionist and everything was done really well. The lights were very heavy and it was a huge job. He had to dig deeper down and pour more concrete because it was not done correctly originally.

We found Andy's Home & Business Repair on Angie's List. They lived up to their high rating; we are very pleased with the quality of the work and meticulous attention to detail. I would recommend this company to anyone!

The was my second time using Andy's service. Just like the first time, he was on time, completed the task, and cleaned up. He was professional and very his service was excellent. I have been very satisfied and would highly recommend him.

We called Andy's because we needed someone to replace the screen around our closed chimney (to keep raccoons out). We were told Andy's recently hired a roofer and he would come out between 1-3PM a few days later to see if it was a job he could do (the pitch of our roof is steep). On the day of the appointment at 10AM we received a message saying that because Andy was having medical issues (though we didn't think Andy was the one coming to the house) and it was "so late in the season" they were cancelling the appointment and we should find someone else.

I can not speak to Andy's work as I went with someone else.

I called in the evening of 8/3/10 and six minutes later they called me back since my toilet was running and I couldn't shut it off as the shut off valve wasn't working. Andy worked me in for the next morning, arrived when he said he would, evaluated the situation, went to buy the parts, came in and replaced everything needed including the shut off valve. I was extremely pleased with Andy's knowledge and professionalism. I will definitely use this company again and have recommended them to my friends. Thanks Andy and Terri for such amazing responsiveness and a great job!!!

Great! Andy and his wife Terri are very responsive and pleasant to work with. Andy came out and gave us a very reasonable and accurate estimate of what the work would cost. The job stayed on schedule, and Andy kept me informed about his progress. We are very happy with our new shower and shelving!

They were very patient with our need to postpone the job for a few weeks. The work was done quickly and professionally. Andy even installed a new switch for the garbage disposal at no additional charge. There was no mess to clean up afterward and the new garbage disposal and water line are working flawlessly.

Andy assembled the vacuum cleaner which wasn't complicated, but he took the time to walk me through the operation of it, which required several steps.

SUPERB! in every way. I look forward to finally having a "handyman" for the things I can't do and look forward to many years of service. Already hired him for another repair.
