Absolute Clean

The company was accommodating to a weekend schedule. The first time they were scheduled to come out and do work they had to cancel due to illness, but were good about calling in advance and rescheduling. Pretty straight forward job, but they were quick and even fixed an issue with my damper which they were not there to do.

They arrived on time and explained what was to be done. They completed the job quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I didn't get a written inspection report, but they did say the chimney is in good shape. They offered other services that I did not use.

After several reschedule due to weather and last minute things that came up finally scheduled the service. They were very flexible and worked with me on scheduling. Scheduled between 8-10 AM, Dave called me around 9:00 and said they were on the way. Arrived about 9:30. Did an excellent job cleaning the chimney and cleaned up completely. My chimney cover had blown off during a storm. They repaired it with new wire mesh and were able to reattach it without my having to buy a new one. Very pleased with the service

They were great. Like I said above, one of them found a leak in my furnace that was spreading to my carpeted area and fixed it temporarily till the furnace guy could come. He made other suggestions for services they offered but didn't pressure me on any of them. I would use them again and would recommend them as well.

These guys were great. Very responsive with great communication up front. They arrived early, performed the job very quickly, left everything extremely clean and were very professional the entire time. We've been looking for a chimney sweep for a while and we've found our guys.

They emailed me within 24 hrs. of paying to set up an appointment. They called within a half hour of their arrival time to confirm that they were on the way. They inspected and cleaned the chimney. Gave us an estimate for the work that needs to be done to convert our fireplace from gas back to wood burning. Very nice and will be calling them out again next year for an annual chimney sweep.

Service provider checked the chimney because we thought we had a problem. He thoroughly checked and found nothing wrong. He refunded our money because he did not need to clean the chimney or dryer vent.

Great work, in and out fast, chimney looks great. They did not do a roof inspection, only cleaned the inside.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. They did their job very efficiently and put down tarps so it was clean. When they left they did not leave a speck of dirt so I am really satisfied with them.

Dave and Richie are very fast and professional workers. they were double booked so they ended up an hour late but more than deliver on thier promises and did a fantastic job of cleaning the vents. they also sanitized and sprayed some chemicals to prevent mold and mildew. Accidentally my pilot light for the water heater was turned-off during cleaning. Next day, Paul and Richie were nice enough to drive over all the way over from North county and show me how to turn it back on also. I am really grateful foe their nice gesture. I think the prices and quality of services is very good.

Showed up on time, executed the job as promised and in a professional manner. Offered suggestions and estimate to tuckpoint firebox and install chimney cap. Would use again.

It turned out great. We scheduled a time and they came. They were on time.

It was GREAT. We have been having trouble with allergies and such. We bought HEPA fans and other things but nothing seemed to help. So we thought we would try this company for duct cleaning. Dave came out on time, and upon inspection, let me know that I had a toxic black mold problem in my basement. He would need to refer me to Paul. Paul called me back quickly and set up a time for him to come look at the situation. I looked up toxic black mold, and many of the symptoms we were experiencing matched. Paul was very knowledgeable and gave us a detailed breakdown of the severity of the problem, and how it would be taken care of. Then his price.....seemed to good to be true. Other companies wanted to charge a lot more, for a lot less. So, Paul came on time with 5 workers. They cleaned out my basement, to the tune of a 40 yard dumpster. He sandblaster the walls, killed all the mold, sprayed the entire basement with a mold killing paint, and gave me a new basement. We now breathe great, and all of the health problems we were having seem to be disappearing. BTW, when they were cleaning out the basement, EVERYTHING was passed by me for approval. They were very careful, not to throw anything away I wanted to keep. Pretty darn important. It is hard to relate the sheer size of this job, but it was huge, The price that seemed too good to be true...was better. Not only was the price great, and more than competitive, but the work exceeded my expectations. The vent guy came back for free and cleaned my vent great. I have saltwater fish, and the whole time they were very careful. They used Ozone, but only in the basement, because of the fish. He fixed two leaky faucets I had. WOW..it was such a great experience working with Paul, that I continued. He also put porcelain tile in my entire basement, then upstairs in my kitchen, hall, and Bathroom for yes a GREAT price. I WILL use Paul for anything I need that he does. I have referred him to a friend with similar problems, and would tell anyone to use him for anything he does. Himself, and his crew work fast, but careful. They are professional, but still friendly. The work is done quickly, but with attention to detail. You can't go wrong here.

David arrived on time and he and his partner got right to work. Fireplace was cleaned. David found a crack in the grout and said they could fill it for what I thought was much too high of cost, so I refused. He said the crack went all the way through. I told him it didn't look like it went all the way through to me, so he said, well maybe not, but it was deep. As his partner cleaned the fireplace, I asked David to take a look at my gas dryer, as I was concerned about lint build up. He said this inspection and cleaning would cost $49. Well, I guess I misunderstood that the cleaning would only involve replacing the dryer vent, which he said was filled with lint. Upon further inspection when they left, I determined that there was no lint in the vent he had discarded.. David said the vent I had was a potential fire hazard and should be replaced so he put a new one on which he claimed was fire proof. I don't know one way or another whether the one I had on was a fire hazard or not or whether the new one is indeed fire proof.. The new vent was put on with duct tape of some sort. I asked David if he was going to remove the back of the dryer and clean inside to look for lint build up, and he said no it wasn't necessary because there was good air flow. That really didn't seem right to me, but I let it go, and maybe I shouldn't have. Bottom line is I paid $49 for a vent hose attached with duct tape. By the time we got upstairs the fireplace was clean, and it appeared to be adequate. I had the big deal for this service, and that part had cost me $75. I don't think anything particularly special was done in the fireplace above and beyond what I would have expected for any cleaning. Bottom line is this: they were nice guys, but I think I was sold a bill of goods with the supposed dryer cleaning issue. But, I accepted it, so that is my fault. Also, the exaggeration of the grout in the fire box bothered me. I won't have them back again, because the gut feeling overall was not good about how honest they were being.

Initially bought the deal for 75$ to have the chimney inspected and cleaned, as we had not used it in several years. They found several areas that were in need of repair and those were fixed. Also inspected the vents in the house and found them very dirty and contained some mold- which we were unaware of. Cleaned out all vents and added something to distinguish the mold. They were very professional and did a thorough job- as far as I can tell.

Paul is incredible and "knows his stuff". We purchased an Angie's List Coupon special and plan to use it at a later date.

Cleaned out dryer vent - mostly through the outside vent. They also retaped a loosen connection.

Had Absolute Clean investigate what looked like mold on my carpet, but they were able to rule it out. I was grateful they did not try and charge me for services I didn't need, and they were very friendly about the situation. I would definitely use them in the future if I needed help!

Overall, we were very pleased with this service.
