I didn't like it at all. Then I went and hired the people I normally have inspect the furnace, and the guy came in and just took the part out and cleaned it up and put it back in just as part of the service and everything worked fine. So it looked like just a way to get in and they used Angie's List and the discount as just a way to get in, try to sell or something. They just didn't do the job very well. They didn't do it. If they would have it would have been a good price. The price, if done, would have been an A. When they don't do the job it's hard to grade anything. I guess the responsiveness was fine. I would say since they didn't do the job the professionalism would have to be an F. I would never use them in the future. They did the inspection but when they came to something that was wrong they didn't clean it, they just said I need to change it and, you know, it was the part that was acting up but they, his little orifice where the gas comes out for the pilot light was a very tiny one. Like more like a paper clip wire. It's really small and he said that whole part needed to be replaced when that just needed to be, the hole needed cleaned out you know. They didn't even try to do it. They didn't even look at it and take it apart, they knew that the part was bad. So anyway, it's a lot easier, and the price on that by the way was not especially good either. The workers were fine I mean you know, their personality and all, they were personable and everything they just didn't do the job.

Eddie was the service tech that completed the furnace clean and check. He arrived on time, completed the service and provided me with information regarding the current performance of my furnace and gave recommendations for improved efficiencies. Eddie was friendly, professional, and did a great job!

Everything went very smoothly. Danny was very detailed, and made it clear what he recommended and why. Everything has been working very well.

I upgraded the entire HVAC system in a 70 year old house that did not have central air nor ductwork. Everything was replaced with newer and more efficient Carrier equipment. Anton's was one of the only companies willing to take on the project since it was very labor intensive. They offered me a few different estimates with varying models and options and we negotiated a final price for the one that worked best for my situation. The installers were friendly and professional and completed the job in three days. There were a few issues dealing with an older home but they were all addressed and solved with ease. The new system has been working great and it is a gigantic upgrade over the older furnace. I highly recommend Antons for your HVAC needs.

We found Anton's Heating and Cooling through an offer on Angie's List. Our unit had a lot of condensation and did not seem to be cooling as expected. The customer service was outstanding beginning with the girl that scheduled the appointment. They were able to come by within a day even though a couple of other companies that we had contacted were not able to schedule us quickly due to the incredibly hot temperatures and volume of calls. The service specialist, Eddie, arrived and promptly diagnosed a minor issue with a hose. He was extremely personable, thorough and informative. It was evident that he took pride in his job. We will be recommending this company to our friends and neighbors.

Faster than fast. Cleaned up entire work area. Very professional. Tried to get breakfast and lunch for them, but they never took a break. I managed to convince a couple of Gatorade s in them, 95° in the shade. Excellent eye to details.

After getting estimates from 3 other well known companies, Anton's was my choice based on a combination of equipment, price and customer service. It began with my first meeting with Comfort Advisor Scott Moore. When Scott came to my home, he took the time to educate me on my options, provided me with extensive literature which included an energy analysis of my home and a detailed line item proposal for three different systems that would be suitable for my situation. I ended up purchasing the most expensive combination presented because the Anton price for the higher end options was in line with and in fact lower than 2 of the other companies' mid and entry level offerings. One of the things that impressed me most about Scott was his ongoing contact with me as I sorted through and researched my options to make an informed decision. Scott called me with three weekly follow ups between his initial proposal and my decision to go with Anton's. Each call was nothing more than a courtesy to see if I had made a decision and to answer any questions I had. This was very different than other companies that gave me a quote that was "good for 5 days" or warned me that "equipment prices could be changing at any time". In short, Scott made me feel like a customer instead of a sale. Once I made the decision on June 16 to go with Anton's, the installers (Terry and Ben) showed up promptly at 7:00am on June 18. Anton's was willing and able to install on June 17 but I had another contractor for a different service coming for an estimate on that day. Much to my satisfaction, Terry and Ben were every bit as professional and customer oriented as Scott had been. They treated my home as if it was their own to the point of their own peril; our staircase to our basement has oak treads and placing plastic over that to protect my staircase made traversing the stairs precarious at best. They worked continuously from the time they arrived and had the complete system switched out by mid-afternoon. In addition to doing what they came to do, they answered all of my questions, gave us a crash course on using the system and even did a couple little things just because I asked. My overall experience with Anton's could not have been more efficient or professional.

It was more than $49. There was something else they did. It was more than I expected to pay for. It is an old unit and in fact he was sort of implying that we might need to replace it. It seems to be working okay now. We called them a day earlier but didn’t get any immediate response. They were caught up and couldn’t come out so they had to come out I think the next day. There was some delay. I was a little bit disappointed but I understand how things are, they are overbooked I guess.

They were very professional, explained everything they were going to do and why it would work. They guaranteed their work to provide a significant difference and our satisfaction. It was a flawless experience from our end. They came when when said they'd be here, did the work, followed up to make sure things were working out. A 5 star experience. This was a much better option than any other service offered us. I had had several companies in my home that offered solutions from "bad design, live with it", "bad design, add a separate unit for second floor" and the closest resolution to Anton's was a slight re-work of the ducts and lots of dampers and not guaranteed. I listed the price as "fair" The work they did, did not come cheap but the quality of work they did was well worth the money we paid. It's not often you spend that much money and actually feel like you get your money's worth, but this experience was definitely worth the money spent. We are very comfortable in our home now and don't give any thought to how hot it is outside or notice any difference when we go up to the second floor.

I would use Anton's again. Their work is great quality. I was a little surprised at how high my bid was for installing a new zoned system, but after I get additional bids for the work I think I am going to find that it is comparable (I hope, because I would love to use them!).

They weren't able to do everything they were supposed to do because our A/C was dead. We asked them for a bid to fix it, and it wasn't as thorough with the bid as the company we ended up going with.

Generally everything went well. I bought the $50 home inspection package so I was a little surprised by the additional charges of $130 for what appeared to be part of the routine inspection. I will probably call around for other providers before buying another one of these inspection packages.

They did a fine job, they were prompt and courteous.

Unable to repair unit on roof (two story about 40 ft roofline in the city). Service agent was very professional and appeared trust worthy. Appt scheduling was easy and pleasant. They showed up on time.

The technician, Anthony, was very communicative regarding all aspects of the work. He was courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. He did a though assessment of what needed to be done, performed all work and provided a list of recommendations of annual maintenance items to avoid costly repairs in the future. He went above and beyond and I would highly recommend his services to anyone.I even used him to check out a second unit a couple of days later and again, he was absolutely stellar.

We received an estimate to replace the air conditioning system. The estimate was $8000, $6000, or $4000. We called another repair service to get another estimate and rather than replace the entire system, they were able to fix the problem for $679.00. I am not sure why Anton's was so high when we were able to fix the problem in an hour for considerable less. I am happy I decided to contact someone else for an additional bid. I would recommend doing this for any job that has a high expense attached to it.

We received 4 bids for the replacement of our HVAC system. Scott from Anton's was the only estimator who took the time to check our vents and the proposal was provided with three options. It was the most complete and had the types and models of the offered system components clearly outlined. The company followed up before and after we chose them with a series of e-mails. Scott always returned my calls and texts in a prompt manner. On the day of install the Anton's crew arrived on time and introduced themselves. They were polite and well dressed and the crew chief Jason walked me through the install. Although I am not a HVAC expert by any means, I have owned enough homes to know a quality install and I can say with confidence that the craftsmenship was truly top notch. It may seem like a small thing but Scott was the only one who listened to my desire to have the exterior unit on a rack as the old one was. Further they removed the old 20yr old rusty rack and installed a new one which sealed the deal for me. Thank you for an excellent experience.

When the system was turned on this spring I noticed water dripping from the pipe in the basement. The pipe looked frothy/foamy so I purchased a deal on Angie's list to do clean a check on the system. I thought with that they would identify any issues and give me an estimate on any repairs. He told me there was a leak but they didn't have history on the unit so they don't know how big the leak is. He wanted to put freon in the unit to find out how big the leak was. He said if it froze up when we turned it on to turn it off right away. This happened the first time I turned don’t he unit and I shut it off. I knew the system needed some work so I looked back on Angie's list and picked a company that I thought could do the work. I pick this company because they had good ratings. I called them up and talk to customer service there. I told them I had a leak and that I wanted someone to come out and fix it. the lady told me I needed a diagnostic and since I was a member I needed to purchase the diagnostic deal on line. I purchased it and called back to schedule an appointment. The tech came out today and started talking to me about my system. I realized that he did not intend to fix the leak today. I said I thought you were going to fix the leak. He said first they have to diagnose the issue then give a cost on fixing the unit. He said there was a separate price to find the leak as well. I told him I thought he was going to fix the leak. At first I said I wanted a refund and he said I needed to have the diagnostic first and then I get the options and pricing. He said it could be leak or something else but they can't go off of someone else’s word. I told him he freon was low and it had already been run for an hour and it started freezing up. He said there could be multiple reasons for that, the coil could be dirt. He said the only way to figure out what the issue was is to do the diagnostic. He went inside, looked at the unit my crawl space and he showed me the dirt condenser coil. We went outside and he put the gauge on it. He said it was really low and hardly had any freon in it. I don't think he did it right, I think he wanted to sell me a new unit. First he said they can't guarantee any freon they put in today. I asked him why we would put freon into the unit if there was a leak. He said they would not put freon in. He said the repair would cost $1700 and he wanted to set up an appointment with a sales rep. I think it's possible it put the gauge on incorrectly to get a low reading when a few weeks ago another company told me it was not that low. I want my money back because I believe he was dishonest. I don't think he gave me a fair price on the repairs. I had just put 2lbs. of freon in the unit in April. They charged me $75 a lb. and he wanted to charge me $150 a lb. realistically he did not earn my trust. I don't think he ever intended on fixing my unit, I think he just wanted to sell me a new system. The moment he said I wouldn't be able to guarantee any freon he put in the unit made me not trust him. Who would want to be freon in a leaky system if the leak is horrible? The only reason to put freon in the leaking system is so it will leak and they could charge me more money to put more freon in.

The installers did a good job - were punctual, hard working, courteous, and cleaned up well after completing the install. I would recommend Anton's without hesitation. (I was pleased that Anton's backed their workmanship with 2 years labor; many companies only do so for 1 year, and that they provide the first year's service maintenance for free).
