This builder was not knowledgable or experienced enough to build a turn key inground pool, although he represented that he was an expert builder. The builder relies on subcontractors to come in behind him and make all the repairs due to his lack of knowledge and qualified staff.  The work is shoddy and does not have solid builidng fundamentals.  The subcontractors and employees turn over constantly, and many refuse to sub for this builder after experiencing first hand how badly the customers are getting screwed.  Much of the work is done to look good cosmetically, but the underlying construction is not sound.   If you view pictures don't let the cosmetics fool you.  A partial list of problems with my inground pool build includes:  change to the original design without consulting me, leaking pipes underneath the concrete, having to remove concrete for repairs, floating liner (repeatedly), improper retaining wall installation, cracks in concrete due to retaining wall installation sitting on top of concrete, poor quality surface finish of concrete, improper venting of heater unit, cheap plumbing valves and crooked exposed plumbing at the pump & filter, steel pool walls improperly installed and not lining up properly at the base (overhanging base),  improper drainange of concrete decking with water standing against house, improper drain tile with only one exhaust outllet causing water to puddle and flood the basement repeatedly, (basement had been completely dry for 10 years and started having problems due to the pool decking not being installed with the proper drainage away from house) many sharp objects and rocks underneath the liner, defective pool floor had to be re-done and re-surfaced, several holes in liner due to the multitude of sharp objects underneath liner, failing to show up when promised over and over again (more than 20 events of this),  when finally showing up the subs or staff would only work for a short amount of time and get little done.  Further you will find that the subcontractors that build and repair the pools will eventually stop coming out because they will refuse to work for the builder.   He will have to find new subs and this will further delay any repairs or construction progress.  The company owner, is extremely unreliable and unprofessional.  He also very emotional at times, and has a tendency to become volatile and agressive if he feels insulted.
Do your homework!  I relied on the BBB rating at the time, and I visited a cosmetically beautifuly project that was " in progress"  at the time that I signed my contract.  I was also taken in by Derek, the owner and salesman, who is a very good at selling projects.  Needless to say, I regret that decision immensely.  I learned later (from subs) that the "in progress" project that I visited (a massive $200K project) also had a multitude of serious problems.   Derek is one of the best salesman you will ever meet, but he does not have the staff to deliver what he is promising.   He will come off great when you meet him, but don't be fooled.  You need to thoroughly research the company and Derek (the owner/salesman) before you consider this company for even the smallest project.

We hired this contractor because he initially had a can do attitude and appeared to be easy to work with.
We signed the contract in February, and needless to say, he's a great "used car" salesman.  Work was not completed on time, or professionally.  Lots and lots of issues.   We finally in the end let him go and will hire someone else to finish up.  Extremely disappointing and I'd say, buyer beware.  He makes promises he can't keep.  He doesn't supervise his jobs.  He is extremely emotional and"sucks" you into his drama and is difficult to work with.  My yard is still torn up after $25,000 and 6 months, so need I say more?

This provider was hired primarily because he said he could landscape
around our newly built pool within two weeks, prior to Memorial Day
2012. His prices were not any lower than any other landscape company.
Our first concern occurred when he  dropped off the trees and plants on our driveway and then did not
show up until AFTER Memorial Day to plant them.  We were  expected to water the plants and keep them alive on my concrete driveway while he kept promising to come but never showed up.  Then when he finally showed up ,
the plants were not planted properly, too shallow, some of the plants were not what we requested, but the provider kept insisting they were "better" than what we had requested.  We had problems with the landscape lighting and getting the provider to service it.
Eventually two of the evergreens died and it took over a year of persistance to get him to replace them, which he eventually did.
Our assessment is that he is a very good sales person but over extends himself and then cannot provide the services he promises.  Instead of conceeding that he cannot fulfill his commitment , he continues to make empty promises and you wait and wait for service.
Very unprofessional when there are plenty of professional landscape companies available.

The quality was good. They were very professional and prompt.  We had them design the landscaping and really liked the plans they came up with.

We called Artistic Group and they came out and gave us a great estimate and  creative ideas for the front of our home. I didn't know much about they different kinds of shrubs and flowers and they were very informative. They did an excellent job and we are very pleased! The service was great!

The job that they did was excellent. It looks amazing. They were very professional and very polite. They were very reasonably priced. They gave us extras for our money. We did quite a bit of work and it cost us $10000. We would definitely use them again in the future if necessary.

These are some of the hardest working guys I know. They did a super job on my landscape. They did the same for a co-worker of mines. They do a good job!
