Excellent! They were easy to work with, did masterful work, and went beyond to make sure everything exceeded our expectations! We would not consider anybody else to do future remodeling projects. By the way, their bid was a little higher but was all inclusive. By the time I added items that the other bidders omitted Stein Design was a great value and I knew going in pretty much what it would cost. The work crews were on-time and meticulous. We added a few extra tasks to the job. Trey had his guys alter built in cabinets and add electrical for an under counter beverage cooler. The finished result is beautiful!

Stein Design delivered again! They have done done may projects for us over the years. The custom bookcases, tile and heated floor turned out better than I had envisioned. In the past, they have remodeled 2 bathrooms, kitchen, reroofed our house, redid a fireplace and many small projects for us. They are the most reliable, honest and easy to work with contractors we have ever dealt with. From start to finish they communicate every step of the way. They help come up with designs that will wok for your space, are very efficient and clean up after themselves. Trey, Andy and all their contractors are friendly, reliable and talented. This is the 3rd project we have done with Stein Design and we definitely recommend them for future projects. Trey and his team of Mike Sr., Mike Jr. and Dave are the ultimate professionals. We had a complete kitchen renovation done as well as all of our flooring replaced on the main floor of our house. One room was carpeting but the rest was a beautiful wood flooring. The entire first floor was also painted. Our project was expected to take roughly 6 weeks but was completed 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Trey visits daily to ensure all is going as planned. The team cleans every day prior to departure. Most importantly the quality of work is exemplary! Great attention to detail, conscientious, genuinely nice people who take pride in their work. They previously remodeled two bathrooms for us with the same quality of work and professionalism. We will definitely return to them for future projects!

I hired Stein Design to do a kitchen and master bathroom remodel (March 2020). What originally started as a much larger project had to be scaled down due to some last minute circumstances on my part. Trey Stein was very flexible and was able to rebid our project, and come within our desired budget, while still providing top notch service. The new kitchen and bathroom look amazing! Michael and Brian were the crew who worked on our house, and they were both very friendly, clean, and were definitely experts in remodeling. They were able to do our home fast, efficiently, and still maintain a very high quality of work. These guys are definitely pros. Trey also stopped in most days to check on everything, and is very easy to work with. I was dreading doing a remodel, but really everything went very smoothly, and I feel like I got high quality work at a fair price. 10/10, I would definitely recommend Stein Design for any work you have, and I plan on using them again in the future for other projects that I am planning.

When we decided to have our kitchen remodeled, we didn’t realize the amount of detail that goes into the planning and choosing of the different appliances, countertops and flooring material. I think we visited almost every store in the local area. We also reviewed several contractors, and chose Trey Stein (of Stein Design Kitchen and Bath) to do the work, and are very glad that we did. Timely in communication and when showing to perform work, completed the work within 2 days, helped tarp inside our home below the skylights where those would be replaced, went above and beyond in terms of thorough cleanup and checked back to make sure we were satisfied with the end result.

We have no reservations recommending Stein to others and would go with him again for any future remodel work. We absolutely love both the gained functionality and fresh look of our new master bathroom. Details: We are a busy family with two working parents and a pair of 2-year old twins with another on the way. A master bathroom remodel was desperately needed but seemed at times to be one thing too much with everything else going on. We had a general idea of what we wanted done and met with several contractors. Samuel Stein had come recommended by a neighbor who recently had their master bathroom remodeled by him. We met at the house after work and liked that he truly listened to our wants, provided suggestions where he thought something different may work better and still achieve the same objective, and provided a competitive bid within a short period of time. Once we committed to using him for our master bathroom remodel, Trey worked thru the decision process with us in stages and referred us out to suppliers he regularly works with. For most things we used his referrals and received a discount on materials. For a few things we liked the selection better elsewhere and ended up paying a little extra. In the end the costs balanced out. The crew he used to do the demo and rebuild was excellent. Most days it was a father-son duo with additional men assisting, when needed. They worked around our schedule, communicated in advance when they would be at the house, and would walk me thru what had been done at the end of the day. While working they made every effort to protect the areas they needed to travel thru to get to and from the master bathroom and did a wonderful job of cleaning up at the end of each day. This last point was very important to us as parents of two young children. They were always professional about their work, and we were comfortable having them in the house both while we were at work and home with the kids. There were a few instances when decisions were changed on our part and there was never any argument about going back and redoing or changing something (e.g. paint color, changing out shower head and adding a gooseneck to gain greater height, and talking thru and getting reassurance on tub position). Only once were we unhappy with functionality. One of the sink drains did not drain efficiently. When brought to their attention they modified the assembly and then it did not hold water well. We went back and forth like this several times. Finally it was determined there was a problem with manufacture and the entire drain assembly was replaced at no additional cost. From then on out the drain has functioned perfectly. Trey was good about monitoring progress of the job on-site, remained in communication with us thru the job promptly responding to questions or concerns, and was very patient working thru decisions with us. We have no reservations recommending Stein to others and would go with him again for any future remodel work. We absolutely love both the gained functionality and fresh look of our new master bathroom.

Trey and his team were excellent! They were prompt, customer oriented and did beautiful work! Trey stops by daily to ensure all is progressing as planned and stays in close touch by phone in between. Stein Design & Development is the best company that I've ever had in my house, and I give them my highest recommendation. We have already talked to them about doing another project. Before I found Stein Design, I had grown very cynical of finding a company that was fair and honest to remodel our master bathroom with a shower floor leak from the 2nd floor to the 1st. After reading all the glowing reviews for this company, I was so excited that I may have finally found the right company after 11 years of living with an unusable shower. (This company was 1 of 3 that I talked to in 2018.) Trey (the owner) came out, and he and I were on the same wavelength in so many areas from the start. In fact, he was very patient while I showed him online photos of certain items in bathrooms to give him an idea of what I was looking for. Based on that, he showed me some of his photos, including his own bathroom, which was amazingly similar to what I wanted. When he said he could visualize what I wanted, I knew he really could. Not only that, but my husband wanted natural stone. I was very hesitant about doing that, until I saw Trey's bathroom with the natural stone, and Trey told me exactly how to take care of the tile on the floor and shower walls. I had no doubt that Trey knew what he was talking about. He even took the time to show me which cleaner on the Internet to get. Along with Trey's professionalism, patience, and helpfulness, it was clear from our conversation that Trey was an honest and fair person, who truly cared about the customer. Trey's main craftsmen were Michael and Brian, and they, too, embodied Trey's qualities. Just like Trey, Michael and Brian were very professional, kind, thoughtful, honest, fair, and they were totally customer-oriented, too. Also, their craftsmanship was outstanding. Michael, who is the lead craftsman and stone expert, actually mirrored the stone pattern on the 2 adjacent shower walls for the most aesthetically pleasing look. The men thought of little details, like adding USB outlets, shower shutoffs, access panels, etc. that other companies never would have considered doing. At various points, they asked me how or exactly where I wanted some feature placed to make sure I would be happy. They all made plenty of suggestions along the way. Additionally, they determined that the pre-existing shower floor had a spider crack in it, which was the cause of our leak. Ultimately, it was a structural problem with the floor of the bathroom. To fix it, they added support for the missing joist, making the floor solid. I was there when the inspectors came out, and they highly complimented Stein Design's framing, plumbing, electrical, and other work. Trey came out just about every day to check on the progress, answer questions, and give me updates on what would be done and when for various installations of shower, cabinets, etc. I really appreciated this. When the backsplash around the bathtub was installed, Trey was there and pointed out that the window sills were not level, which really stood out with the backsplash. Michael came up with a brilliant plan to level out the sills and make everything look fantastic. We are absolutely thrilled with everything, and I can now use my beautiful bathroom year round. Ever since we bought the house, the bathroom was so cold in the winter that I couldn't use it. Michael and Brian put plenty of insulation in the walls and floor that had not been installed by the builder. Over the next few years, we're going to have Stein Design back to work on remodeling a few other places in the house. We highly recommend this company for whatever project you have.

Fantastic! The contractor did an amazing job and he was willing to take the time to answer or explain anything we needed.

This contract was for a complete removal of a hall bathroom and installation of shower, tile work, vanity, toilet, all trim work, wall board installation and base paint treatment. The old bathroom was completely gutted to the studs and the entire project lasted about 3 weeks. We were completely satisfied with the work done by Mike, the lead carpenter and plumber, and by Trey, the owner, who made frequent stops to check on progress and any changes that were needed. In addition, any needed changes were quickly addressed and there was never a problem with determining cost changes or additional time needed for such changes. The work area was cleaned regularly and the work time was consistent every day. I would highly recommend Stein Design for any remodeling needs and we plan on using them again for updates to our master bathroom.

We are very happy that we chose Stein Design & Development Inc. to remodel our bathroom! They did a fantastic job, and we are very happy with the result! We wanted to keep our gray and white marble floor and blue wall tile in half the bathroom, plus our pedestal sink, and they incorporated these things into the remodeled bathroom in a seamless way! They replaced our bathtub with a beautiful Blue Pearl onyx from The Onyx Collection walk-in shower with Blue Pearl onyx bench, Blue Pearl onyx shelves for shampoo and soap, beautiful rain-pattern glass shower doors, and a beautiful diamond-pattern glass block window. They did a great job of painting the ceiling and the walls above the tile with a soft gray color of paint to complement the floor and the Blue Pearl onyx and blue tile. They installed a new medicine cabinet and new lighting, faucets, and ceiling vent. They also found, and repaired, a nonrelated plumbing problem in our basement, that we were unaware of, that could have caused a lot of problems for us in the future. We would recommend Stein Design & Development Inc. to anyone!
