Jim Campbell, owner, is a pleasure to do business with. He's professional and friendly at the same time. He explained everything to my satisfaction. He sent his son to do the installation, and he was equally professional and friendly. He too explained everything before and after the installation. He did a good cleanup after he was through.

I was very, very satisfied with the work performed by Jim Campbell. Jim was very professional, adjusted his schedule to fit with my wife?s and my schedules, and he kept his word.. My wife is on dialysis and she found it to be fatiguing and leaves her unsteady. Jim installed grab bars in the master bathroom, both in the tub/shower and towel racks. He also installed 2 grab bars at the kitchen exit door to the garage where there are 2 steps. Jim impressed me with his structural approach to installing the grab bars, by ensuring that he was tied into the wall?s studs. I strongly recommend him..

Jim came out the day after I called. I had researched what I thought would do the job and he suggested the same thing. Because our house has split levels, the only good solution was to use two lifts. He quoted me a price witch seemed reasonable. He came out and installed them the next week. He did a good job which included drilling holes in the ceramic tile on one of the staircases which I am sure took a lot longer then he expected. The Harmar Pinnacle lifts have worked fine for the last 8 months and I expect they will last a long time. They are well made but do have a few things I would change -- nothing serious, just inconvenient. The remote controls do not come with a holder and the arrow markings can be confusing since you must point them at the lift which makes them backward when you are at the top of the stairs (UP and DOWN would be better). The rotation lock levers stick out too far when the chair is folded up -- we keep running into them when carrying things up the stairs past the lift (our stairs are only 3 feet wide). Not major problems, and certainly not HME's fault. I could have ordered the same lifts for quite a bit less from a place out of town and installed them myself BUT I would have to drive to Kansas City to pick them up at the factory AND they would not have a warranty. Not worth all the bother and time to me. And HME will buy back the lifts if I no longer need them. I would recommend Options HME to anyone needing a stair lift (or any other service they offer). Jim was great to do business with.

Meeting went very well. Company owner is very prompt, polite and courteous.

We chose a refurbished stair lift which was installed a week later in less than 2 hours and is working perfectly. The company will move the lift if we move within 50 miles at no cost. They will make us an offer to for the lift if we should no longer need it. They will also remove and replace the lift if we need a carpet replacement at no cost. The refurbished unit is one year old and cost 1500 less than the new unit. It comes with a shorter warranty on the battery.

Options HME provides medical equipment. I like his professionalism. I like his approach. When he came out to the house, he explained everything and he provided a demonstration. The big thing that came out over the other ones, is his equipment had an 11 inch step and the most stair lifts have a 14 inch step. So it was his personality that worked for me. Plus his product sit in my stairwell better. It took about three hours to install. I was very much satisfied.
