Work actually done December 2017 but just getting around to reviewing the service... Updated existing 1st floor foyer, hall, powder room, office and kitchen wood floors with waterproof 5" luxury vinyl plank (LVP) which went RIGHT OVER our existing wood! From Mark (the manager) helping us choose the flooring to the 3 guys who meticulously installed the floor (including moving appliances & toilet, taking up/replacing baseboards, trimming out, clean-up etc.), the job was a huge success! We are extremely happy with this floor and would buy it again. This is our 2nd experience with Edwards Carpet and Flooring along Highway 70 in St. Charles County (they replaced our family room carpet Dec 2012). All is great! P.S. Our before and after photos of the kitchen are below - and altho the 15-yr old multi-colored "before" floor doesn't look worn, it was water damaged, faded and dented in several spots!

I had some fuzzing up. I called them and told then I was not please with it. They guy came out and told me it might be the newness and to wait about three months and it might go away. Three months go by and I call back. The guy was not there anymore and I talked to Kim. I told her this keeps fuzzing up and this doesn't look good. It is not doing it in all of the rooms but it is noticeable and looks bad.I told her I am afraid that if I had the carpet shampooed the carpet would disappear. I said what can you do about this. She said maybe it would go away over time. I asked what recourse she could offer and she said none. I said that is a lousily answer. I am not pleased with them and will not recommend them. They had a sale pricing I went up three price ranges to get a better quality of carpet. I did not know that it wasn't continues filament. My last carpet was and it  lasted 25 years and looked great. Kim just said that it is too bad.

The salesman was very helpful and patient with me. He gave me samples to take home so I could choose what would look good in my kitchen and entry-way. The day the flooring was to be installed, the installer was late. I called Edwards Carpet several times to get an idea when to expect him. After 2-3 conversations with the salesman, the OWNER called me back. He was not as "customer friendly" as I would have anticipated. Instead of apologizing and acknowledging my frustration, he got a little irritated with me. The installers did arrive and did a good job. They had to remove my sliding pantry doors and the weatherstrip for entry door. Since the new floor was a little higher due to the "under-lay", I would need a handyman to cut the pantry doors down. The installer offered to come back and and do it all for $90.00. I had an Angie's List handyman come out. The pantry doors did NOT need to be cut down; all he had to do was re-set the rollers on the top of the doors.
