+ -1 moreLong delay before work began & very difficult to contact. Once work began, workers complained about not being paid. We were harassed for the completion payment so that the workers could get paid. Based on previous non-responsiveness, I didn't trust him to finish the job if he was paid off. We finally got all the work done & paid him but have never received a paid-in-full statement for insurance & he does not return our calls. To add to the issue, we referred a friend (before we knew what a problem he would be), were supposed to get a check for that referral & of course, that never happened.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced chain link fence destroyed in ice storm with a wooden privacy fence.

+ -1 moreHe lied about knowing how to build a sun room. Whenever I question him he used bully tactics to get me to leave him alone. He also started asking for mor money or he wouldn't finish it. When I begged him to do things like put up guttering or steps on the deck, He said I didn't need them. It was the worste experience of my life. It's taken two years to try to get him caught and pay for this and then ultimately give up, take out another loan and have it fixed. He is a criminal that needs to be found, criminaly charged, and put in jail!!!
Description of Work: They were supose to build a sunroom and deck. He did not obtain the proper work permits. He did not build it to code. He used the wrong size and cheapest lumber. It was not treated. He did not sink the post into the ground, so the room started sinking soon after. The room was not at all level. When he was done it was an ugly wabely shack. The deck was just as bad. I told him we needed it reinforced for a hot tub. He not only didn't reinforce it. It wasn't even good enough for a regular deck. He didn't sink the posts in concrete. It was not level. The room was considered condemed, So we had to take out another loan to fix it. They pretty much had to start from scratch. Next were going to have to have the deck redone. I threatened to sue him. He agreed to pay me back $10,000. We met at my bank and he signed a notorized promissory note to pay me back $500 a month. He made one payment and disappered. My dog also came up "missing" during the few weeks he was here. If anyone knows Craige Paynter and sees a miniature shit zu poodle mix with him, please contact me at 887-2664.

+ -1 moreHORRIBLE! They took all the money that we paid for labor, and they only delivered about a tenth of our lumber. The rest of it they never gave us. Nothing was ever done. We took them to small claims court, and won the case. They are no where to be found now. We have received nothing from them.
