Mike came out to our home after an easy scheduling process. He provided us with a bid and stuck to it, despite some difficulties caused by our own configuration. He did the job very well and we were up an running in no time. Mike was courteous and provided us with a business card should we have any questions/concerns. He went over and beyond to help with walking through some setup on the smart TV as well.

I have hired Mike Haas of Digital Plus previously, and his work was A+ again this time. We were refinishing our basement and I asked Mike to install a large TV on the wall, and attach it to a new receiver with surround sound speakers. Along with this, he set up zone 2 TV/speakers for our patio area. We also had a second smaller TV mounted in our new exercise room, where he custom built a shelf, inset in the wall for our DVD/satellite box, that turned out great! He pre-wired everything in a way that not one wire/cord is visible. Mike is a professional and does not stop until the job is 100% complete. He does fabulous work and is meticulous with the details. When it was done, he is very good at explaining how to use the system to get the most out of it. I would highly recommend using Digital Plus for any type of home electronic installation.

Mike was great. Very knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. We just moved into a new house and wanted to hang our big screen TVs on the wall. We didn't want any wires showing. He mounted the TVs (one over the fireplace), snaked the hdmi cables in the wall, and installed a power outlet. He also hooked up our surround sound system (which had already been wired for by the previous owners). Then he hooked up all our components (Wii, play station, appleTV, etc). He explained how to use everything and left us with instructions. One of our TVs is a smart TV and started updating apps after being plugged back in, and he stuck around until after the updates were complete to make sure the TV was working properly.

Better than I would expect! Mike Haas perfectly positioned the TV and Soundbar and recommended a universal remote that was just right for us at a very fair price, $130. A big store consultant had recommended a $600 or $700 remote. Mike, also, saved us money on out wires and the mounting rack over the big store. The big store was selling me wires longer than needed and they had come to my house so they should have known better. Mike knew what he was doing. He did a perfect job. I didn't realize how much time the work might take and had to leave my husband to get the ending directions from Mike. My dear husband is not tech savvy but Mike explained everything so that it could be understood. At the end of the day tv and soundbar were perfectly mounted, all wires hidden and totally organized and a universal remote that we understood and were able to operate. We saved money. We could be happier. Thank you, Mike Haas! We were so happy to find, you! This was a far cry from the Christmas that we got a new tv system and at the end of the night my husband could not figure out how to turn it off and finally just unplugged everything from the wall. LOL

I had done some remodeling that resulted in wall removal and elimination of shelving that held all of my home theater gear, amplifiers, receiver, CD player, Roku, cable boxes etc. All of that gear needed to be installed in a closet and televisions located in several different rooms in my house needed to interact with that gear. After getting a somewhat confusing and very expensive quote from one of the area big box stores, I called Mike Haas at Digital Plus, based on reviews I had read on Angie's List. Three days after that phone call Mike was onsite, listened to what I was trying to accomplish, explained to me some options and got everything re-connected and my smart remote controls installed within a matter of hours. When the installation was complete he then spent time reviewing how to operate everything. Mike is extremely knowledgeable in what he does and very professional. DigitalPlus will be my go to for any future home theater, networking needs and would not hesitate to recommend his service.

I recently moved to a new home and needed work to improve the home wireless network and also to set-up a media room. After checking Angie's List, I requested two proposals for identical work. One proposal was over-the-top expensive and far beyond anything that a normal homeowner would ever need; as well, some of the needed equipment in the proposal was marked up significantly beyond what I could obtain on my own. Then there was Mike at Digital Plus. He provided a thorough review of my needs, suggested equipment that made sense, and provided a clear and thorough quote for a LOT less than the other competitive proposal. He spent about 9 hours at the house doing a very thorough and professional job, answering my questions and confirming that things were as expected. At the end of the day, everything worked as promised and the bill was almost identical to the proposal with only one clear deviation caused by an unexpected complication. Mike is a professional and did a great job for a fair price.

Mike is very professional and is extremely knowledgeable about TV and audio system set up. He called before he arrived to give me the "heads up" on what time he would arrive. He corrected many errors that The Geek Squad had done and explained to me, in detail, how to work the system. It was important to him that I understood how to work all the different options on my system, from watching TV to playing music on my iPod on the stereo. The TV that I have in the basement was originally mounted too high on the wall, and he lowered it and made it right. And, he set up my system in the basement that I could not use due to a faulty set up. Mike said that there are many people who can set things up to get them to work, but they don't know how to set things up correctly. I think that statement encapsulates the wonderful job that he did for me. I give Digital Plus 5 stars!

The serviceman was very friendly and professional. My husband is pretty handy but we have two small children and I wanted to be SURE our TV was mounted safely, so we called Digital Plus. He was on time and very professional and courteous. He put the TV in fairly quickly and explained everything he did. He was even able to hang from the mounting bracket to show me how much weight it would hold! I'm confident that it will stay safely where it belongs after that! He was also very considerate to clean up all the dust and dirt after he was finished. Excellent service!

Both Mike and colleague Adam arrived at the scheduled time. Both were dressed professionally and wearing Digital Plus marked attire. I have had a lot of contractors at my house recently and its nice to know who is ringing the door bell. After a short introduction and briefing on the services Mike and Adam went right to work on the installation. They both worked in tandem saving time and kept the job area clean during and after the installation was completed. Even though I thought I was just getting the tv mounting services, Mike and Adam went beyond to make sure the TV was functioning properly and that all of the picture settings were set up for my needs. Payment was simple and a receipt was generated instantly. Both Mike and Adam were friendly and social during the process. I was very pleased with Mike's professionalism, workmanship and low pressure approach. He was very willing to work with me on specific items i needed his expertise.

Called initially to set up appointment with Mike, who gave me estimate. He was very personable and patient and answered all of my questions. On day of install, Mike arrived right on time and got to work. The TV was to be mounted over a fireplace--not my idea--the electrical and cable hookups had already been installed there. After the work was completed, Mike cleaned up his work area--not a speck of dust remained even though he had to drill into stone facade. He set up my channels (I had "cut the cord" to cable months ago) and also checked to make certain the TV was connected to my WiFi properly. Overall, a very good experience. I would definitely call on Digital Plus again.

The job was to pull out an old projector replaced with a new one with better resolution. Mike did an outstanding job. He came on time and he did a thorough job throughout. I was extremely impressed with the quality of work. He also took the time to explain the operation. He cleaned the area after the job and left the place very clean. Mike is a consummate professional and extremely competent. I do recommend him for any media related (TV installation, media room) work. I am confident that you would be very pleased with his work.

Ran all wiring for tv and sound bar and hooked up DirecTv box and blu-ray player. After install, went thru and completely set up all the electronics. Amazing job, very professional, and cleaned up liked they were never there. Would highly recommend!! Thanks guys!

Mike and Adam mounted our tv and was able to hide all the satellite wires. They were on time and did a fantastic job! It looks great. I will definitely recommend them.

Mike with Digital Plus was amazing to me. Your average electrician or computer guy was never able to help me. I built a custom home 6 years ago and had it prewired for Internet, TV and Sound Systems but never could use it properly because I could not find anyone that really knew how everything could work together until I ran across Mike with Digital Plus. Not only did he have a plan he also cleaned up the mess of wiring from all the other trades that left it like spaghetti which is now neat and organized. I could not be happier with the end result. We use the sound system 10 times more then before because Mike figured out a way to make it easy and practical. The TVs now have Bluray and Internet capability. He also helped us install some wireless WiFi stations and a Doorbell unit that communicates with our telephones in the house. Mike was punctual, professional and talented in his field that is not very common to find...

I can't overstate how pleased I was with Mike. He was on time, explained details well, did what he said he would, and when he was done mounting the TV, he went out of his way to make sure all my digital/audio-visual gadgets were hooked up correctly and worked as they should. As I feared, we did encounter a problem with my wall, which is an exterior wall, but Mike had a perfect solution that avoided a much more costly and difficult option.

Timely, polite, knowledgable

Mike Haas arrived right on schedule and went to work. He did a great job getting the 2 TVs set up, connected to components, and adjusted. The TVs were positioned on existing entertainment consoles. The wire management made a big difference. Mike was very pleasant to work with, and I would highly recommend his company, especially if you decided to do wall mounting of the TVs . He is very knowledgeable and will help you avoid expensive mistakes. I would much rather work with someone like this than the technicians sent by "big box" stores. Digital Plus is the type of company that justifies being an Angie's List member. Only downside - Digital Plus normally does not work in Illinois, so there was a $50 trip charge. Still worth it considering the quality of the work.

I have used the company 3 times now. I have purchased equipment from them. One technician came out and completed the job in 4 hours. He is very knowledgeable and efficient. He has great craftsmanship and was good at hiding all of the wires. I had no problem contacting the company and they are very accommodating.

Mike ran some difficult speaker wires in an inventive way that had not occurred to me in the months I had thought about the project. Involved running some wires through the attic and installing some 'floating' speaker brackets. Also provided some input on other things I needed done in my home.
