The guys we dealt with were Dennis and Steve and they were terrific to work with. At one point the repair took a little longer than expected and they called and asked us if we needed a ride anywhere. We will definitely use them again!

Service was professional and quick; the mechanic that worked on my car (Steve) was really helpful afterward and provided his honest assessment of the state of the car. He said that even though it had the original struts and they should have been replaced 50,000 miles ago according to factory service guidelines the suspension was fine and didn't need service. This trip earned my trust and I'll definitely be going back for any service I need done.

Great service, they called me with an accurate quote. I had same day service. I would use them again

1) The a/c service was done professionally - the Freon and dye were added. The car was brought back to check the leak in the system and they said there was a very small leak in the compressor - but recommended that no repairs be made as the leak was very small. 2) Replaced the front and rear stabilizer bushings. The vehicle was brought in on a Saturday and they were able to get the parts and install the parts and have it out of the shop by 3 PM that same day. They checked the alignment and it did not need re-alignment after the service. They also rotated the tires at no charge to me.

They were very honest and straightforward. There was some effort to find some other things that might have been wrong.

The guy told me that the place next door, Bavarian Enterprises, is the best BMW mechanic in the city, including the dealers. I appreciated the honesty and will definitely giv Roy's a try when I need other work done.

I was in a rush to have four new tires installed on my Acura TL, plus I was experiencing a shudder at certain speeds and while braking. They installed the tires one day after I called ( had the tires shipped there by tire rack) , and because they forgot to check the brakes, they picked up my car from work, delivered it back to me there, fully repaired, so I was safe on my drive to see my daughter at college. Fantastic!

First of all, Rich & Dennis were great to work with, both were friendly and professional. When I requested synthetic oil for the oil change, they warned me that an older car like mine--1999 Camry--often leaked this synthetic product since seals, etc., often loosen over years of usage. Their warning impressed both my husband and myself as neither of us knows that much about the nuances of car maintenance. Roy's also did a check of belts, hoses, etc, and give the car a clean bill of health. In addition, they replaced a blown fuse that had reduced my radio to little more than a dashboard ornament. All this, for less than $28. Although Roy's isn't located near my house in Creve Coeur, I plan to continue to use them for all my auto maintenance issues. (So does my husband.) At last, I think we have found someone we can trust to deliver quality service at a fair price.

I would recommend them. Their prices are very reasonable. They have good quality, they know exactly what they are doing. I know that I can go their and get a fair and reasonable price. They are knowledgeable.

I love them. The biggest thing about them is that I feel like they are very trustworthy. There was a time a long time ago where I went in to have two things done and when they finished the first one of the two, it sort of fixed the problem so they called me and said that I don't really have to do the other one yet if I don't want to, which they didn't have to do. I would have never known the difference so that was very honest of them. In fact I'm taking my car there tonight.

It went great! I don't see how my experience could have been any better unless they bought me dinner.

Dennis provided a quote for the work over the phone. With an option of two different water pumps, he recommended one based on his experience with Jetta's - I've never had a service advisor discuss choices in engine components with me before, it was very refreshing and demonstrated his knowledge of the work to be performed. I had researched the error code and the maintenance work I wanted performed, Dennis agreed and worked my son's car into their tight schedule. We were kept up to date on their progress, they were able to complete the work ahead of schedule which greatly helped us. My son called as we were caught in traffic trying to pick up the car before closing, and they cordially offered to stay until we were able to make it. The price was exactly what we had discussed. Steve, the owner's son-in-law, talked with us about the work performed, and reminded us not to hesitate to call if we had any questions or experienced any issues with their work. Roy's ranks at the top of my 40 years of having cars serviced around the country!

Roy's Auto Repair and I agreed on a plan for the complete evaluation of all systems on my 2003 Subaru Outback, including determining what was causing a whining noise when I accelerated. By that afternoon, they called with a detailed, priced estimate for the six items they determined required service and/or replacement, at a cost of $1,200. It was extensive work, but Roy's mechanics had it finished in a reasonable amount of time. They called regularly to keep me updated on their progress, and to thoroughly answer my questions, and discuss alternatives. The final cost was even a little less than the estimate. I am 64, and have dealt with many auto repair facilities, including dealers. This experience with Roy's Auto Repair, in Manchester, MO, was by far the best, most professional, most customer friendly, and most fairly priced automotive diagnostic/repair service I have yet to encounter. ,

I got the next Monday morning appointment to drop off the car, to my liking. They were very busy that morning and so I agreed to leave the car overnight with them. Got a call arround noon explaining the work that needed to be done, I was much releived that it was nothing big and the estimate that they quoted was also very reasonable. I was expecting the car back next day but received a call a little before 7:00pm that the car was ready. I decided to pick up the car next day. They are very honest about the work that needs to be done and the pricing is also fair. Did I tell you that their hours are very convenient, 7:00am to 7:00pm. Will I go there again - anytime I need to.

They were very good people, very nice and excellent. They couldn't fix it so they recommended somebody else that might be able to and even drove the car down there for me. They went above and beyond.

We were experiencing tons of issues with our 2004 Kia Sedona and so got quotes from both the Kia dealership and from Roy's. Our initial contact with Roy's was for a diagnostic test to determine what-all was wrong with the vehicle, and I feel that the money charged for this service (less than $20) was very well-spent. After going over all the issues they found and hearing about how their findings compared to what the dealership found, Dennis said they were willing to work with us on the pricing since we came to them through Angie's List. Music to my ears! Since I was also impressed with the way Dennis treated my partner and I (respectfully, and with no condescension or BS that I could detect - despite the fact that we are two women who clearly know next to nothing about cars), we decided to go for it. We dropped the vehicle off on 6/14/12 for them to look things over one last time and give us a final quote. We had a set amount of money put aside to spend on the repairs, so I was overjoyed when Dennis said they could do the work for that amount - even though it was less than they had initially quoted based on the diagnostics. We gave the green light Thursday afternoon (late), so they began the work the next day (Friday, 6/15/12) and were ready for us to pick it up on Monday (6/18/12). Not only is our minivan running MUCH better these days, but our bill was for exactly the amount we had been quoted - with tax and everything. We would definitely use Roy's again for future auto service needs!

It went well. He tells you the truth about what is wrong. He sends emails with coupons to save you some money.

I went by Roy's to discuss the work I was wanting done and to find out how much it was going to cost. I knew a timing belt was going to be expensive. They were very polite and provided me an estimate. I later called and made an appt and then took my car in and work was done as promised and was ready at the end of the day. I asked them to take a look at the belts/hoses and the transmission fluid; they said it was fine, did not need to be replaced.
