Darrin arrived right on time. He couldn't find a place to park due to snow removal, but he was very nice about the situation. He explored options for getting to my place, and finally found a spot. When he entered my place, he put on plastic covers on his shoes and then proceeded to ask questions about the leak I was experiencing. He did an initial visual inspection and then identified several possible causes. He then began investigating each one, using an effective process of elimination. Ultimately, he was able to find the source of the leak inside the ceiling space, brought in the tools and materials he needed to fix it, and replaced the pipe. When he completed the work, he gave me the name of a contractor I could call to repair the ceiling hole. I appreciated the fact that he explained what he was doing every step of the way. When I asked him about a couple of other plumbing issues I was concerned about, he was happy to check them out and assure me that all is fine. Darrin was very professional, knew what he was doing, and seemed to genuinely enjoy his work. This is the second time I have used Norblom. And the service this time was just as great as the first time. I have recommended this company to all my friends who have needed plumbing work done.

AMAZING - we had Jim come out twice to our house we recently purchased and just go over a few issues we had. He went way over an above and explained everything about the plumbing of the house. He helped identify a couple of problems we had and provided us solutions. In addition our toilets were working poorly so Jim ordered the parts and came back out and fixed our toilets. They do everything right - on time, professionally, get the job done right. A pleasure to work with. So glad we found these guys now we can just use them whenever we have a problem with the confidence it will be done right.

They were very quick to respond. They were at my home 2 hours after call was placed. Diagnosed quickly and correctly. Cleaned up after service performed and price was reasonable as far aas most plumbing work I've had done. Very impressed and will use the next plumbing issue I have.

Time spent one and half hour , cost $250 to install a garbage disposal and I am the one that provided the disposal . also when scheduling I mentioned I was referred by Angie list but the plumber did not know that and gave me $12 discount ..wow

Came back from being out of town to a flooded basement on a Sunday, called roto-rooter and they came out and it was going to be $1k+ for them to even look at what the problem was. Looked on Angies list that night found norblom and they came out on monday morning to check it out. They quickly identified that there were tree branches in the pipe, brought in the machine and fixed it for $140 (including replacing one of the plastic tops that the previous owners had glued to the ceiling. They were super professional, very trustworthy and I will absolutely be using them again in the future.

The first plumber reduced the number of tank bolts from 4 to 2 for no apparent reason. As a result the bowl leaked at the floor. A second plumber worked to fix the leak but it came back quickly. Norbloom came in March of 2013 after more than a year of living with the leak. Since we were not in a position to replace the lead bend or the entire bowl at that time, which by then was the only way of getting back to 4 bolts, I asked them to try fix the leak as best they could. They did the best job they could with the current bend and just two bolts. There has been no sign of a leak for the last 18 months. They gave me a good price and included a senior citizen's discount. Subsequently they did another job for us, replacing a supply valve and line and installing a new fill valve in another toilet in our house. I would have done this job myself but could not separate the old supply from the fill valve. I knew if I called Norbloom they would come out quickly and provide superior service. They came, did the work efficiently, and once again gave me a good price with a discount.

Prompt, professional. Took away the old toilet. Perfect installation.

Positives: easy scheduling, good communication about timing, seems knowlegeable about issues and gave good explanations; carefully measured before putting a hole in the adjacent wall (got it perfect) and did not make an opening larger than was necessary for access (much appeciated) Surprises: rounding an hour and a half time to 2 hours; sawing through a tile (and not mentioning it) when the point of going through the adjacent back wall was to avoid damage to the tile ; replacing chrome pipes with plastic in a pedestal sink (I've never seen a pedestal installed with plastic running from sink to wall) First visit: Called because a pedestal sink in a main floor bathroom had a blocked drain; a makeup cap fell in and got past the stop bar for the drain stopper. On first visit,the plumber called (before scheduled time) to advise running a bit late. He looked at the sink and then removed the chrome pipe into wall (he replaced this with plastic.) There was a large clog with grimy liquid in the removed pipes, but he was unable to clear the block and recommended return visit to access pipes through wall of adjacent room (bathroom wall was tiled) and basement if necessary. He also gave the option of having the drain guy come out, but explained why this might not be the best option. I scheduled a follow up visit. Invoice shows: truck arrival 1:39; invoice completed 2:39 and total time 1 hour. Labor charges $177 (168 with Angie's list discount) and no parts charges. Second visit: Called in advance of scheduled time as he was running ahead and wanted to know if early arrival was ok. Arrived at 12:30, had all pipes replaced and connected and water running through the pipes at 1:30 and left the house just before 2:00. He had to access pipes by going through plaster wall in adjacent room and did a nice job measuring to get proper placement and keeping hole size small. Sawed through tile in the bathroom leaving a 2 inch cut line, which I only discovered after he left. Clean up on second visit much improved over first. Gave a good explanation in response to my concerns about cutting in to pipes in basement. Invoice shows truck arrival time 12:30; invoice completed time and total time were left blank. Labor was billed at $337 ($320 with discount) and parts $63.11.

They fixed the water pressure and it is fabulous in the shower. The water heater had started to leak so we replaced. It took about four hours for the shower and a couple hours for the water heater. The gentlemen that completed the jobs were nice and communicated well with us.

The upstairs toilet in my rental house had been leaking for some time, but had rapidly become much worse (in a disgusting way). Norblom put me on their waiting list and was able to send a plumber over the same day I called. Jim did an excellent job and was very polite and professional. I have no idea what the going rate for plumbing is, but there were some complicating factors and he was there working on getting it just right for 2 hours. The bulk of the cost was labor, the charges for supplies seemed very reasonable.

Extraordinarily professional. Arrived early. Understood the issues and explained the solutions very clearly. It is a difficult task to go through all of the details and to find a clear solution. Chad was exceptional in helping to solve all of these problems. Norblom Plumbing should be commended for having such an excellent staff.

The plumber explained that to get to the faucet he would need to knock out some of the plaster ceiling (older house with a basement plaster ceiling.) Instead of that he suggested leaving the old valve there and instead installing a shut off valve at another place on the pipe. When he was finished he explained how to operate it. He also suggested putting the screw which is removed during the winter when the water is not in use into a plastic bag. He said it was very easy to lose and that new ones don't always fit.

Jim showed up on time and evaluated our various jobs we wanted done. He gave good ideas and suggestions on what would make the most sense. Really appreciated his help in figuring out best approach and ways to save some money while accomplishing our plumbing needs. Overall very pleased with results and would use Norblom again. Front office was also very good at communicating and scheduling

They were prompt and professional. We got a good explanation of what was to be done. As we live in an older home, some code work needed doing, and they explained it very well. We had a third issue come up this fall, and they were busy, but gave us a list of good people to call. We will call Norblom again with any problems.

They were the first place I called. They just didn't have the availability to do delivery until like the next week. Their pricing was fair. I really like their plumbers, their technicians. I thought they were polite. They were on time. Their cost seemed to be pretty reasonable. I've never had to call them back to fix anything. Everything worked the way it's supposed to. They're just really nice guys.

We had purchased a new gas dryer from Warner's Stellians who was suppose to arrange a service provider (from Metro Gas) to do the gas hook up---unfortunately they did not arrange it and Metro Gas could not perform the service until the following week (which was really not acceptable). Therefore I called Norblom because they were top on Angie's List (and family-owned) and upon answering, the person was able to schedule someone to come out in 1/2 hour! They gave me a 2 hour window, but he arrived at the beginning of that window, which was wonderful. He assessed the situation, told us he needed to extend the gas line to meet the dryer and recommended replacing the vent to meet code. It was all done in 50 minutes and cost about what Warner's Stellian quoted for just hook-up alone. I was very happy with every step- from the efficiency of scheduling, to the quickness I could get an appointment, to the promptness of the arrival, to the work that was ultimately done. Great job, I will definitely use this company again.

Price was very competitive. Choose them because they had scale through Angie's rating and they ended up being more cost efficient then some of the smaller companies with less ratings. Daren was super friendly and someone I would trust leaving home along with my spouse in the home. Would definitely use them again!
