The entire process was clearly explained during initial meeting for the estimate. Very happy with our finished floor.

We had JB's install new maple flooring in a 1300+ sq. ft. area, new maple stairs, and refinish the kitchen hickory flooring to match the maple in the rest of the house. We chose them because of Angi's reviews and how clear, specific, and accomodating they were through the bidding process. They were great to work with. They accomodated our schedule preference, and did the work as scheduled, on time. They worked with us to find the wood we wanted, and helped us decide on the finish (we chose the three-coat water-based Bona finish), by actually finishing some scrap wood in the water-based Bona and an oil-based finish so we could see the difference. They did an excellent job of sanding our old kitchen floor and finishing it to blend with the new maple in the rest of the house. There was very little odor in the house when they finished.

John and crew, Don and others, did a great job. Everything was done as promised and completed as promised. No surprises, no problems. The floors look great. This job is the second one done by JB's Wood Floor Maintenance; the earlier job was also first rate.

It went great. We had hired JBs Wood Floor Maintenance back in 2013 to refinish our living room, dining room and one bedroom. For that job, we got three estimates and chose JBs. Because JBs did such an excellent job, we didn't bother getting anyone else's estimates.

John and his crew were excellent. I like how up front and honest he was about the whole process and pricing. We went with the water based finish. It dries quicker and less chemical smell. The covered everything so the dust was minimal. The floor looks amazing and we are 100% satisfied. John/JB Floors are an excellent value for the high quality of work they do. I would definitely hire them again.

Anthony not only installed a beautiful new floor with meticulous attention to detail, he took extra steps to fill in spaces on the already existing flooring, resulting in a match between old and new that exceeded our expectations. JB's did an excellent job on both refinishing our maple floors (112 years old) and installing a new floor on our 1st floor remodel. Their service was prompt and they did excellent work in addition to cleaning up after the daily work was done. There also was no surprise in the price. While JB's was not the lowest cost bid I received, I do believe you get what you pay for. I would hire them again for any future floor refinishing or installation project.

John Sagstetter and his JB Wood Floors team really know their stuff! They have done a lot of wood floor install and finishing for us over the years and I trust their expertise. I was headed out of town and needed someone to come to my house, pick up our stair treads and risers, and pre-coat them prior to having them installed. This was all needed on short notice. They were able to fit me in over the Christmas holiday and get the job done. They delivered great product and then once installed, they filled a gazillion nail holes and did the final coat of poly. The stairs look FANTASTIC!! Why go with JB Wood Floors? Let me tell you my bad experience with a competitor of theirs: About 18 months ago, we were getting ready to move into our new house and we needed floors installed and refinished and JB wood Floors was booked at the time we needed them done, so I FOOLISHLY decided to go with a competitor, Unfortunately, this other company did a terrible job of finishing, with all kinds of streaks in the finish. When I had the company owner come back, he just made excuses for why they looked that way and didn't fix anything. A JB Wood Floors team member came out to finish the stairs and saw the finishing of these floors done by this other company. He was shocked at the poor quality. He said he knows why that happened (due to a bad product) and that if JB had done that they would have fixed it immediately. Live and learn. We will get JB Wood Floors to come out to our house and redo them at some point because they get it done right! They also know which products to use and they stand behind their work.

J'B's did a great job. Came over to do a quote quickly and talked about best options for my case which ended up saving me some money. Scheduling was a piece of cake. They showed up on time and got it done well within the estimated timeframe. The guys working were super professional and friendly. It was pretty amazing how there was little to no dust in the house after. Most importantly, the floors look great! Highly recommended.

JB's work was excellent. John's communications were always clear and professional. His team kept to their schedule exactly. The floor turned out beautifully, and the finish exactly matches the previously refinished flooring in the hallway. The patch turned out so well that you can't tell it's not original. When the job was finished the team left the house completely clean.

We had JB come out to give us a quote on refinishing our floors - part engineered hardwood and part real hardwood. He was very thorough and explained all of our options and delivered a quote very quickly. We hired him for the job and we could not be happier with our like new floors!! JB was very responsive and professional throughout the entirety of the project.

We hired JB's after buying a house and we wanted to get hard wood flooring to replace existing carpeting, and re-sand some existing hard wood to match the new. We got estimates from a few companies and JB's estimate was right in the middle. After meeting with him and reading his reviews, it was obvious he was the best choice. His crew did a great job and was punctual and professional as well as personable. The transitioning of the wood that they did between the existing flooring and the new flooring came out perfect - you can't tell a difference. I have to apologize that it's taken me a little while to write this review, but everything went great and there have been no issues.
