We thoroughly enjoyed working with Home Transformations and the owner of the company, Kurt. We chose the company because of price, Kurt's attention to detail(evidenced by the questions he asked and the information he provided with his bid)and the fact that he was referred by someone we knew. We have small children and wanted to use products that seemed as safe as possible. Kurt was very easily able to help us achieve that goal. We were immediately impressed by his foreman's work ethic. Kurt coordinated work schedules directly and well with the hardwood floor company doing work at the house. He helped us from a design perspective in one room, providing his thoughts on how to unite the more contemporary-feeling room with the rest of the built-in-1924 house. The window trim they added in the room turned out beautifully. He was also ready with color suggestions when we needed them. We did make some changes to the original scope of the project-adding in additional work. We found that Kurt was quickly able to provide us with estimates of the cost for the additional work and then do the work. Kurt managed my expectations throughout the project and in the end, the bill was what I expected(actually slightly lower)and I was very, very pleased with the finished product(and notably, I'm a pretty particular person).

He met my time schedule and I was able to rely on his expertise in a difficult refinishing of woodwork project. He managed my expectations and gave me options of how to proceed. When the house revealed some difficult problems, he stayed and did not change the price due to the extra hours he put in to complete the project. The resulting work of paint and refinishing is beautiful.

When i called kurt i left a message and he returned my call right away setting a bid for the fallowing week. When he came over we showed him the area's we wanted painted and some minor cracks worried about. We told him that we would like to set up an appointment where his men would be able to complete the job quickly and he delivered. The job only took three days and the group of men who came in to my home took good care of my belongings. This could have been a lengthy stressful project but Kurt's crew took care of everything. They really do know their stuff.

Unfortunately, the funds did not become available to schedule work with Kurt. He was by far the most professional, meticulous and caring contractor I have had the opportunity to meet. The professional presentation of his estimate left no question as to the detail he would pay to the work that was to be done. No question he is at one with his work and those with whom he works. There is no question that he would be first to be called should we be approved to have the painting done.

Home Transformations did an excellent job and they performed their work in a professional and courteous manner. The crew arrived on time, worked hard and diligently while they were on the job, and were respectful to caregivers at my mother's house. The owner, Curt Meyer, kept me well-informed of the progress and went the extra mile to find and order shutters to replace the cracked ones. When we realized a communications error regarding painting the dormers on the house, Curt quickly got the crew out there to paint the dormers as well. I was so impressed with his and the crew's commitment to customer service and satisfaction, and would use them again without question.

We chose Home Transformation to paint our home because of Kurt. His emphasis on meticulous preparation before painting suited our desire to avoid painting again anytime soon. It has been five years since they did the work on our 1928 Tudor style home and it still looks great. In addition, his crew was on the job until it was finished, paid attention to detail and regularly spoke with us about what they were finding. Communication with the Kurt was easy and he kept us updated on the progress of the job. Home Transformation cleaned up the site every day and we enjoyed having the crew on the job.

Great-they were on time and took 2 days to complete the job! They re-sheet rocked and sanded the walls going up the stairs.

They were very attentive and willing to help with our color choices and went above and beyond in that aspect. The workers were extremely pleasant and nice to have around. I would highly recommend them.

I called them on short notice after another contractor couldn't make it. They responded that day and completed the work the next day

They are very quick when they are painting, but we had to work with my schedule and their other jobs. We were in no hurry and they were careful to cover shrubs ans flowers.

It went pretty well. It was clear that this company is in demand. I needed to call Kurt to check in and make sure that the work started when it worked for us. At the end of the project, things trailed off for a couple of months while we waited for the company to complete the front stoop and window boxes and to re-scrape and paint several windows that wouldn't close. They did eventually get around to all of the jobs, though.

STELLAR! Overall, it went great. Very professional, on time, clean, great communication, prompt call backs regarding questions. The work sight was respectful, clean and quiet for the neighbors. The management was definitely professional in how they handled everything. Flexible and reasonable for the customer as well.

This was a perfect painting job--they were very careful with everything--even my plants, very thorough and detailed, and helped us choose paint colors. In the end, the house was truly transformed and looks fantastic!

Kurt is a pleasure to work with as is his crew. They hand cleaned areas of the house that the power wash didn't clean entirely. The crew was punctual, work very hard and did a first class job. They cleaned up very well. It was a very positive experience and I will contact Kurt to paint the interior of the house when we are ready to do.

The service provided by Home Transformations was extremely professional. My initial initial call for an estimate was returned promptly and we scheduled a walk-through of the work to be done. We had a specific time-frame we wanted to work in and HT was able to work with us to accommodate our schedule. HT did a wonderful job working around our family's schedule, timetable and arrangements. The team of painters who came for the job were timely, courteous, and did a fantastic job. They cleaned up after themselves daily and the final clean-up was well done too. It was a pleasant surprise to have our job completed one day earlier than anticipated. I would recommend Home Transformations to anyone who plans to have a painting project at their home. I hope to work with them again in the future.

Kurt and his crew are fantastic. We hired Kurt in the fall of 2007 to do the first painting project. Kurt was very responsive and great to work with. We were so happy with the first project so we hired him to paint more of our house and our basement (they also removed some old wallpaper for us) in the spring of 2008. We were under a time crunch to finish the basement project and Kurt went out of his way to accommodate our schedule and get the job done. I expressed concern with living and working in the house while painting was going on and he recommend we use low-VOC paint, a nice & "greener" alternative. I really appreciated the suggestion and the results. We also really liked his painting crew. They worked on all of our projects and did a great job. Super nice guys who worked very hard. We would definitely hire Kurt and his crew again and highly recommend them!

Our experience with Home Transformations was excellent. Kurt Meyer (company owner) came out in person, within a day of us contacting him, to provide an estimate for the work. Mr. Meyer was punctual, professional, and very helpful assessing our needs (color, type of paint, etc) without trying to sell us anything we did not want or need (such as unnecessary prep-work of the garage). We received the bid in a very timely manner; the estimate was much more reasonable than the other two companies that we requested bids from. Mr. Meyer indicated that he would be able to start the work in a month or so, as we had expected due to the busy time of year, but then called back a few days later to say that he could begin the job the next week. Mr. Meyer's crew showed up on time, was friendly and professional, completed the work in two days, and did an excellent job. Mr. Meyer himself came back once the job was completed to ensure that we were satisfied with the work, which we definitely were. I look forward to using Home Transformation's services again.

Kurt rescued us. He came in and was available at a moments notice. He referred us to some other folks that were able to repair some work that was shoddily done. Kurt is terrific at communicating and leadership. He is really on the ball with saying when he is available and what he is available to do. We would definitely use him in the future.

Friendly, prompt and accommodating.

DAY 1 Power Washing. DAY 2 Prep Work/Begin Priming. DAY 3 Finish priming/beginning final paint coat on siding. DAY 4 Finish siding paint/finish trim paint. The Home Transformation crew consisted of Gabino, Dan, Augustine, and Juan. These guys were amazing. It was interesting to observe how the four moved as a team and rotated through the different tasks almost effortlessly. Kind of hard to explain, but it was like watching a ballet. :-) Also....they were very cool about allowing me to slip-in here and there to replace bad wood I might have missed, etc. The job went without a problem. The couple of concerns I had were addressed on the spot. The attention to detail was very high. Maybe only one or two small over-sprayed areas. Clean-up was perfect. It has been three years almost to the day....The quality workmanship of Kurt and his Team still shows through.....looks as good as the day they completed the job.

THEY WERE GOOD, THEY WERE ON TIME, THEY WERE REASONABLY PRICED, THE CREW THAT CAME PREPPED AND CLEANED UP VERY WELL.

Contract was signed in late April and communication of project start date, last week in July, could have been better. But this minor criticism vastly outweighed by the outstanding job that was done. Extremely thorough in removing fixtures and prepping all surfaces. Painting was meticulous and included several final rechecks of the whole paint job to catch tiny touchups they thought were needed that I didn't even notice. Everything taken down, like flag pole holder and plant hooks were not only rehung but painted to match the house. The whole crew was outstanding -quiet, polite professionals who seemed to enjoy and take pride in their work. One of the best experiences I've had with a home improvement project.
