The job went very smoothly. Communications during the job left no assumptions and they were done with the job exactly as they estimated.

We are very happy with the finished product. You can likely find someone cheaper, and for some projects that is probably fine. We felt the work was worth every penny. The windows look excellent and the work was completed quickly and professionally. We had several phases of work performed on our windows over the course of the summer, which left us with some difficult sequencing in the busiest season for various window-related service providers. Kurt was clear about how he might fit our relatively small project into his schedule without making any promises he couldn't keep. This was especially valuable to us. We've had service providers over the years occasionally make it sound as though something or other would work out and then have to backtrack when they couldn't stick to it. So, when a forecasted stretch of rain looked like it would prevent some of his outdoor work from moving forward, he let us know a few days in advance that he'd be by with members of his team if the rain came to pass. It did, and we are very grateful that it worked out. His team members were courteous and clean, and they did excellent work. It's very likely we'll hire them again at a later date for the two pieces of work we decided to skip for now.

I cannot say enough good things about Home Transformations, Inc.. We hired them to paint the exterior of our home. Not only was the price we were quoted fair and included an excellent warranty, but Kurt did everything in his power to see that our job was completed by a specified date. (No small feat given their busy summer schedule.) The entire crew who worked on our project could not have been nicer and took great care at the end of every day to clean up the job site. They were very respectful and kept me well informed on our projects progress. In addition, our house looks great! They completed the project on time and there was no change to our quoted price. I contacted Kurt because of the great reviews he got here on Angie's List. For me, my initial meeting with Kurt is why I decided to put my trust in him and his crew. He has been in the business for a long time, he is knowledgeable, not pushy, and very kind. The work done by his crew took about a week. The crew did a great job of taping, covering, painting and getting up so high on the roof and ladders. Dangerous! Kurt came by to check up on things, which my husband and I really appreciated. We also appreciated the crew coming back to do touch ups when we requested, no problem. I love the new paint color and would hire again. Thank you, Kurt, Bladimir, Diego, Ronnie and the rest of the crew!

Home Transformation( Kurt) was professional and very timely in providing me a detailed quote and then scheduling the work. I needed to get the ceilings done as quick as possible so I could have new hardwoods installed. Kurt had his guys on the job till 9pm to finish all the work in one day. Result was excellent and I am already committed to have them back for the walls once the floors are installed. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Transformation for your painting needs.

Kurt’s team did a fabulous job staining our back deck trim. The weather significantly hampered getting started, but at all times Kurt kept me appraised on where we were in his queue of small projects. Equally impressive is Kurt always answered my calls immediately, came over to our house several times and personally reviewed the project with his staff at the start of the project. I am very pleased and will use Home Transformations, Inc. in the future.

Despite weather problems (rain) the job was completed in a timely manner. This included working a Saturday to finish the project.

Great. Kurt and his team did high quality work on our home that was built in 1873. There are 5 different colors and a lot of detailed areas that needed extra attention. Kurt was very responsive from the beginning of the bidding process through completion. We have been getting compliments from neighbors and passersby saying how great the house looks.

Very well. I had Home Transformations clean and paint the deck in August, 2014, and would hire that service again in future.

REBUTTAL TO PROVIDER RESPONSE: Let’s clarify a few things that Kurt is choosing to ignore. 1) We were clearly delighted with Kurt’s crew. They worked hard and were reliable. We had no idea in the fall, when we sent the email Kurt mentioned, that the paint would be peeling six months later. Had we known that, we would not have paid over $9,000 for the 75% of the work that was done. 2) The contract required us to complete all carpentry repairs, which we did. There is no reference to us being responsible for building a painting platform. Kurt asked us if we knew a contractor who could do that and we said we did. Nowhere does the contract state that this would be our cost. If Kurt wanted us to do that, he should have included that in his bid. 3) Chronic peeling should not mean the paint job lasts less than 6 months. Past paint jobs of our home have lasted 5 to 7 years. 4) BUYER BEWARE. We have never encountered a contractor who refuses to return calls and essentially walks off of the job. Kurt never told us what the issues were or why he would not return phone calls. His response here is the most we have heard from him. Highly unprofessional.

Absolutely fantastic - from the initial quote to the finished job, Kurt and his team were just awesome. The job took a little longer than anticipated (due to weather), but the guys worked around my schedule to get it completed. Cannot recommend them enough.

I had just purchased the home and was hoping to get some painting finished before we moved in. This was in the summer when painters are typically extremely busy. Kurt was able to take advantage of some rainy weather and had painters to my house on very short notice. Everything was done before we moved in and looks great. Definitely one of the easiest contractor experiences I've had. They're not cheap, but they deliver high quality and great customer service. I fully expect to hire Home Transformations for painting projects in the future.

Kurt was very responsive and professional. He made an extra color consultation trip out to help me pick the right color for our kitchen and dining room, and stain for our deck. I was impressed with the patching/repair his crew did to our walls and ceilings -- they were really thorough, and the result was beautiful! They were equally thorough with our extensive deck. They were also really respectful moving our furniture off the deck, and left everything inside and out very clean/tidy. I was surprised when I found they had come to do the deck as I didn't get a heads up beforehand, but it was earlier than expected so it was a good surprise. (It's also possible I missed a text from Kurt, as he was otherwise responsive and my phone is known to drop texts every so often.) I would definitely recommend Kurt and his crew, and would hire them again. Right in the ballpark to slightly lower than other quotes I received. I picked him because he took the time to tell me about his crew, and what set them apart with the care they took and how conscientious they are about not missing a scheduled day.

They were really good. I found the price a bit high, but they were professional and willing to do anything we asked. They even came back to fix anything they missed.

He was awesome. The workers he sent in were awesome. They're basically painters. I'm going to call them in again I think to do some work for me. It's not my first round on this stuff. I'm old. They were very polite, didn't make a lot of noise; nothing. Everything was cleaned up when they left. Kurt, I thought, was very reasonable on his pricing. They were just really nice to work with. They were awesome to work with. I've had many people in and out through moving around over the years. They were just so respectful and it was just nice, really nice. I'm going to use them again. They are very busy. It's an old house so I wanted them to preserve as much of the woodwork and everything as they could. So they did an awesome job. Kurt came out to give me the estimate and then he sent 2 workers out and they were basically the only ones here and he came back to inspect it before they were done. So there were 2 people from his company out here who I know he's worked with for a long time because I told him in the end I told him how wonderful they were and he said I feel very blessed to have them working for me all these years. He's a kind and humble person and I really do appreciate that.

It went beautifully! The guys were friendly and answered any questions I had and they did a fantastic job. Best of all, was the clean up! I could hardly tell anyone had been there! That made me a happy camper!

Kurt called the night before letting me know they had an opening to do my interior as the weather was going to rain-out another job they had scheduled. He and his crew arrived on-time and after a brief walk-though I went off to work while they set up. I arrived home to a completed paint job with everything back in it's proper spot. They were clean and polite and did a fantastic job. They even came in under the original quote. I would definitely hire them again.

Kurt and his team were wonderful to work with! The initial job quoted was to have our kitchen cabinets painted and after having some trouble finding a company willing to guarantee the work on old cabinets, we finally found Home Transformations! We were impressed with their 5 year guarantee, but the work exceeded all of our expectations. We added painting the hinges, walls and ceilings after they had started the cabinets--they were more than willing to accommodate. Kurt and his team were professional and responsive. We are very happy with the work!
