I’m frankly at a loss how they have such glowing reviews given we experienced a lack of communication, improper initial installation that resulted in a lengthy delay of interconnection, multiple improper repairs of the initial installation failure, failure to provide our warranty documents, and just a complete lack of good faith effort to identify, correct, and prioritize their errors as they occurred. For brevity, I’m only going to describe a few of the larger issues, but I also have plenty of documentation from emails, phone records and voicemails, showing numerous smaller issues occurring throughout the entire process. 1. Our system was improperly installed and failed its interconnection test with Xcel. This caused a 3-week delay in activation. They said they fixed it that day but no one could tell me what they changed… 2. …So I had to repeatedly ask our project manager to send someone out to make sure it was fixed. They sent an electrician on the morning of our 2nd test. He spent 4 hours working on it. It passed but… 3. …1/2 of our panels were not working at, and after, the time of the interconnection test. I discovered this the next morning when we weren’t generating our expected power. 4. Upon notification of our system problem, our project manager said they’d send someone “in a few days” to look at it. Really? After multiple installation errors by All Energy Solar it still was not a priority to fix. I had to track down a manager in their service department who did prioritize checking it out. Turned out the last electrician left a fuse out of the non-functional string. I hope our interconnection pass was legitimate, but I really have no way of knowing. 5. Our closeout meeting was never scheduled. I had to call and email to get it scheduled. At our closeout meeting I was told our warranty documentation would be emailed shortly. It’s a month later, I’ve asked for it twice and it still hasn’t arrived. 6. We were billed for equipment that was not needed. To All Energy’s credit they did notify me of the error, but it 6 weeks and multiple phone calls to actually get the money returned. Twice we were told it was in the mail only to have it not arrive because it had not actually been sent yet. I’m leaving out other details on scheduling errors, general lack of communication on everything, and other more minor but still concerning events that occurred. I was left with the feeling that they do not pay any attention to details, do not have any desire to proactively fix their errors, I have no faith in the quality of the install, and in general they were extremely frustrating and disappointing to work with. Consider yourself warned. I wish we had been before signing a contract with them.

Responsiveness I have wanted to have solar energy for my home since 1980. This year All Energy Solar made it happen and I am very happy with their work. I got quotes from three companies. After weighing multiple factors: cost, location, depth of experience, etc., I picked All Energy I had heard their promotions on MPR and that was also a plus for me. My installation was more complicated than some as I have battery storage in addition to solar panels. If you are getting batteries installed, expect a few more bumps in the road than for a straight panel installation. Not as many homes get batteries, so the process is not a familiar to All Energy and to Xcel. That being said, I am thrilled that I got the batteries. It will enable me to have power during a power outage. Current regulation requires solar panels to shut down during a grid failure for safety reasons. With batteries you can keep receiving power! I signed the contract in June and went live in mid October. It is a complicated process due to the involvement of Xcel. All Energy did a great job of communicating and setting expectations all along the way. There is a single point of contact in your project manager and that is helpful. My project manager changed mid project due to maternity leave, and that might have contributed to the complication of the process. My panels look great and the whole installation is working as promised. I love the app that lets me monitor my energy production and consumption in real time. All Energy also has a referral program which is very generous. So far two of my referrals got proposals, and one bought a system. I got a $500 check for the system that was purchased.They also have a program called instant solar rebate. It calculates how much money you will save from the date that you sign until your system goes live. I just got a check for $477 for my June-October savings. All Energy is a great company and I heartily recommend their work. GO SOLAR!

Beautiful! Of all the outfits I have had work on my house, these guys had the best planning and communication process of all. They kept us up-to-date every step of the way (and there are a lot of steps) with frequent communications (calls and emails) over the entire length of the project (about seven months for our situation). Bravo!

We had All Energy Solar install solar panels on our home in Harris MN, May 2020. I cannot say enough good things about the company. They were courteous, fair and considerate. When the project installation, scheduled for later in 2019 did not get installed in 2019, due to weather and scheduling, this delay caused us to miss the deadline to qualify for the 30% federal tax credit. All Energy Solar called in early January and volunteered to make up the difference and reschedule for a spring 2020 installation. I did not have to ask and I think a company that volunteers to make it right for its customer is a special company. Our solar installation has been operating flawlessly for the past three weeks and we are thrilled.

I was nervous about solar but very interested in making an investment in my home and doing my part for the environment so I did a ton of research. After experiencing some questionable sales tactics and receiving absurdly limiting contract proposals from other solar providers, I reached out to All Energy Solar because they had such great ratings and comments but I was still very cautious. The process from sales to finance to project management to install to monitoring has been flawless and honestly a pleasure. As of today, my All Energy Solar system was installed one month ago and has already produced over $100 in credit from my local utility company. Every person, policy, and product from All Energy Solar has well exceeded my expectations and I recommend them without hesitation to anyone interested in going solar!

my wife and I agree that this was the best major project experience we have ever had! We met Jarad to give us a briefing and provide an estimate - he was knowledgable and patient with our questions. Nick was our project coordinator and kept in touch regularly with updates and plans. The installation crew was exceptional - they called when they arrived, briefed us on the plan for the day and called again at the end of the day to let us know what they had accomplished and what the plan for the following day would be. Our installation was during the COVID pandemic and the crew was extremely respectful of all of the recommended precautions. The system is now up and running and we are extremely pleased with the entire All Energy Solar experience, highly recommended.

Update (for Quote June 2019-Oct 2019)- I’m updating this review and dropping from 4 to 2 stars due to some fairly disappointing followup experiences with All Energy Solar. I had asked several months back to get quote for adding additional panels to the solar system in preparation for buying and Electric Vehicle (EV). Xcel will allow you to add 250 kWh per month for the purchase of an EV without 4 months of consumption history. It was like pulling teeth to finally get quote (several missed commitments) and then it was simply a verbal one. The big frustration was that it also was ridiculously and prohibitively high. In followup conversations on the topic of this addition, the sales person clarified that they would not be able to leverage any of our existing hardware from the recent install due to Xcel. This wasn’t completely a surprise to me. The salesperson’s said it was high because there were still fixed costs that they had to account for and it wasn’t simply as easy as looking at the difference in # of panels. I of course understand there are fixed costs regardless whether it is 1 panel or 100. What they provided no reasoning for though, was that unlike our current system, no trenching was needed, no engineering study of the existing house/solar/electrical was needed, no new sun study was needed, likely no additional new wifi module needed, etc. I do understand that new engineering would still be needed to plan the new install, new parts, new permits needed, and the install itself, but the price STILL seemed completely out of line and made no financial sense, taking all of that into consideration. In the end, I’ve lost respect for AES, especially their sales side. Due to this, I’m no longer recommending All Energy Solar and will take my future business elsewhere. Original Install (May 2018-July 2019) Review- Overall I was pretty happy with the experience, but not without some stumbles. It took quite a while from the time we first talked to the expected estimate for install (approximately 10 mos). Things in general progressed slower than I would have liked throughout the process. They were accommodating in pulling that install estimated date in after the initial estimate was communicated to me (based on my request), and ultimately due to hail damage, I was forced to push the timing back out. My project manager was very willing to help every time I needed it. There was just one point (the day the installation was done) that I was completely left in the dark as to next steps that was a bit frustrating. I didn't realize that it would be slightly more than a month before the system was actually turned on (largely due to Xcel, not AES) and another week before I could monitor it. I also didn't know on that day if it was on, and if there were things I was or wasn't supposed to do. Regarding the timing from install to the point it was turned on, this wasn't so much about the wait (I was getting used to that), but rather about the lack of communication beforehand on the next steps and the timing of those steps (but even when I was notified of that, Xcel took twice as long as AES estimated).

Professional project management and installation. Very happy with the result. The All Energy Solar crew were easy to work with. They handled all the permits and paperwork and installed ahead of schedule. I recommend them to anyone looking to go solar.

All Energy was great from start to finish. Our sales rep explained how it would work, including costs and rebates. When our many questions were answered and we could clearly see that solar would pay for itself while reducing our carbon footprint dramatically, we signed up and were assigned a project manager who kept us informed every step of the way. Everyone from the electrician to the installers were friendly and professional, and they seemed to be really pleased to be doing their work. Most importantly, our panels started generating lots of electricity as soon as the snow melted, and after four months we've produced almost 25% more power than we've used (which is credited to our account to cover less-sunny periods). I highly recommend looking into solar from All Energy (visit [*** Link removed ***] for lots of great information and to set up an estimate appointment); but don't wait too long as some rebates may be reduced in future years.

Working with this company was a joy. They are totally committed to working to reduce greenhouse gas by the use of solar energy. They are well organized, provide the customer with accurate information with which to make a decision, and communicate extremely effectively. We are extremely pleased with their business model and all of the knowledgeable, courteous and professional employees.

The installation was excellent! And we have access to a software program that monitors how much electricity we are using and how much the panels are creating. We watch this website frequently now. We feel great that we are reducing our carbon footprint and it's very affordable!

All Energy Solar finished installing and setting up our solar array a few weeks ago and we couldn't be happier with the results! When we met Reid at a home & garden show in February we could never have imagined having a functioning solar array 5 months later. All Energy started by laying out the rebates and financial implications of owning solar in an easy to understand manner. I was pleasantly surprised that they had teamed up with a credit union to finance solar installations over 10 years, breaking down one of the major hurdles to residential solar! After we applied for our rebate, Kristen helped the process move along in a very timely fashion through the end of installation and inspection. They handled all the paperwork and interfacing with the utility, so there was minimal work on our end. Now, on a sunny day in July, we are producing about 3 times as much electricity as we are consuming! I would highly recommend sitting down with someone from All Energy Solar if you are even remotely considering solar for your home. It could be much closer to reality than you think.

All Energy is a very professional organization made up of people who really enjoy and believe in the work they do. I was very impressed with the process, which is long and requires some patience. Beginning with the sales experience, my least favorite part of any hiring process, was informative and professional. Nick began the process and he completed it with us today. The installers were here for two days, were punctual and professional, as well as friendly and knowledgeable. We had our panels put on our garage so they had to trench over to the house to connect to the electric panel. They did so cleanly, replaced the dirt evenly and even put grass seed over the trenched area. All appointments were kept and a rep from All Solar met with each inspector. Their electrician did an amazing job and even impressed Xcel's people. All in all, an exceptional experience!

The installation was delayed about 1 month from what I was originally quoted last fall when I agreed to the installation. The installation when very well. The crew was friendly, courteous and did an excellent job. The system has performed as expected since fired up EXCEPT for one problem. I have a home automation system at my house and the solar panels were injecting electrical 'noise' into my power lines which resulted in devices in my house turning on when they weren't supposed to. I informed All Solar Energy about the problem and after researching on line offered a relatively low cost solution (about 1 hour of their electricians time to install filters to block the 'noise'.) . They refused to do anything. I think this shows a lack of concern for any problems a customer may have after they have gotten their check. I would not recommend them because of this.

To be totally honest, we e-mailed them a bunch of times. We got the quote although it was later than they said they were going to give it to us, and then they never got back to us. They were finally on time for our appointment, and they seemed really dedicated to what they were doing. They had a lot of kind of interesting devices with them on an iPad. They used a little jargon with their speaking, so it was a little hard to understand for laymen who don't know anything about solar power. They seemed to know what they were doing, and were actually excited to move forward with the process, but the fact that they never got back to us made that feel not so good. I don't want to have people working in my house that don't actually reply. I don't think they were bad, and I just think that maybe they don't have enough support for all the work that they have. I don't think it is very professional not to call. I will probably not have them come out again just because I am now wondering how much dedication they would actually give to us.

This is now the second solar system that we have done with All Energy Solar. And again they did a great job. I have no complaints and would recommend them to anyone that is looking to work with a legitimate solar company. Our biggest worry when we first looked at doing solar was if the company had experience installing solar equipment. Our second criteria was responsivness. And third was quality of the work. From day one they met all the expectations that we wanted.From the first meeting we knew that we were going to work with them. And then once the salesman called me back on the day and time he said he was going to I really wanted to work with them. And finally we asked for a few references and places that we could drive by. Without blinking an eye the salesman provided me with a long list of satisfied customers and said that every single customer of theirs is a reference. I didn't believe him at first but once I contacted 3 different people from their reference list he may not of been lying. Everyine was extremely happy and loved working with them. As well as us.If you are looking at going solar I would recommend All Energy Solar. They have now done 2 solar projects for me and are also working with my boss at my company for a much larger project. THey meet all the requirements that a good solid solar contractor should.

Last year, we had some work done by a trusted electrician we've used before, who asked us if we ever thought of installing solar panels. We hadn't given it much thought before, but agreed he could refer us to a company that installs solar panels. Later, All Energy Solar reps left us a couple of voice messages and sent us some emails, but we did not respond right away. They did NOT use high-pressured sales tactics. Upon our invitation, a rep came to our house, performed an assessment, and gave us the estimated costs and benefits of installing solar panels and provided various options. When we wanted more details to help us make a decision, a couple of reps came to our house, at a convenient hour for us, and answered all of our questions. After we decided to go ahead with the project, All Energy Solar virtually took care of everything for us. They handled all of the paperwork and contact needed with the energy company and city officials. Since our solar array was the first of its type in our city, various government agencies needed to be petitioned and approvals sought so we could complete our project as designed. All Energy Solar did everything needed. They even offered to visit our neighbors to inform them we were seeking a building variance from the city. We declined their offer and visited the neighbors ourselves. The solar array has been operational for a little over two weeks and All Energy Solar continues to be very helpful, communicative, and supportive.

My husband and I have been looking at ways to make our home more efficient. We met with All Energy Solar at a recent Home and Garden show and had them come out to our home. They did a full measurement and checked the shade from the trees. We knew once the rep left that we were going to do it. After we checked with a couple other companies we decided on working with Brian at All Energy. After about a month they started installing our panels. The installation took 2 and 1/2 days. The work was neat and tidy. We actually sat and watched our system being built on the 2nd day. The guys worked really hard and were sweating a lot but were all very nice and friendly. On the 3rd day the electrician and Brian came back and finished a few touchups and walked us through the system and how it worked. Our big hurdle in making our decision was the initial expense, but the rep showed us real numbers as to when we will get our money back. We will have our system paid for in 10 years and from then on we will have free electricity.Our last electric bill was $8. We found our way to cut our energy bill down and thats what we were going for.We enjoyed working with All Energy Solar and would recommend them to friends and family.
