They were great! Ben in dispatch, especially, helped me with arranging the drop-off and pickup on the same day when I was ready to have them unloaded. The driver arrived on time and efficiently placed the boxes in the reserved spot so the unloaders could get right to work.

Their box was only 7 feet on the outside dimension and 6-1/2 feet on the inside dimension and I have cabinets that are 6-1/2 feet tall so it would not fit into the box. Otherwise, I liked everything about them. They were very good and very helpful. They offered a discount. They really wanted my business and their products are a little bit different in that the boxes are smaller. They suit a different type of need but they were very responsive in working with me to get a good delivery date. Because their boxes are smaller, their prices are somewhat more reasonable and they were willing to discount the delivery fee. They were very professional and very helpful with phone contact. If the box was big enough, I definitely would have used them.

Not a great experience for us. We had two boxes delivered to our house, we loaded with garage and basement items and then had them stored at the Smartbox location for a few months before delivering to our new place. FYI a semi 18 wheel truck will deliver the boxes with a giant heavy forklift moving the boxes around. This didn't work well for us based on our narrow street location. The forklift lifted tar from the hot road and spread it like peanut butter over our cement driveway. And even though the boxes were parked on our lawn for just a few days, the load weight and chemicals? to treat the wood of the box killed all the grass underneath. I can' t recommend putting anything of significant value in these boxes. They are constructed with 2x4s with coated canvas on top. We didn't have any leaks but had some broken items. I couldn't imagine moving good furniture in one of these as the box gets bounced around by the forklift then bounced down the highway on the semi. Another big issue for us was communication. When ordering the boxes we called a 1800 number which takes you to a national ordering center. The pricing quoted ended up being much different than the actual costs as the local MN company does the billing. A lot of finger pointing, he said, she said between the national company and the local folks. We were charged $65 to deliver the boxes $139 to store two boxes per month and $95 to redeliver to our new location. Also they have only one email address for all the people working at the local company. The person scheduling delivery used her personal email and then left the company. I wasted a few key unpacking days emailing and calling this woman with no response before finally hearing from the company after leaving a message for the owner. Using the box method to move was just an OK experience for us. I wouldn't recommend this company to a friend. There are many other box moving companies to choose from including Uhaul, PODS, Door to Door etc.

I am happy with them. They are good and I have had no problems. They are very prompt and good with their customer service.

The Smartbox was delivered the day I requested. They called me beforehand to confirm the delivery then the delivery man called me to tell me he was on his way. The box was 8' x 7' x 5' and covered with a velcro weatherproofing blanket (my words). It worked great. We filled it over the weekend and called to have it picked up the next day. Again, no problem. They called to confirm pick up and away it went. When our remodel was finished, I called and our Smartbox was delivered in 24 hours. After we emptied it they pick it up the next day. While the box was at our house we had dramatic thunderstorms with torrential rains. I was worried it might get wet inside. Nope. Dry as a bone. All in all a great experience.

It turned out great. The charges included bringing the box, taking it back and also rental for a month. I needed it really fast and when I called a young lady on the phone said that they would deliver two boxes and they came and delivered it immediately. She was very professional. The gentle men who delivered it were great. I have nothing against the company. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future.

They had good communication and explained the process along with the costs involved. They were reliable and on time.

The cost for a year was $75/month and we did if for a year. From 10/2007-10/2008. When they delivered the storage unit to my house the first time, it was pretty rickety and the door wouldn't close when I put the lock on it. When we had them bring it back to take some things out, the same thing happened, door wouldn't close. When we decided to get rid of the storage expense, we went there to get our stuff out and since we were not coming back, they were not to pleasant with us.

I found the company really easy to deal with. The boxes were clean and worked exactly as promised. We were able to load them at our leisure and then they took them away and kept them for us until we moved. I made a call and they brought them to our new driveway and then took them away when empty. Very easy and efficient.

Box was delivered to street in front of house (with permit arranged by vendor). The boxes and packaging materials I had ordered came inside the box. I was able to email with the vendor and they responded to questions quickly and efficiently. Once I loaded the box up completely, I arranged for the box to be redelivered to new house. They were able to come the next day. Finally, once box was unloaded they came to pick it up. I was charged for time the box was not in use through a lease, a delivery charge of about $60-70 each time it was delivered somewhere. The final pick up was not charged.

We were happy overall, but there were some glitches. We relied on their estimate for the total number of boxes we would need and we were short a box, which incurred extra delivery charges. They made two mistakes. They first did not pick up our boxes by the time we were supposed to vacate the property of our old house. Second, they charged for redelivery when that was supposed to be included in our total fee. Both mistakes were rectified immediately and the office was accommodating and professional about fixing things.

I found the overall experience with SMARTBOX very professional and efficient. I thought they were very customer friendly and easy to work with.
