I called on Thursday for an appointment and they made one for me for Friday between 11am and 1pm. I asked for a call about 1/2 an hour before they would arrive so I could head home from the office to meet them. I got the call about 10:30am on Friday that they would be there in around 1/2 hour. I went home and got there about 10:50 and Mark was waiting for me.He did the service, tuned up the door and it is working fine now. I couldn't have asked for an easier transaction!!

I was having a couple different problems with my garage door opener. When I called The Garage Door Guys, they were able to schedule my appointment quickly. The technician showed up on time and I described the different things that were going wrong with the opener. He proceeded to work on the opener and eventually determined that a part was needed. Unfortunately, he did not have the part in his truck. He was going to have to come back another day--UGH, my garage door opener still wouldn't be working and I wasn't very excited about taking more time off of work to come home to meet someone for the repair. Luckily, he able to come back the next day, a Saturday and put the part in. He showed up on Saturday at the time we had arranged, installed the part and all seemed to be well. Unfortunately a few days later when I went to leave for work, the opener started malfunctioning again--one of the same problems I had before the technician visited. I was pretty irritated by this point. I called The Garage Door Guys, explained everything that had happened up to that point. They offered to have the techinician come back right away, which I declined, stating I wanted someone different involved. They obliged my request and even sent a supervisor out to check on things. The opener has been working like a charm since that 3rd visit!

I would definitely use these folks again. Prompt, curteous, forthcoming with price and service. Took out my 30-year garage door opener and put in a new Liftmaster. Serviced/adjusted the tracks/rollers. Gave me an extra 1/4 horse motor upgrade since it was on-sale for them wholesale. It works beautifully so far, and I have no concerns about the quality of the work they did. When people answer their phone, show up when they say, and do the work at the price they quote - that's a rarity these days and worthy of an "A"

Spring broke on Saturday. I waited until early Monday morning to call Same Day Service number. Techs too busy so I set up a Tuesday morning appointment with a 9:00 to 11:00 window. When no one came during that 2 hour window, I called company again. Tech showed up after that call. Was told on phone that there would be a 10% discount for Angie's List, but tech only subtracted $9.00. Mark did satisfactory work and I would probably call them again, along with other companies.

They were prompt but I thought they were a little pricey. I probably would use them in the future but I would have to price things out first.

We've used them before and he's very good. The price was reasonable and fair. I think he was very efficient in getting the work done and he obviously knew exactly what the problem was. He also did it quick which was nice.

Very well. The Technician did not have the part on hand but offered to go get it and come back to finish. Since it was the end of the day we agreed he would come back in the morning at 9am to finish, and he arrived right on time. He was very efficient and professional.

Pain free experience. Our garage door went out on a friday morning. I started making calls to different companies in the area. Most did not pick up the phone and I was required to leave a voicemail. Garage Door Guys picked up on first ring. He gave me an estimate over the phone (which turned out to be the exact amount out of pocket that we ended up paying). We made an appointment a few days later to have the garage door replaced. The workers showed up on-time and had the job completed a few hours later. I did get quotes from several other companies over the phone and all seemed to be right in the same price range.

Excellent service and price. Installed lifetime waranty springs and upgraded door rollers. Mark the service tech for the South Metro area is very experienced and professional. He did a great job. Mark even did a quick tune up on our other overhead door............no charge

Would use them again. Better price than others listed on site.

We called on 12/12/12 to set up an appointment and he said he could come on Saturady between 10 and 12 o'clock. He did arrive on time and did the work - we were very pleased.

very quick response to phone call, gave estimate over phone, came out assessed job and returned two days later with proper materials to fit an unusually tight situation. Did a great job installing and informing me of what was done and did a great job adapting to the situation. As a very picky consumer and a longtime carpenter/contractor, I was very pleased and would highly recommend.

Great job. Also recommended new cables after showing me they were frayed. This was an additional cost but was money well spent.

Overall, a good service provider.

The Garage Door Guy people did a really nice job. They were really responsive. A miss on both our parts was that this was a carriage door with a lot of external decorative hardware. When we made the arrangements they said nobody needed to be there when the door went up so I went to work. Mid-morning they asked when I would be home so I could give them instructions in terms of where to putthe hardware. So I ended up putting the hardware on myself, which I agreed to. It worked out ok but I didn't really know what I was getting in to. It was pretty scary taking a half-inch drill and sticking it through my $2000 garage door. So I think that we could have made better arrangements, but I think that what they did was pretty good apart from this mutual oversight. What they did was just fine. They really did a good quality job. I feel good about having done business with them.

They were prompt and efficient. They dealt with a very difficult installation creatively and reasonably. Their visit was on time and the owner was particularly responsive. He took responsibility for a decision made by his installer that was not satisfactory and corrected it immediately. The price was very competitive. I have absolutely no compulsion about recommending him.

They came, replaced the entire garage door and both broken openers in less time than estimated, and under budget. It was refreshing to have honest, punctual professionals come and work on my house. I will use them again but probably not for a very long time. They do excellent work!

I found The Garage Door Guy , Dean Beireis, through Angie's List. It was late Saturday afternoon and although a garage door spring was broken and the door couldn't open, the car was outside so it wasn't an emergency. I wondered if I should wait to call Monday, but went ahead a tried the phone number and was impressed to get a very helpful prompt phone call back with an agreed time to fix it on Monday and a bid. Monday Dean arrived on time, fixed it very with obvious expertise. At his invitation I watched. When I was younger I replaced the same kind of spring myself and could appreciate his skill. Also he lubricated and performed a tune up on both doors. He would be my choice if I need this kind of service again and I recommend his for this service for others.

We called on a Friday early evening and they came out on Saturday. The technician was efficient and repaired the door for the price quoted. The person who answered the phone on Friday could diagnose the issue over the phone.

He got here and fixed the door quickly and it has worked great since it was fixed.

The spring broke one afternoon, I called that evening and the serviceman came the next day and took care of everything. When we came home the door worked!

I didn't feel that this was an emergency, so I filled out the form on their website giving as much detail as I could on Friday morning. Though the use of angle iron appears to be contrary to the warnings in the opener's Owner's Manual, I fully expect to pay for the repair. It is now Monday evening and I have not had a response to my web request.
