The guys showed up right on schedule and quickly replace the 2 bad openers and installed the third (new) one. They didn't use the mounting bracket I had purchased (used their own at no extra charge) and so I can take that one back for a refund. The rollers were all replaced and the doors adjusted, plus we had new weatherstripping installed on all 3 doors. Everything's working great.

Went great, he was prompt and polite. I thought he would replace the opener, but he said it still has life in it so leave it alone until it goes out. I'm always surprised when a business doesn't do the bigger more costly repair or replacement. Thank you!

My garage door opener stopped working. I called the Garage Door Guy and they sent someone out the next day. The Guy fixed whatever it was that was broken. Now my garage door opens and closes just like the good old days! They would have came out sooner if I had needed them to.

Went well, responded soon after I left a message. Were out there in a couple of days. Got things working and left new keys at house.

My garage door was making a lot of noise when it opened and closed. I called the company and they offered to come out the next day. Since it was not an emergency, I picked a day and time I would be home and they accommodated. The person came on time and assessed the problem. He indicated there was no safety concern, just a noise problem. He replaced the rollers which did solve part of the problem. He also adjusted the opener to make sure it was working properly. The service call took less than 30 minutes.

Called to get an estimate on a garage door opener. Had to leave a message but Tim called back shortly and was able to give me an estimate over the phone. I accepted and he even tried to squeeze me into the schedule that day! That was not necessary and I was able to schedule later that week. Mark, the installer, arrived on time and did a great job. He was done in about an hour and went through the operation with me. Cost was as estimated...excellent service!

Over the phone Tim was able to pretty quickly able to tell me what he thought was wrong with the garage door and give me an estimate for the repairs. He had someone out in less than 2 hours. Mark replaced the 2 springs on the main door with lifetime warranty springs with high cycle counts. He was in and out in about 30 minutes and also oiled some of the door parts and checked on the motor chain. Awesome work!

I called first thing in the morning to get the garage door springs replaced. They said they had time that afternoon but that the technician might be able to squeeze us in yet that morning. About 30 minutes later the technician showed up and 30 minutes after that, the job was done.

My 20+ year old garage door has been serviced by Ridge Door all those years. When I called them, Metro Door answered the phone. Metro bought Ridge and still operates under the old service model - they give you a four-hour block of time and you wait for them to arrive. A "first call" slot for the morning or afternoon was impossible, regardless of how far out we went. They seem to operate their business for their convenience, not their customer's. So I called The Garage Door Guy off Angie's List. I got an 8:00 am appointment two days later. Mark arrived exactly on time. After he assessed the problem, I asked how long he thought it might take. He estimated no more than 2 hours. I made plans accordingly. He was done and cleaned up 15 minutes early. I thought the price was fair and appreciated the professionalism.

We had a garage door opener that quit functioning on one of the coldest days of the year. Since the opener was several years old we figured we would need a new one. With this in mind, I called the company the next morning at 8 am and got a quote for a new garage door opener over the phone. I asked about a discount for Angie's List customers and received a discount. Two of the workmen arrived on-time at 1 pm that same day and had the new door opener up and running along with a new outdoor pad within an hour and a half. They left the area clean and took the old door opener with them for disposal. I have had them replace another door opener before and have been very satisfied with their work. I originally found them on Angie's List and would not hesitate to recommend them to members.

They responded very quickly. Promised to be at our home between 2 and 5 and were there at 3. I only asked to have the photo electric eye replaced but Mark, the workman who responded, was extremely thorough and efficient. He not only replace the eye, he bolted both eyes onto the rail. They had been snap ons so now they are affixed permanently. Mark also went around and lubed everything that needed it and replaced bold and screws that were missing. He checked everything from top to bottom and did not charge an arm and a leg. Mark was very professional and was easy to talk with. I will use them every time.

One of the rollers which ride in the track of my garage door broke, making the door wobble insecurely when raising and lowering. I called The Garage Door Guy in mid-morning, and we scheduled work for early afternoon. The service man called a bit before arriving (as I was told he would do) within the scheduled time period. He was very personable and appeared quite knowledgable. He replaced all of the original, really cheaply made rollers with much better quality ball bearing units, checked and adjusted the door, etc. He was happy to show me the difference between the original rollers and the one he installed.

I spoke with Dean who was very knowlegable and helpful. He was able to give me a couple different senarious to fix my issue and prices to go along with each, wich were quite reasonable. I was able to schedule someone to come look at the door the next day. Unfortunately it turns out it is an electrical problem rather than a garage door issue.

Called on Friday due to a broken spring - Mark came out on Saturday to fix it. He was very nice, informative, and had the garage door fixed within 30 minutes. Our door originally only had one spring, he changed it to a two spring system, and replaced the rollers for $250. Very reasonable price, quick service, and an all around great experience. Thank you!!

Called on Thursday due to broken garage door spring - Mark was here Saturday morning. Mark was very polite and informative. He changed our door from a one spring system to a two spring system and changed out the rollers - all within a 40 minute time period. Great experience, quick service, and best of all.....my garage works again.

Initially, it was a very poor experience with them; but they made it right. Overall, it was okay. The first guy who came was very nasty. The guy came in and I came home from work, I came to the door and he said that he wanted to speak to the man of the house. He didn't even fix the door. My husband called the owner of the company and he was embarrassed that they had really high volumes of work and they had to subcontract to that guy occasionally. He has been hearing some bad feedback about him. He sent someone else, a regular employee back into my house and they fixed everything. Then they charged me. It was a good experience; but the first guy was terrible. I had a bad experience, but they rectified it; so I would use them again. When I called, they rectified immediately and were very apologetic.

The Garage Door Guys came out the next day, right on time and fixed the problem within the hour. They did a maintenance check, replaced the rollers and lubricated the tracks so it opened smoothly and it was a lot quieter. I was able to use the coupon they provided on Angie's List and saved some money too. Thank you..

Very pleasant personnel beginning with the person who answered the initial call. Darren, the technician was pleasant and efficient and knowledgeable.
