WH Security

My experience with them has been very adequate. We've never had to use them other than to hook us up. One time, in the year or so that we've been with them, we didn't get to the box in time and they called. One time, the fire alarms went off and they called. I liked that the price was lower than the prior service that we had. They responded adequately the times that something came up. The thing that I like the least is that they're not quite as prominent as some. That doesn't mean they aren't good.

They've been really good and I have no complaints. We have them as our power company so I get my security bill on the same bill as my electric bill, they're a lot less expensive than their competitors in the area. We've been using them for about 5 or 6 years. I pay about $32 a month. In addition to the regular monitoring I have a heat and cold sensor in my laundry room so if it gets below or above a certain temperature it alerts the company and they contact me. So if my laundry room gets too cold I know my furnace is out and they'll contact me so I can get someone out here to find out why my room is getting so cold. I have an upgraded wireless sending unit. Usually burglars would cut a wire so I don't need a wire to send a distress call to them.

They have been okay. They are quick to respond and they call within 5 seconds. They check it to make sure that everything is working. I am pleased with them. I feel comfortable with it and I have not had any problems with it. We have been with them almost 12 years. I will continue to use them.

They are an electric company co-op and they also provide security. I don't recall what I paid.

WH Security has been monitoring our home for nearly 20 years. Recently when someone did break into our house - they responded immediately , calling everyone on our call list and when no one was available they sent the police. As a result we suffered no loss. When my husband finally got the message he returned home immediately . the police had been there but did not see anything amiss because the burglars had already fled; they reported it as a false alarm. WH called us and helped reset the alarm . They gave us the number of the dispatcher and advised us to call them and let them know that this was not a false alarm. The police returned and took a full report and consequently we did not have to pay the false alarm fine.

Very good response overall. The WH Security installation team was very knowledgeable and responsive to all my queries. Had an issues with one of the sensors and they WH team came out in the next few days to replace the sensor since it was under waranty.

Perfect. Salesman was helpful and didn't sell me more than I needed, Installation was painless. Came in and did the work in a very professional manner. Have been monitoring the system for a number of years and I have never felt the need to even consider using anyone else. Most recently, had them replace all the batteries and clean the smoke detectors and that process was also painless.

They are an excellent, responsive provider.

They installed our system about 7 years ago. It is still working just fine, although it looks like we will be required to upgrade to 3G technology pretty soon. Our alarm systems always works as intended. If we need help, such as needing to disconnect the system temporarily or make any changes, their tech support is very helpful. The only complaint I have is if you have any issues on the weekend or evening, it is nearly impossible to talk to a technician. But even then, when we had a malfunction on a weekend, they did manage to track down a tech, who talked us through the fix. When our alarm gets triggered by accident, they call us immediately to check that everything is ok. And I believe their price, of about $25 per month is quite reasonable.

They are responsive, conscientious. and reliable.

Very high quality installation and service. The sales rep and installation was exceptional. I requested all sensors be hard wired instead of wireless and they delivered. System options were programmed and tailored to our needs and allows access via the internet if we are not home. Exceeded service from ADT and others.

WH provided monthly monitoring at a VERY reasonable price. Their response (when we accidentally set off the system) was very quick.

It went well. There was a bit of confusion at first as to what they planned to do, but after that it went very smoothly. It did not take too much time and was exactly what we wanted.

They showed up late due to traffic. They did a good job looking around the house and gave us a quote for the system in writing. They were very professional and no pressure. I did feel some of their equipment costs were high, upfront costs, so we did not go with them. I would consider them again.

After a break-in we called three companies to get quotes and recommendations on a security system. We went with WH Response because they set up an appointment to have someone come out and take a look at the house versus trying to get most of the information over the phone The sales rep showed up on time. Presented his recommendation which we modified somewhat based on conversations with other companies. The agent was very agreeable to the changes. The prices were competitive but when we gathered information on the history of the price increases in the monthly monitoring fee, no other company came even close. We also talked to someone who has used WH Security for years and they had one very small increase. The person who installed the alarms arrived on time, was very knowledgeable about the best placement for the different types of alarms. He got everything installed within a few hours, helped set up the mobile service and made sure we knew how to operate the system. We also greatly appreciate the fact when we call WH Security for any type of question, a real person answers the phone. No phone tree to work through. Would highly recommend the company and will use them again should we move.

I liked their communication and competitiveness. I also liked their product presentation.

They are different from the other companies. You buy the equipment and they will install it free for you. If you choose not to use them you still own the equipment. You can go with anybody. Basically the reason why we used them is because we have been referred to them by several other people. We have not been broken into that explains why we like them. Their response was rapid and that pleased me. Until you have water in your basement or fire in your garage you really don?t know. The technician who came out was very neat, very clean and did a very professional job. I was extremely pleased with him. I would continue to use them in the future and would recommend them to my friends.

The sales agent for Wright Hennepin was late, he was not very knowlegeable, and he left us with an incomplete estimate. Also, the monthly monitoring fee that was quoted was substantially more than the company we ended up selecting.

My husband and I recently closed on a property we had been renting so we finally had the freedom to make some changes to the property, including upgrading the alarm system. We got the number for Wright-Hennepin because they took over for the service previously provided by Connexus, which the previous alarm system had been used with. I decided to call them after doing a little research and discovering they were local (I love to support local business when possible). We had a representative out within a few days and got an estimate, which was less than we expected, but would allow any upgrades we wanted in the future. The day of the installation the technician was there early, and took almost exactly the amount of time we were told he would. When he was done he took the time to explain everything, which the new system was far easier to use than we predicted. The next morning when our system was finally 'live' there was a hiccup with communication with our wireless communication 'cell', and they called us about it. They had a technician call us within minutes and talked me through resetting the cell (which was pretty simple). And everything has worked perfectly since then. The issue with the communication wouldn't have even affected our service, which was what really made me happy with the customer service. The system is so easy to use, and is one that we will be able to upgrade as our needs change. The best part is though they are based out of Buffalo, they have a large service area including the Anoka area, where we live. So even as a local company they are providing services that a lot of larger companies are, at a fraction of the price, with great customer service.
