Mayo Clinic - Rochester

.They were thorough; I received the correct diagnosis even though it was rare. I am in the course of the treatment now but have noticed much improvement. The nephrologist referred me to the pulmonary doctor and an eye doctor to make sure that I did not have auto-immune diagnosis. They do not bill me until all the insurance claims are in and settled

They are excellent. You can go there and you can get things done, you don't need to go back anytime for an appointment, they'll schedule you and they can get many things done in one day.

The appointment went very well and they were very thorough. They are prompt, the availability was good, I didn't have to wait. The staff was very kind and considerate.

Surgery went well. Recovery was quick and passion control was excellent. No follow up appointment was required and a courtesy phone call from the service was very nice.

I got insurance through work. My wife just had some appointments on and off for rheumatoid arthritis and some other things. We go every year for different things. We've had good results. It's not too much of a problem getting in. I never had any problems. They explain things well. We haven't had too much problem.

Mayo is amazing. Mayo practises medicine the way medicine should be practised everywhere. They have access to a lot of research. They sit down and take a lot time with each patient. They explain the research and all of the information to you so you can make a decision with your doctor. They are very good at explaining things in nice simple language. They make sure you understand everything and they are very, very good at explaining it. On billing they are very concerned with not overburdening the patient with payments. They work out a payment schedule with you that is very reasonable. I went to them, they were out of my network, which means I spent 30% verses if I had treatment in Sioux Falls it would have been 10%. 30% at Mayo equals 10% in Sioux Falls. They do things for less money. They don't over do tests. They do tests in the morning and have the results in the afternoon, there is no waiting days. They are so streamlined and yet you feel like you are in a small town atmosphere because they are very very friendly. They actually have a training program that teaches them how to treat patients well. Everybody from the elevator to the lab people, anybody that you run into has taken this training program so you alway have a friendly, positive experience at Mayo. They make sure of that. It IS definitely the way to go for medicine.

I can't say enough about these people; they follow their schedules through and are nice. They are helpful and friendly. I was referred by my primary care physician.

I am at the Mayo Clinic right now. The last time I went to Mayo Clinic, outside of right now, was in 2008. My experience with the Mayo Clinic has been excellent. I would say that there is no better facility than the Mayo Clinic. I would use their services if need be.

Mayo Clinic in MN is a little under nine hours from my home town. I went to Mayo Clinic to try and find a diagnoses. No doctors were able to find one, but they were able to confirm that I am the only case with this particular issue. Even though they were unable to find a diagnoses, Mayo Clinic did a great job. I was there for around a week, and they were able to schedule all my appointments within the time frame I was in MN. All the doctors, nurses, and staff were extremely professional. You could tell they loved their job. They all had a heart for their patients. There building was extremely nice and very clean. I highly recommend Mayo Clinic.

They are the best I've ever seen. All the doctors are on a salary, so they don't take rotations and never at any point I got a sense that the doctor wanted or needed to be anywhere else but talking to me. They are incredibly professional.

After a gall bladder attack in July of 2011, I was diagnosed with peritoneal cancer. I was sent to the Mayo Clinic. I have had 6 rounds of chemotherapy with major surgery after the 3rd round. On January 14th I returned to the Mayo Clinic for my third 3-month followup and I am still cancer free!. During my whole ordeal, not only did I receive the best medical care, but EVERYONE there was very pleasant, answered all questions and never once made me feel like they didn't have time for me.

The Mayo Clinic is the best organized group of doctors that I have ever had contact with . They set things up so good, there is almost no waiting time in between appointments. They are on time. They work very closely with two hospitals in Rochester and often, I will have a test in one of the other hospital but they give every kind the service imaginable. They just take wonderful care of you. As far as I am concerned, they are the best medical facility in the world.

I visited Mayo Clinic for my son's treatment for his skin cancer screening service. They are very thorough, they check us from top to bottom.

The experience was fine. She answered all my questions, got updates on medications picking and it was pretty straight forward.
