Hire a Crew

Description of Work: My parents had great service so I called Hire-A-Crew to move my house as well. That decision ranked right up there with all the other bad decisions in my life. I told the owner I needed everything moved because everyone I know have bad backs and what not and I have no one to fall back on. I even cleared it that my mom would be there when they moved my stuff into the truck. All the boxes were in the garage when they showed up. The two boys had the nerve to tell my mom that this was the easiest move they did all that week. Then, once the large stuff (minus one headboard) was loaded, they then told mom they packed everything they were hired for and left. I had to move ALL the boxes into my parents garage when I actually hired someone to take care of this!! Then when they came to drop off the heavy stuff at my new home 2 days later, the tallest boy whined about having to move everything across the yard. I won't even go into the tantrum he threw when he realized I wanted items moved upstairs! They didn't put back the legs they took off my couches and scratched my hardwood floors. They broke off a leg on my entertainment center. They didn't bother to set up the beds. Half the items I asked to be moved upstairs were left in my living room for me to move. The tall boy complained the whole time about how he only scheduled an hour for this move. The owner told me the total move would take 5-6 hours so I have no idea what the little boy was sniveling about. I paid for the 2 hours of work they barely did and told them to get out of my house. I spent 7 hours moving boxes back and forth from my parents' garage to my new house. When I called the owner to complain, he stated confusion because the boys told him they did everything they were told to do and they didn't understand what my problem was. I told him everything they said and did and all I got for a response was, "Well I don't like calling my crew liars." Really?! Well, I will!! Horrible service!!! I ended up paying a guy that showed up because he noticed I was moving money to move all the boxes and the stuff the first boys left upstairs. I could barely move from the pain at the end of the day. This random guy did more work in 1 hour for way less than two boys from Hire-A-Crew. It was really a shame because moving into a new house was supposed to be an exciting day for me and they ruined it.
