Install cabinet & wall oven microwave combo: Home Advisor sent me to Best Buy who contracted a plumbing & appliance company. I was asked to pay in advance. 3 days later they showed up and could not install the cabinet. They gave me another number to call for the cabinet but I got a voicemail and never heard back. I am waiting a full 2 days, being a holiday week, and if I've not been contacted. I will require a refund and will not use this disappointing 'service' again.

Excellent customer service procedure. I received several emails confirming the appointment. Then a call from Best Buy confirming and finally 2 calls from the actual installer. He was totally prompt courteous and neat in his work. He had the microwave installed in 30 minutes. I would totally use this company again! ????

I bought an over -the-range microwave from a competitor of BestBuy [HomeDepot] but they said it could not be installed. I was baffled as this was replacing an existing microwave. So, It sat in the box for 9 months. Finally, I called Geek Squad for installation. The customer service was excellent from scheduling the appointment to the reminder 2 days prior to appointment- and even the morning of the installation! Great communication. Edgar & Omar were on time. They were professional , careful and clean! . Although installation was a bit steep at $140, you get what you pay for. I got quality installation. I am happy!

I went to HomeAdvisor to find someone to install a gas wall oven. They recommended Best Buy as a company that could do the installation. I called Best Buy and asked if they install appliances that I bought from someone else and they told me that they did. I set up an appointment. Gave up an entire day waiting for them to come and no one showed. I got a call saying that the installer went to the warehouse to pick up my oven and couldn't find the order. I called them and after being on the phone listening to their menus I was asked if I wanted to leave my number and they'd call when it was my turn. I did this and forty five minutes later got a call back. It was an automated call. I had to wait another 45 minutes for someone to pick up. When they did, they guy on the phone said that they do not install anything not purchased at Best Buy. I said that I was told they did. He went through a lot of work to try to get someone to find out why I was told that they did. After an hour on the phone I was told that my case had been turned over to another department and that I'd receive a call within 24 hours. It's now been 36 hours and no call. I'm now one week behind in my project and still don't have the oven installed. Thanks HomeAdvisor! Thanks Best Buy! Everyone involved dropped the ball on this one.

Below is my initial response; today I raised to 3.5 from 0.5 stars. it took another couple hours with 4 different people and finally the local store got the installation scheduled (they already had my money, and HomeAdvisor did NOT respond back to me.) Had it scheduled for Tues, but nobody showed up, no calls, nothing until I spoke to everyone. Said would try to dispatch someone on Tues. Nothing. Nothing likewise on Wed. but finally Thurs afternoon, after another couple of days to get scheduled, Geek Squad finally shows up. But I'm raising the rating because the guys themselves were very professional, polite, and did a great job installing my 65" TV. That makes up for a lot, but am still unhappy that Best Buy put me through the ringer. And still, 20 phone calls, numerous emails later, I do NOT have a receipt nor an order confirmation from them!! old review: These guys are scammers!! Charged my credit card ahead of time, never sent receipt nor confirmation, and now I have spent three hours getting bounced around, talking to 7 different people, NEVER getting escalated to fraud dept, and then the last one just hangs up after getting transferred to them!! Nothing but a bunch of con artists here! RUN AWAY FROM THEM!
