The guy that installed my gas cook top was able to get new stove top in and showed me it worked. However, I just saw my hardwood floor in kitchen has some severe burn marks on it. I will need a professional to get my floor fixed. Not sure how he did it!!!!! He asked for a lighter to start gas stove top after it was in and I gave him one that had long valve. There was a rug on the floor that was also burned but not right where floor was burned so I can't figure it out. I didn't see the floor burn until I moved a basket that had stuff from under the sink in it. He left without even telling me about the the floor and must have moved basket to cover burn marks! The rug was in a pile with some other rags and stuff. I would like payment for damages so I can get floor fixed. I am tired of hiring people and then having to clean up their work by hiring someone else to fix what they screwed up or didn't finish!!. I want some sort of restitution - I am very upset since I can't hide these burn marks with a rug!!!!!!!!! They set an appointment of between 12 and 4pm. They left 2 messages to remind us to be there, so my wife took off of work to be at home. They had not showed or called by 4 pm, so at 4:45pm I called to inquire as to whether they would be here at all. They said we were next and that the tech was running behind. At 7 pm I called them again. This time they told me that the tech still had 2 people in front of us but they assured me he would be here that night. I retired to bed early at 9:30pm, still not having heard from them. They never showed, never called and lied continually about the situation from 4 pm and then again at 7 pm. How could we be next at 4pm then have 2 people still in front of us at 7pm? I paid this up front and it is now the next morning. Still have not heard from them. I dislike leaving a bad review for anyone, but this is totally unacceptable.
