Have not started yet, so I cannot yet judge the workmanship.

They explained everything and I mean everything. This was my first big project and I was very nervous. I ran into some major problems. Mike and his team immediately came and assessed the situation and offered solutions that worked beautifully and did not blow the budget. My kitchen is beautiful and very functional. I absolutely love it. My old kitchen was so ugly and we did not spend a lot of time in it. We now entertain and spend a lot of time in the very beautiful kitchen.

High quality work, very happy with our newly renovated basement. I would definitely hire them again.

We had essentially four projects completed by this team: deck build, gutter add, placing luxury vinyl planking in basement, and a kitchen backsplash. The work they did is top of the line. They pay attention to every detail. The deck is clearly the best deck in the neighborhood and I have not seen comparable work elsewhere! The downside is there were delays in getting project started. The time frame on completing the projects once started appears to be within normal range. In completing our deck, the tried some thing new to improve the look on the Fascia of the decking and while the detail is minor, adds to making our deck top quality. If not for the starting delay on the deck, this would be a full 5 star review.

Mike is friendly, professional, and great to work with! The rest of our house looks second rate compared to his excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail that was used when he installed our baseboards. His lifetime of experience has provided him with --tricks of the trade-- that far surpass the level of quality I have seen from other professionals. I highly recommend CCR services for all your remodeling needs.

Mike and Dale were both very professional and easy to work with. They helped with the bathroom remodel from design until completion. I have no reservations recommending them to any homeowner who needs a contractor.

CCR was reputable, on time, on budget, produced high quality workmanship with good attention to detail, and was a genuine pleasure to work with.

Mike and his team did a great job. The price was very reasonable for our bathroom remodel and it looks great. I was actually deployed when they did the project and my wife had a lot on her hands. Two years later we had two tiles start to get loose as the grout was starting to wear. Mike came back out and had one of his guys fix it like new, and he also redid the silicone around the tub. He also restated his education that we should clean it monthly and reseal as needed since we have very hard water. You have to love a company that stands behind their work and goes above and beyond like that!

We hired Mike Sohre of Creative Custom Remodeling to add a bathroom in our basement, gut and redo our bathroom on the main floor, put in a new kitchen floor. Can not say enough on how happy we are with all the work. Todd was here daily on time, worked hard and did an excellent job. Wish we could add pictures so everyone could see. With all the horror stories out there and this was the first time we had hired a contractor we were more then a little concerned. With CCR we were able to put all those concerns to bed. Would hire them again in a "New York Heartbeat" and have recommended CCR to friends of ours.

Mike and Todd were really great to work with. They always kept me up to date on what the next steps were going to be and kept the project moving a long. My bathroom is beautiful and Todd did a wonderful job tiling the shower and the floor. I also had my kitchen floor tiled and it looks beautiful. I had one issue they did mark up my hall wall but they went out an got the pain and fixed it right away. So it really ended up not being an issue at all. Mike was very patient with me while I picked out my tiles. I really love how the entire project turned out and I would highly recommend Mike and his team they were great to work with and very professional. I would use them again for sure!!!

It was very important to us to stay on budget and Mike Sohre worked with us to be sure we reached a contract that included all the aspects of the remodel that we felt were important. Although we provided the initial basic plan, he provided creative input and remodeling expertise to work through the details to our satisfaction. The 8 week project included wall removal, drywall repair, ceiling knockdown, painting, wood flooring, trim work, custom cabinetry, stone countertops, etc. The crew was timely and tidy and Mike checked in on the progress nearly every day to be sure the work was progressing per plan and to be sure we were happy. Mike was generous with his time in working through any questions or concerns along the way. All the work was completed to a very high standard and we love the final product.

Mike and his team did excellent work. He designed, built and installed beautiful kitchen cabinets and installed a tiled back splash. Mike at Creative Custom Remodeling is a 'top shelf' contractor.

Mike was honest and easy to work with. He has a great team. He installed new flooring, installed custom cabinets, and added a tile backsplash to our gutted kitchen. His team made the custom cabinets and installed the custom countertop. This was all done in a timely manner on schedule for a reasonable price.

Professional and high quality work. Michael was very helpful giving us various options for good use of space. We are very happy with the function and appearance of our remodeled bathroom. Not your average remodeler! Mike Sohre did an incredible job. His integrity, knowledge, attention to detail and excellence stand out above the crowd. After seeing his job on our bathroom remodel I find myself finding the flaws in other bathrooms he hasn't worked on. Very easy to work with, and I highly recommend CCR services for all your construction and remodeling needs!

CCR recently remodeled my bathroom. The contractors were very friendly and never left a mess. The workmanship was professional, thorough, and looks great! So glad I made the choice to go with CCR. Highly recommend them, will call again for our next project!

Mike Sohre, and everyone who worked with him were great! We had them remodel our main bathroom along with our 3/4 bath off the family room. Mike Sohre and the CCR crew completed a gut remodel of our master bathroom. A quoted 2-3 week project took 6 weeks to complete, and the final results were less than expected. The first time they stated they were finished, we were appalled at the sloppiness of the workmanship. The paint job was inadequate (only one coat applied in some areas), the tile work appeared unprofessional, and the finishing work was subpar as well. It had the look of a €œDo It Yourself€ job rather than that of a licensed and bonded contractor. We provided Mike a list of 21 punch list items that required attention. He sent the crew back and they made a less than energetic attempt to fix some of the items. It was at that point we realized they were not going to make things right. After the initial punch list given and the less than successful attempts to remedy some of those items, we felt that some of the finished work did not meet a standard that warranted full contract price. We attempted to negotiate an amenable final price taking into account monies already paid and the work that did not meet our expectations. Mike came by, took pictures to document the final product, and then proceeded to pull out State of Minnesota statutes pertaining to general contractors. He explained that taking him to court would never be successful based on what the state considers acceptable work. He also stated that his business partner is an attorney so he would have no legal fees. We were completely blindsided by this as there was no prior discussion or intention of taking him to court prior to this meeting. We simply expressed our dissatisfaction with the work and proposed a lower final price. He then told us if we didn'€™t pay him the remaining balance (now), he would charge us a higher price (that was never agreed upon) since he gave us a break on some of the additional work performed. After letting him know how disappointed we were with both his workmanship and business practices, we paid him the remaining balance. Once we started to use the shower, we noticed that our new exhaust fan would drip condensation back through the fan opening and on to the floor. They tried to fix it twice but with no luck. They ultimately blamed the problem on the fan but did not offer to return it, even though it was purchased by Mike using his contractor account. Mike did offer to replace it with a different fan, but it would be at our cost. This seems odd since we'd already paid for a new fan once. We decided to cut our losses and find a new contractor. UPDATE 6/29/16: Approx 9 months after completion, the taped drywall has split at the ceiling/wall seam and the grout is cracking in several areas of the shower. Nail pops in a couple places. The room makes a cracking noise when the sink faucet is running. I will be filing a complaint to the Bbetter Business Bureau. Mike Sohre, CCR Services, created a new master suite in our 600 sq foot attic (bed & bath). He's been wonderful to work with and his crew is great. Good attention to detail, they take pride in their work and they finished a month ahead of schedule, which is pretty awesome. We interviewed a handful of contractors and liked him the best and we're so happy we chose him. Before we hired him we also spoke with a handful of his previous customers, who all had wonderful things to say. He stands behind the work and is more of a perfectionist than we are, which goes to show that he cares about a quality end result. He made great recommendations to help us stay within budget and ensure we can get the most value out of the new space. My husband and I are really happy we chose them.

Excellent workmanship. Greatly Satisfied with the work done. Special thanks to Todd for his excellent work and respect he had. They finished the work ahead of schedule. Would surely recommend them for any work. Planning to hire them again for additional work to be done.
