PAFFY'S PEST CONTROL

We brought bed bugs home from a hotel. What a nightmare. Paffy (Duane) was incredibly understanding and very responsive. His was the only company we contacted (we called many rated highly on Angie's List) that was willing to come assess the day after we called and to begin pest management a few days later. Most notable is that he did not try to convince us to do heat treatment, which we have come to learn would likely have been ineffective in our old home, in which crevices are deep and many. If we had taken the advice of the providers that wanted to do heat, it would have cost us thousands of dollars and probably would not have gotten rid of the bed bugs. Paffy sprayed the whole house, inside box springs, in all of our dressers, in chairs, sofas, etc. This required us to remove all clothing from the dressers (one needs to dry them on high heat to kill any bugs)--he coordinated well with us. Repeated spraying was required, as expected, and he was always timely and very very responsive. Paffy is the owner of the company. His sons also work with him. We found him to be more thorough than the sons. We also found that it was best to be present to help Paffy get into the hard to spray places. I am not sure I would have felt entirely sure that he would have done such a great job if I had not been present, assisting him by turning beds over, etc. But this was more than compensated for by his exceptional responsiveness and the care that he showed our family when we were freaking out about bed bugs.

The job was professional, and quick. Paffy's staff called me immediately after my purchase to set up an appointment. I was not home but called back a week later and was able to schedule an appointment within 1-2 days. The staff member who completed the work was friendly, informative, professional, and respectful. I will not hesitate to use Paffy's again and am happy to recommend their services to friends.

I bought this special deal for my son. He set up the appointment. They came as promised. Sprayed externally to attack a carpenter any infestation. He has not seen a carpenter since they came. He is very pleased.

They show up on time. They are very professional. I would recommend them to others. They got rid of the ant problem inside our home and also got rid of spiders. It has made a huge difference.

The ants came back a couple of weeks later so I called them up and they came back and sprayed again but this time with a stronger insecticide which worked much better than the first one.

This was a great experience. I called on Saturday and set up the appointment for Tuesday. I was given a two hour window when they would arrive. They showed up and it was a quick and easy process. Duane actually noticed two additional nests that needed to be taken care of and he went ahead and did that.

Duane Paffel took plenty of time to talk with me on the phone after I bought the Angie's List Big Deal. I was concerned that I might be seeing signs of carpenter ants in the house -- and he agreed to provide that treatment in place of the generic treatment described in the Big Deal. We negotiated a time when I could be home and he told me the tech would arrive sometime between 2 and 4 p.m. I left work early to get home in time (actually, 5 minutes early) then waited the rest of the afternoon. When I called to check about what was happening, it turned out the tech had come early, applied the treatment, and left before I even got home at the appointed time! I had gone to the trouble of leaving work so I could have the tech look at the damage I'd seen in the house and determine whether I actually had carpenter ants before applying the treatment. A few days later, I did see a number of dead ants on my bathroom floor, so I'm guessing/hoping that what was applied took care of my problem. For the price I paid for the Big Deal, I guess I'm satisfied -- but at the prices they would charge going forward I would expect someone to 1) check out the problem first and 2) not complicate my work day and waste my time by not adhering to the mutually agreed upon schedule.

Called Paffy's about carpenter ants in our garage header. They took care of the problem quickly and efficiently, along with spraying the entire perimeter of the house for other potential critters. Totally pleased and will recommend to anyone.

The first spray did not work 100% (I had a really bad bug problem), so they came back out and sprayed again, free of charge. The only thing I would have to say is that they are a little slow on responding to voicemail. I left a few voicemails and I would either have to call back or they would return my call 2 days later. Also, for the second spray, somehow there was a miscommunication and no one showed up to the house (person on phone did not remember me calling). Dispite of this, they came the next day to spray. Overall, I would reccomend them based on that they stand behind their work.

Paffy's was very responsive, I contacted them twice and both times they were very professional. Price was good, not the cheapest but worth it.

Mike was prompt, courteous and professional. We haven't seen a single ant in the house since the spraying was done. We're very satisfied and won't hesitate to call on this company again.

Treated the known ant colony and also sprayed around the entire house, garage and shed in the back yard. The ants are gone and I am very pleased.

Justin was courteous and prompt. We were told it could take a few weeks to fully eliminate the colony as they carried the poison to the nest and queen. We initially saw a lot of ant carcasses, then fewer. The patio area is ant free which is quite a change from past summers. Prior to their arrival I had been working outside and pulling tools in and out of my pockets. Loose bills fell out when I pulled out the tool. Justin found them outside when he was spraying and returned them to me, stating that he found the money and knew it wasn't his. This is very honest and appreciated. I will use Paffy's againt if I have any pest control needs.

I haven't seen one spider in the house since they were here. I'm looking forward to the July treatment for box elder bugs. We haven't had any ants in the house this summer, either. I'm very happy with the service so far.

They are always prompt and courteous. They have done what exactly what we wanted them to do. Since my mother lives in a condo they can not fully fix the job because the neighbors in the condo next to her wont agree to use them. They did all they can do.

They are timely, friendly and answer all of your questions. They were good to work with and the treatment was successful.

Paffy's came in right away and took care of the problem within an hour and we haven't seen one since. He have us a 3 month warranty and the angie's list discount. We will definitely call him next year.

Came out on a Sunday within 2 hours of being called. Explained what he was doing and what to expect. Great experience.

Two gentlemen arrived the day after I called for service. They quickly identified the problem of carpenter ants in the house and were done with treatment in less than 1/2 an hour. I signed up for a reminder for next spring to treat again. Overall a good experience.
