Contacted Peterson multiple times starting in Fall 2013 and through 2014 for servicing and repairs on my above ground pool and for a new liner.  I contacted them and continued to try to work with them because they had serviced this pool when the property I'd recently bought was owned by the previous owner.  Plus, I'm a business owner too and I believe in cutting other business owners some slack as things do happen sometimes with work orders, staff, etc. I don't lightly write this kind of review. But I have to say after more than a year of trying that Peterson has had terrible responsiveness. After multiple contacts to them through Angie's List starting in 2013 and through last year, I rarely got any response at all, and when I did, I  was promised that someone would contact me but each time no one ever did.  They were to schedule a time to come out to examine the pool, and again, they never did. More emails to them, more phone calls followed, no responses came, and no service.  I was told by them  I could buy my liner in the Fall for installation the next Spring and I was told I'd also be contacted about that too.  No call again.  I contacted them again last week, though Angie's List, and got the same kind of "no response".  That will be the last time.  I give up.

The latest story with Peterson concerns our automatic pool cover which was installed a few years ago.  For some reason due to weather or the ground moving in some way our cover box shifted and in the process our cover was ripped. 
After calling them and after a a couple of trips out to look at things they fixed the box, repaired the cover and got us back to normal in a very short time.
While things like this should probably not happen ....they did.  What is most important to note is that Peterson stood behind their work, fixed the problem and all the time treated us with the utmost respect.
Our other dealings with them with repairs and maintaining our swimming pool through the years have gone the same way.
We will be putting in a new liner next spring and there is only one place I will look at having it done.

Peterson pool is a great company to deal with. There prices are very reasonable. I have been using this company for six year. The crew is very professional and friendly about there work.  I would recommend this company to anyone.

Their service is quick. They are pretty friendly and knowledgeable. I like them because of their location. They are in proximity to my house. They run specials for chemicals and different things. They do a good job. I would definitely recommend them. I would absolutely continue to use them in the future.

It started very well. The sales person (Scott) was very responsive and accommodating. We ended up choosing to work with a different landscaper than they usually work with since we were more comfortable with our own guy. The coordination between our landscaper went very well and there were no issues. As we got into the summer, they were clearly managing multiple jobs and they started slipping. It would take me to call Scott to find out when they were coming next to keep going. Communication was not very proactive on their part. The problem really started at the end, while I was overseas on a business trip. When I got back I realized they had poured the concrete around the pool about 2 inches too low, preventing the automatic pool cover to fully retract under the pavers around the pool decking. Although this unique feature was clearly discussed during the design and pricing phase, it was portrayed as news to him. Together with our landscape designer, we tried offering several ideas (some very simple) on how to somewhat correct this, but they did not seems that interested in finding a creative solution to fix it. After repeated attempts, several calls and emails, I am still waiting on empty promises, missed deadlines, and unreturned calls. After spending over $100,000 on my backyard project, I now have to live with an eye sore and most importantly a safety issue because my kids can get their feet stuck in between the pool cover bar and the pool decking. If you are looking for a standard pool, they are your guys. If you are looking for something more unique that requires a little creativity look elsewhere. If you do hire them, make sure to negotiate a significant amount to be paid after your own final inspection and complete satisfaction. They insisted in full payment after they deliver the materials. In hindsight that was my mistake. After final payment, I just couldn't get them to complete the work to my satisfaction.

They respond right away. They were here within a few weeks, while the other companies were booked or didn't respond.

We have used their services before. They are very, very good and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone. It is a smaller business and seem to care more about their customers.

I was delayed scheduling my pool closing this year. I tried a couple of places before Peterson, and was told that I'd have to wait anywhere from 3-8 weeks for them to arrive. Not with Peterson Pools! They were able to be at my home within two days. I actually had them wait for another week to give me time to prep for closing (e.g. drain the water; put away the pool toys, floats, etc.). I was very happy with the service, everything was closed up as expected, my cover was installed, and we are eagerly waiting for the snow to come and melt so we can start swimming again!

THE END PRODUCT IS GOOD SO FAR BUT THE PROCESS HERE WAS NEARLY UNBEARABLE. THE TIMELINE CHANGED REGULARLY, IT WAS UNCLEAR WHO THE PROJECT MANAGER WAS OR IF THERE WAS A PROJECT MANAGER. I FELT THAT WE HAD TO DIRECT THE WORK. I HAVE NEVER INSTALLED A POOL BEFORE, THEY HAVE INSTALLED MANY, I WOULD HOPE THAT THEIR EXPERIENCE WOULD TRANSLATE INTO A SMOOTH INSTALLATION PROCESS, BUT IT DID NOT!! SOME OF THE SUB-CONTRACTORS THEY USED WERE GREAT. WE HAD TO CALL REPEATEDLY ABOUT CERTAIN CONCERNS AND WERE TREATED FAIRLY RUDELY AT TIMES BY THE FOLKS ANSWERING THE PHONES. I HAD TO BE VERY ASSERTIVE ABOUT MY NEED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR AT ONE POINT DUE TO SIGNIFICANT CONCERNS ABOUT THE WORK PROCESS. THEY BLAMED US FOR DELAYS IN DECISION MAKING WHICH WERE NOT OF OUR CREATION. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

VERY RESPONSIVE; DID NOT TRY TO OVERSELL ME ON THE PHONE, SHOWED UP AS PROMISED-WORK COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY, INVOICE WAS HIGHER THAN PHONE QUOTE, BUT WHEN I CHALLENGED IT THEY MADE THE ADJUSTMENT IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT QUESTION.

SERVICE PROVIDED WAS GOOD, EASY TO SCHEDULE, THEY SHOWED UP ON THE DAY AND ON TIME. THE PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE, ACTUALLY LESS THAN SOME OTHER ESTIMATES. THE SERVICE TEAM CAUGHT AN ADDITIONAL REPAIR, WHICH WAS APPRECIATED. AT A PRIOR TIME WE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE W/THE COMPANY BUT THIS LAST EXPERIENCE WILL PROMPT US TO USE THEM AGAIN.

THEY ARE EXCELLENT AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
