I made an appointment with Lori to come to my home to provide an estimate. She arrived on time and spent about 45 minutes going over the work and told me she would have an estimate ready in a couple of days. I didn't hear from her for a week and a half, even after sending e-mails and leaving voicemails requesting an update. I finally heard back from her about a week and a half later and she said that she didn't finish my estimate before leaving town on vacation, but that she would provide me the estimate in 2 to 3 more days. I never heard from her again. My recommendation is not to waste your time with this unresponsive company.

I love Wonderwoman Construction! They are very professional but also extremely pleasant and flexible. Lori, the head of the company, came over at the beginning and gave me a set of estimates for the various jobs I was contemplating. Sue, the construction manager, came over to scope out the work in advance, on the day of the work, and afterward (and brought me a great Wonderwoman t-shirt, which I will wear with pride). The people who did the job were fabulous, too!--Josina and a young man whose name I forget (but who was really pleasant and conscientious). I give all of them an A-plus.

Great, overall

Very easy to work with. Lori communicates through email very easily and made the whole process so simple for me to navigate through. She was super flexible with my schedule, told me exactly what they'd be doing, she came the morning that the work was being done. She introduced the worker to me, walked him through the project and then left assuring me the work would be done nicely and to contact her with any problems. We didn't have any problems, the work was awesome and I'm so pleased.

They are excellent. We would use them again.

They gave an initial estimate, but let us know that in the course of completing the kind of work we needed, occasionally they discovered more rotted wood than was visible during a walk-around. And they did discover some additional work that needed to be done. However at all times, I felt that the additional work they were proposing was needed to protect the integrity of our house. The increase over the initial bid seemed appropriate to the labor and materials involved in the additional work. The work started promptly after we gave them our deposit. Weather delayed completion, but all the work was done before winter hit. Their staff seemed polite and competent. We felt as if we'd done what needed to be done to protect our house. The free T-shirt that they gave my wife was incredibly ugly. But the expertly accomplished work they did on our house was just what was needed. We would definitely hire them again for additional work on our house.

The estimate was worth $1300. I had to wait for the estimate and by the time I got the estimate, it was late. I ended up not using them because I didn’t get the estimate on time. I will not use them again in the future.

Went very well. A few snags but they were worked out without a problem

Lori was confidence-inspiring from the first meeting. She described how the job would go, answered my questions clearly and patiently, and the project moved along exactly as she described it would. Her team comprised people who worked well and were pleasant to have around. When the inevitable unforeseen changes arose, Lori was efficient and prompt at providing solutions.

Work went well, they did an excellent job. Our only complaint is the delays, it took longer than expected.

Very well, we are very pleased with the final work. They have good design ideas, and good execution.

It went perfectly. Lori's crew is absolutely wonderful and very talented. I felt well-taken care of, kept informed. Every day they left the house neat. They did everything they said they would, ON TIME, including taking our puppy out of his kennel and playing with him so he wouldn't be lonely. I trust Wonder Woman Construction completely and would recommend them to anyone.

They were good to work with. They were friendly, creative and innovative. They work well to solve problems. The advised the contractor to work on better time estimates. The job started in March. It was originally scheduled to end in early May, but it ended in early July. The costs were higher than estimated by about 15%, not surprising, and not too bad. We are satisfied with the quality and price of the work, and pleased with the final results.

THE RETAILER HIRED AN INDEPENDENT INSPECTOR TO SEE IF THERE WAS A MANUFACTURING PROBLEM OR AN INSTALLATION PROBLEM. THE INDEPENDENT INSPECTOR WROTE A REPORT WHICH THE CONTRACTOR AND I RECEIVED. THE REPORT STATES THE QUALITY OF THE BAMBOO WAS NOT THE PROBLEM BUT THAT THE DAMAGE WAS LIKELY DUE TO PROBLEMS WITH INSTALLATION OR MOVEMENT OF THE APPLIANCES OVER THE BAMBOO. HE ALSO REPORTED ON DAMAGED SPOTS THAT HAD BEEN SANDED AND REFINISHED. I HAVE CALLED AND WRITTEN WONDERWOMAN AND TOLD HER I WOULD GET 3 BIDS TO SEE IF THE FLOOR CAN BE REPAIRED. I HAVE THE 3 BIDS AND CHOOSE THE ONE I FELT HAD THE MOST EXPERIENCE WITH BAMBOO. EACH FLOORING CONTRACTOR SAID THE FLOOR CANNOT BE REPAIRED AND WILL HAVE TO BE TAKEN OUT TO INSTALL NEW BAMBOO FLOORING. I LET WONDERWOMEN KNOW THE COST FOR TEARING OUT AND REINSTALLING NEW BAMBOO. THE OWNER OF WONDERWOMAN CALLED ME AFTER RECEIVING MY LETTER AND TOLD ME SHE DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY. THE COMPANY IS LICENSED AND INSURED.
