As we are having an irrigation system and new sod put in, we wanted to be sure we kept all the work on our property. I called Woody Monday morning. He gave me a price range over the phone and said he'd be out in the afternoon the same day. He actually arrived right at noon. He and his partner (possibly his son) spent 3.5 hours locating the original lot corner markers. Woody explained the effort to do so is worth it as if there is ever a dispute and the original markers are found later, whose markers are correct? It took him longer to locate the fourth marker as it was over 12" into what we thought was a neighbor's yard.

I was told per city of St. Paul that "before a fence is put up at your residence, you need a licensed surveyor to come out and mark your property lines for the fence people to make sure you are staying in your boundaries". I called around to several surveying companies-all who stated very outlandish prices for doing this job. This company was the only company that stated some sort of price lower than $500-their exact words for a price were "anywhere between $300 and $500". I had them just come and do it because I was not finding luck anywhere else and the fence company was coming that week. The lines were marked and then I received an invoice in the mail a week later for $516.25. Since this is a high amount of money and the fact that they don't have their phone number on their invoice, I mailed back my credit card information. I received a call from the company, stating that they only take cash or checks-no credit cards. This was never told to me before the work was done.
