Description of Work: We dont live near them, we only used them once. They completed an inspection on a vehicle we were considering purchasing from a nearby dealership. We had traveled several hours from out of town. They gave us a very thorough review and we decided not to purchase the car, it was a total lemon & seriously misrepresented by the dealership. The manager was very nice and we were very impressed with the business. Their front office had kids & women in mind with their magazines and internet access.

They didn?t find a problem with the first tier of tests so they did the second tier as well. I wanted all of the readouts of the engine diagnostic and I wanted a list of problems with the engine and the codes. He called me up and told me there was low compression in the number four cylinder and that sounded about right. He was really pushing me to put a replacement motor in because it might be the best deal but the price he came back with was about $2,000 more than another garage that I checked with. As soon as I said I wouldn?t replace the motor, he was done with me and was actually fairly rude. I wouldn?t go back to him because I don?t know if he did anything at all. Any mechanic would do a simple compression test and it should take 15 minutes. I think he was taking advantage of us. He figured out what the problem was but it shouldn?t have taken $300 worth of tests. He charged me an environmental fee and padded the bill. I would not recommend that anyone goes there.

As always, Victory did a great job at a fair price. They could have told me the car needed a brake job, I wouldn't have been the wiser, but they did not. The stereotypical sleazy mechanic doesn't hold true at Victory.
Description of Work: Performed oil change and maintenance check on Subaru Forester. Also checked the condition of the brakes, as I had asked them to do.
