We could not get anyone to come here and fix our garage door but he came out and he was really great. He did a tough job for us. He was on time and he completed the work by the amount of time he said he would. He was very neat at work. He cleaned up after himself. He was very efficient.

When I called to have a broken garage door fixed, Mark came out the same day early evening and repaired the door so I could park the car in the garage. This seemed the appropriate time to replace the current uninsulated garage doors. Mark was very informative not only about the repair needed on the broken door but also the replacement door options and cost. He was very professional and pleasant. After selecting the color the doors were replaced within a week of my original call. The new doors are fabulous in appearance and the quiet operation is very nice.

Mark was a pleasure to work with! When I called for an estimate, he was very up front about what he thought I needed (and didn't need!) done--I didn't feel like I was being upsold or anything, which I really appreciated after having made a couple of other calls for estimates to companies that did seem to be trying to talk me into getting more than I really needed. The installation itself went great, and I'm super happy--not only with our new garage door, but with the service we received and the price we paid, too!

Called on coldest day of the year about 3 PM. He was very busy as you would expect, but said if I didn't mind he could come the same day, but in the early evening. He arrived when he said, fixed the broken cable in about 1.5 hours for less than original estimate. Very congenial and laughed a lot about the cold weather.

We called him on December 8th and he was out to repair the opener on December 10th. We were very satisfied with his work and also happy that he wanted to repair instead of replace the opener.

Garage door wasn't moving. Called Northeast Garage. He has been our go-to guy on our garage door since we moved here in 1994. I described what was happening and he knew right away without looking at the door what was wrong. He was there within 24 hours. His charge was exactly what he told us it would be. He is fabulous. I would recommend him to anyone.

Garage door would occasionally stop about 1/4 of the way up and made a loud rattling sound. Doors/openers were 11 years old and had never been serviced. I called N.E. Garage Door on a Monday night and work was completed by the time I came home Tuesday night. I was not required to be home; I just supplied door opener codes. I was having trouble only with one door but the person on the phone said he would check both doors. Invoice was left behind the door closing button so that I could mail payment. The bent track was perfectly straight and the door closed easily and quietly.

Everything went fine. Nothing more to say.

I called to schedule a repair on my garage door. After explaining the problem he told me what he thought the problem was, quoted a price and told me he would call me back when he had time to come over. Two weeks later I had not heard back and went with another company. He was correct in his assessment of the problem and his price was the same as the company that did the work. Too bad he didn't call me back. Even if it was to say that he is very busy and can't get me scheduled at the moment.

Work went well. Very satisfied. Took Mark a few days to get to us, but he was busy and we weren't in a hurry.

Great. I called Mark on President's Day (once I saw the spring was broken) and he called back within 10 minutes, and came the very next day and fixed it; neither my wife nor I needed to come home from work, which made it extremely convenient. We are very satisfied, especially with how quickly Mark responded and took care of this problem for us.

It went very well and we knew ahead of time that this would be a difficult job since we have a low ceiling, tuck under garage.

On Monday, 1 of the 2 cables on my double stall garage door snapped. This caused the 8 foot high door to come off both side rails and hang by just the middle chain! I was concerned that the large steel garage door would fall on my truck which was still parked in the garage. I called two of the larger companies around town and they both told me that they could not come out until Wednesday! Even though they both advertise "24 hour emergency repair" on their websites. I then called NE Garage and Mark was able to come out Monday night. He was able to carefully get the door back onto both side rails. It was a very cold night and it took 3 hours but he got the job done and did all the needed maintenance as well. I was very pleased that he was able to come out the same day and repair the very large and heavy door with out further damage. Mark did a great job, was very thorough and took the time to explain maintenance steps that I can do myself. I will be calling him with future repair needs!

Mark quoted me $319. He took the old system from its mounting and placed in the new one. The two springs were not exercising equal force, so he balanced them and added an extra part to hold one of the two springs in better. He greased the tracks as well. Mark was friendly, knowledgeable and cleaned up all the old material.

Called the company owner, Mark McConville, the morning my garage door wouldn't open in response to the operation buttons. Luckily make contact immediately. Learned later that his business phone number is also his cell phone number. Told him what was needed (the broken spring was easy to identify). Mark said he could come in that afternoon to make the repair. He then said that if I needed to get my car out earlier than that, he would drive over and get the door open before returning to earlier promised jobs. It is a heavy double door that I could not handle alone, but I was able to wait. Once started, Mark finished the job in short order. He noted some minor problems with the drive chain, loose bolts, etc. and fixed them all. In a word, he wasn't satisfied until the door operated smoothly. You could tell that Mark's years of experience have paid off in his ability to do excellent work. And in this case, to pinpoint and fix trouble spots that a repairman of lesser skills might miss.

Called Mark on Monday, met with him Monday night. Got estimate (which was final cost). Old door opener removed and new opener installed on Wednesday (I did not need to be home). Everything went smoothly. He said to be sure to call if there were any questions or problems.

On one of the coldest mornings this year our very old garage door opener failed to work. We called them and left a message but we inadvertently left a phone number we could not be reached at that day - oops! He has done work for us before and knows that my husband uses a uses a wheelchair and would be in a quandry if he couldn't park his van in the garage. Unable to reach us, he just showed up that evening and insisted on staying and replacing the opener that night. He installed the opener and returned a few days later to finish the details and final check. He wouldn't let us pay him until the work was fully complete. We told him we were considering replacing the garage door fairly soon. He explained the two conditions that mean it's time to replace; neither of which we are experiencing. I really appreciate that level of honesty. We would highly recommend Northeast Garage Door Repair.

They were very responsive, but they came late to do the repair. They cleaned the area well when they were finished doing the work. They were pleasant to work with.

POSITIVE EXPERIENCE: OUR CALL FOR AN ESTIMATED WAS PROMPTLY RETURNED. THEY SHOWED UP FOR REPAIR 1 1/2 HOURS LATER THAN ESTIMATED, BUT WORK WAS DONE TO OUR EXPECTATION. GOOD GUY, REASONABLE RATES, AND WE WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN. ALSO RECEIVED TWO RECOMMENDATIONS FROM CO-WORKERS ABOUT THIS COMPANY AND BOTH HAD POSITIVE EXPERIENCES.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. THEY ARE FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT, AND THEY HAVE DONE SOME OF THE BEST WORK I HAVE EVER HAD DONE AT MY HOME.
