Description of Work: Minneapolis Lock and Key put up with my rescheduling a few days in advance to better work with my busy schedule. Thank you for that! The locksmith noticed the current cylinder I had was recalled. He had the items that he would need on his truck, so everything could be taken care of during his visit even though that wasn't the anticipated reason for the visit. I would use them again for sure.

Description of Work: I had a security wrap and strike plates installed on my back door to help prevent someone from kicking my back door when I am out. The police recommended this to my neighbor after a breakin with a kicked in door. They also replaced the doorknob lock on my garage service door. They were on time and did a very good job. Would definitely use them again.

+ -1 moreminneapolis Lock and Key was great not only to fix the problem totally, but to be able to schedule a time the next day. The person who came out was late by about 1/2 hour, he did call me to let me know after he was already about 15 minutes late. It all in all was a great wait because I was able to get this door fixed in just 15 minutes. All it needed was a little lubricant, and it has been working like new since he left. It would have been nice if they could have charged a little less being I let him know the amount the first company, and what they charged, and left me with same problem I started with. I would recommend them.
Description of Work: Needed a security entrance door lock fixed. It was very hard to unlock the door. Got to where once you got the key into lock to turn, and open it you couldn't get the key out again. Paid another locksmith a few weeks before $100.00, and they left the lock better for about 2 unlocks then it was worse than the first time. Was unable to reach them again to even have someone come out.

+ -1 moreTHE WORK WAS SCHEDULED AND COMPLETED IN AN EFFICIENT MANNER. IT LOOKS VERY GOOD AND WORKS WELL. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT THE ACTUAL INSTALLER ARRIVED ABOUT A HALF HOUR LATE, WITHOUT A CALL, EXPLANATION OR APOLOGY.

THEY SCHEDULED FOR THE NEXT DAY. THE PLUGS FOR THE OLD HOLES WERE MATCHED WELL TO THE ORIGINAL WOOD AND SANDED NICELY. ALL THAT IS LEFT IF FOR US TO STAIN THE PLUGS AND VARNISH. TOP NOTCH.
