They showed up 2 hours and 10 minutes late from the original time I was told. I was called the day before, and told they *might* run a little late and they said it could be up to 1.5 hours late, but they expected to be close to on time but wanted to warn me it was possible. I actually texted a friend about what was happening and debated sending them away and rebooking other movers within 10 minutes of them being at my house. I absolutely should have trusted my gut. When they arrived at 11:10am for my 9:00am move, they didn't seem to have the first clue about moving, and were not wrapping my furniture. I asked about this when they moved my nightstand and some items were falling out of the drawers. He told me they would wrap it on the truck. Well, when my belongings are falling out everywhere along the way, precious little good that will do. I had called in advance to make sure it was ok to leave the drawers of the dressers full, and was told this was not a problem. Had I known they wouldn't bother to wrap it, I would certainly have emptied them. I had told them not to worry too much about the tile flooring, which was a mistake, because they took this to mean that they could trash my carpet, which was new 4 months ago. I stayed in the kitchen area to stay out of their way and didn't see the massive amount of damage that was being done to my carpet. It's basically destroyed and I doubt cleaning it will get the dirt and mud out. I have black boot prints throughout my house. Towards the end, the movers asked me for my own blankets as they didn't have any to wrap my things. Now, keep in mind, I used the same company to move into this house 4 months ago with my boyfriend, and we took ALL of his stuff, his 2 kids, and my stuff, and this time, all I was moving out was my own belongings that go into a 1100/sq foot condo. They started to ask me what I'd like to leave behind, because they didn't have enough room to take my things! Then they asked if I could take some of my furniture in MY CAR, which was already full of breakables I didn't trust them with. They had not stacked the boxes more than maybe 4' high and wasted all the space in the truck. Later they blamed me for not crating my belongings properly. There were a handful of boxes that had bulky things so the tops weren't closed, but those can easily be placed at the top, and that's what the movers did 4 months ago with no problems. They also tried to tell me they wouldn't move a laundry basket that had detergent and fabric softener in it because they don't move liquids. Nowhere did it say this, and I didn't have room in my car, so begrudgingly they put it in the cab of the truck. I had to tell them no less than 3 times where to put things, and even then they still put them in the wrong places. I called to complain on the way to the destination 1/2 way through the job and nobody called me back. After the job was done I called again several times before I finally got ahold of someone. Matt called me back and told me the movers had been given permission to trash the carpeting because it was a "break-up move". Well, since I OWN THE HOUSE I WAS MOVING FROM, I doubt I would want MY NEW CARPET trashed. In what world does this make any sense? Furthermore, even if someone told you to do something like that, as a business, is that a professional thing to do? No. Exercise some due diligence in not ruining someone else's property. Matt told me 11/16 that he would have the supervisor of the crew who moved me call on 11/17. I didn't hear a word from them, which isn't surprising, as they already told my boyfriend that they would NOT be cleaning the carpets. I had a 26' truck and 2 movers for $110/hr for 6 hours and somehow it cost $850. I'm not sure how that math works, but it doesn't matter. I've had to dispute the charge with my credit card company since they have not bothered to call me back, and at best I have to pay to clean my muddy carpets, and at worst, I may have to replace them. I have several pictures documenting what happened, and may have to take them to small claims court to repair my property. I couldn't be more disappointed and angry at the level of service, or lack thereof, I received during an already stressful move.

Adam and Patrick were right on time. I had already moved all but the heavy furniture. I figured it would take about 2 1/2 hours. Minimum charge of 2 hrs labor plus drive time from Concord Ave. They loaded truck delivered to my house. Loaded extra furniture from my house to my daughter townhouse. in 1 hr 15 min. Busted there butts. Even though I had to pay for 2 hrs labor. It was a great deal. Even tipped them for being so quick. I would certainly us them again.

The guys were great! Very caring and respectful. I recommend them to everyone I work with and friends and family. This was a hard move due to a recent death and the guys were respectful of that also.

I was very impressed with the movers sent to assist me in my business' location change. They showed up 15 minutes early; I always appreciate people and businesses who are respectful of my time and punctual. The movers took care with my office furniture and not a piece ended up scratched or broken. They were very efficient and actually finished 45 minutes earlier than I expected. If I were to have moved these items myself, it would have easily taken me double the time and effort, so this service was worth every penny spent. I would definitely recommend Matt's Moving and use them again in the future.

From start to finish this was a wonderful experience. They sent 5 guys to pack us up and move us. Each young man introduced himself and shook my hand. They were all friendly, yet professional. They packed up my 2 BR + den condo in less than 5 hours, taking great care with all of my personal and fragile possessions. They had the truck unloaded and furniture placed and put back together in less than 2 hours. Throughout the whole process they took great care with my crystal and antiques. I would not hesitate to hire this firm again, should I ever need to move again (that's not happening.).

arrived on time- but felt because they knew we had our own 2 trailers and plenty of help, they moved slowly. For having most of the heavy stuff for them to move and in garage already, they only made on truck load, and did not even get all the heavy stuff. Once we got the remaining heavy items to new house, they did help us carry in.

Matt's team of two men were excellent. They made quick work of everything. Everything was wrapped properly and nothing damaged. They also moved two flat screen TV's. I would highly recommend using them for you move. Hopefully I never have to move again but if I do, I will use Matt's.

This was an EXCEPTIONAL experience for us. It was a difficult and emotional time and they made it easy and fun. They jumped in and worked very hard and very quickly. They were very careful with all our belongings from laying a protective pad down on the carpet to wrapping the furniture pieces carefully. They were very friendly. We hired them to just do the furniture and we planned to do all the boxing and loading of the boxes into our own rented truck. They jumped in and helped us, even packing up those items in the basement storage that we hadn't boxed yet. And the cost still came below the estimate. I can't say enough positive things about Matt's Moving. We had researched multiple moving companies in both Wisconsin and Minnesota. We were not disappointed in the least. The guys were all great! They were fast, efficient and got everything into the house with no problems.

INCREDIBLE service. I had a 3500 square foot home, with pre-packing done ahead of time. They sent out 5 guys who had my house packed up in just under three hours (lots of heavy furniture!) They were careful, efficient and very friendly. I had a double closing that day, so the movers had to wait until closing was complete before they could move things into my new home. Of course, the closing was delayed, but they never complained once, and still were helpful and efficient regardless of the time frame. They even checked regularly to make sure all the boxes were put in the correct rooms. I could not have been more pleased! They also had wardrobe boxes on hand and took great care with all of my possessions. Excellent service! I would hire them again in a second!

They were prompt, worked very quickly and had fun while they worked. I would definitely recommend them!

Overall, really well. The moving crew was punctual and courteous. There was only one item that got dinged up a little, but it was a particle board desk, which is difficult not to damage. They were on the high end of their time estimate, hence the "B" on quality. The driver was very flexible on routing, which was great, because a major accident had blocked the highway we had planned to use. I would recommend Matt's Moving to friends but suggest that they keep an eye on the clock, especially for (extra) requested breaks.

One member of their crew showed up on time but the other guys were stuck in traffic. They promptly informed me that we would not be charged until the entire crew showed up - nevertheless, the guy got to work. Once the rest of the crew showed up they got to work and worked hard until the moment they were done. They were all friendly, professional, and took good care of our belongings. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

It went excellent! I couldn't say enough about how well they did the job. I think the thing that made it good is that they prepared us well for doing that because we haven't used any kind of service like that before. The guys that showed up were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about they could look at a room or a group of furniture and know exactly how it is going to fit quite well or not well. The whole trip went pretty quickly, and I feel like they wasted no time at all. I think their price was right in line. We actually had signed on with another company but these guys were able to meet the schedule we had and both of them were very comparable. They were competitive.

The company was very professional. The move was on time, the cost they promised was honored, the movers were very competent. There were no issues.

I called Matt's at 2:00 yesterday afternoon and they were able to send a team at 7:30 this morning! The team was professional and efficient. They moved a kitchen cabinet from Minneapolis to Plymouth and moved two pieces of furniture downstairs all within an hour. I appreciate that they worked in my small job when I tried 4 other companies that couldn't find a way to fit me in.

Matt's Moving LLC was recommended by friends on Facebook originally, but I had to post here because they were OUTSTANDING! The men were not only on time, but early. The 3 "B's" were the guys assigned to my move, and they were both professional and fun and made the whole experience actually kind of fun. Everything went smoothly and they handled my furniture with "kids gloves" and were really careful. The movers were helpful, offered to help put some of the bigger things together. The whole event, including a second stop location for furniture about took 4 hours, so very quickly done. Communication with main office through email was helpful and always received a response. I would highly recommend this company for those looking to move.

Matt's Movers is good...very good. They moved our apartment into a truck with a three person team and into a new 2-story home in under 3.5 hours. However, there were some strange, and somewhat dishonest tactics, happening. They took a small break between places that was about 35 to 40 minutes. The drive between locations was 15 minutes, tops. Then we got charged for this extended break. Also, my wife was upsold on the 3-person crew by the folks at Matt's on the premise that they had an afternoon job after our move that would require three people. They offered us a small discount on the three person crew, which was only 5%. Well, we did them the favor. However, when I mentioned the afternoon job to the movers they said "You are the only house we have today. We are done after this." Shady? I think so. All told, the job ended up costing us $700 before tip. They did not break anything, and so I tipped each guy $25...above industry rate from what I could determine online. Still, the exact same type of crosstown move in Chicago cost me only $350 before tip. Did I really get double the service or experience for my money? No. Matt's needs to do a better job being upfront with ALL of their costs.

I never thought about hiring a moving company but with small kids, some shoulder pain and the fact that my friends/family are now married, have kids, and are too busy to help, I decided to go for it. Contacted 4 companies for estimates. Matt's moving was the second lowest. 3 man crew arrived at the house promptly and they were friendly and each greeted me and introduced themselves. They immediately got started taking boxes and furniture out of my old house and on to their truck. They worked fast and carefully and had an entire 3 bedroom house with loft and basement full of stuff in their truck in two hours. They drove to my new house 5 minutes away and the freezing rain started. Since movers aren't allowed to take off their shoes, I was worried about them tracking dirt around the new house. However, they had one person move stuff from the truck to the house and then two people in the house with clean shoes to move the stuff around the house. Whenever someone did go outside and come back in, they were good at cleaning/drying shoes. They finished bringing everything in the house in about 2.5 hours and did a great job stacking all of the boxes and bins we wanted in storage. They covered tables and dressers with blankets to prevent scratches. They had to carry boxes and furniture up and down stairs and not once did I see them scratch any of the walls. If I do move again, I will be using Matt's Moving.

l have had Matt's move me twice, my uncle, my mother, and a friend of my brother's. All five times, I have been more than pleased with their professionalism, speediness, and punctuality. I have had previous move experiences where the movers speak no english, are sluggish and slow, and the bill was much higher than quoted. They are not the cheapest, but the extra bit of cost is worth happiness and peace of mind.

They were very helpful. Everything came through just fine. Nothing was damaged. They were friendly.
