We will never move alone again. After seeing how efficient and careful and cheerful the moving team was, we can't imagine moving without help. Much of our things were boxed already and the team was able to just move them onto the truck with the furniture and things. They were very careful to wrap furniture and move it without damaging the item or the house. The team did a great job of explaining the process and really amazed me with getting some big items into small places. Wonderful work from a company that seems to be very well run.

The service from the estimate to preparation to actual move was fantastic. The crew worked hard, was careful, and got as much on board as possible so that we would have only one trip and stay within the estimate. Nothing was damaged. Politeness and effort was so good that we tipped them well.

The movers were very professional and personable. They made the move go very smoothly, and made it much more enjoyable than it would have been otherwise. I was made aware of every piece of furniture that might encounter issues during the move, yet have not come across anything that was damaged. The free use of the boxes was a godsend and a definite benefit of using Local Motion. I would highly recommend their services to anyone!

Everyone at Local Motion was great. Adam told us when they would show up and how long it would take - his estimates were right on. The movers were easy to work with and moved FAST. I'll hire them again for my next move.

I was told our movers would be there between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. At 8:00 I received a phone call that they were on their way and promptly at 8:30 they were at our door. Hutch introduced himself and his partner, Carl. We went over the contract and then those guys went to work. And they didn't slow down for 7 hours! My husband and I (both 50) were exhausted watching them. Even though it was 10 degrees outside (with a windchill, of course) they were both pleasant and eager to please throughout the entire move. I was very pleased by their professionalism and hard work.

I had a very small job for them but I felt that my job was just as important to them as a big job. The movers were very nice gentlemen-efficient and courteous. Everything worked out well and I will use them again in the future if a need arises.

It went smoothly. The whole process of working with Local Motion was a good one. From the call back and reminder from the company to the movers. The movers were very much boys. They had smelly teenage feet and had to be asked several times to remove their snowy shoes on the new hardwood floors. Even so, they did good work. Worked hard and did not take breaks on the clock, and treated all the boxes with care.

Great service. You can sign up on-line & they call to follow-up. They sent an email confirmation about a week before. Provide free moving boxes. The crew was fantastic...friendly, professional and they did a great job. They took great care with items I was concerned about.

It went very well, and I would highly recommend them. They were efficient, nice to work with, and very careful with my furniture. I would rehire and/or recommend them to anyone who is moving their home.

Great. My phone consultation with Ryan let me know what the cost would be. The moving teams did a great job. I would use Local Motion again and will recommend them to friends.

They arrived on time, were courteous, well trained, worked diligently, packed belongings with new packing paper, labeled the boxes, moved boxes and furniture (wrapped in clean mover's blankets) into the truck, took a short lunch break then delivered the goods to the assisted living facility and unpacked them without breaking anything.

Contacted this company on the advice of friends who had used them. Response to our called was very professional and friendly. Gave us much advice on how to efficiently orchestrate the move. Provided boxes for move; as many as we wanted for free; but had to return empty boxes within a month of the move. Date set for move. Arrived exactly on time. Four young men on moving team. No messing around...went to work immediately. Half the time they actually ran from house to van and back. Very careful not to damage any items. Same with unloading items into new house which was located in same city. Took about 2/3 of the time estimated for the move, which lowered our final cost. Did an excellent job.

Local Motion did a great job! They estimated it would take a minimum of 3 hours with 3 guys, and had estimated 3.5 to 4 hours of work, and it came in well under time and budget, which is rare in my past experience with other moving companies. Bob & the guys were fantastic to work with. They arrived on-time, were friendly, asked questions & worked very quickly. They did a great job wrapping & protecting my furniture, & only made 1 small ding in 1 piece, which is pretty much unnoticeable and no problem at all. Thanks for a great move - I''d definitely use you guys again and recommend you to others!

The three individuals that came were courteous and worked hard. Asked questions when needed and made good decisions when I was not available. I truly feel I could have given them the keys to my apartment and house and left with absolutely no worries what so ever.

Bill and Ruben were great! They called before coming out, arrived promptly and got to work right away. The challenge in this move was getting everything out of the third floor using the only option available--steep stairs. They did yeoman's work--no complaining, no dropping of belongings, no scraping of walls. At the other end of the move the challenge was backing the truck down a long and narrow alley to get it as close as possible to the front door of the building. Once again, they were great. Patient and determined to make it work. And they did! I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat.

It was a great experience. Eddy and Ron came on time, worked hard, were friendly, and made good use of the time. They were very careful in handling everything and were very professional. We would definitely hire them again in the future.

Wow! These guys are TERRIFIC! I expected that my furniture would, with great effort, be moved, but I didn't expect it to be done so (seemingly) effortlessly and, on top of it, with ENTHUSIASM ??!! I had heavy, heavy things to be moved and, while I expected groans, these young men approached the situation with a remarkable "no problem!" attitude. Even the people in the front office were helpful by close communication throughout the process and a very helpful website. From my initial call until the job was done this was an efficient and more than professional experience.

Were on time, professional and did a great job. Had one nick on the wood of the sofa and one small nick on the coffee table. They paid for someone to come to my parents new home and repair the minor damage. You can't tell where the nicks were. Their pricing was straight forward.

Very professional, careful and punctual. No items were broken and of all the furniture, including a piano, none were damaged or scraped except for one small scrape on an entertainment center that went to the third floor (and barely fit up the stairs). It did take two hours longer than the estimate, but it was still a good value and worth the money.

Very reasonably priced. They provided boxes and wardrobe boxes. They did a fabulous job.

This is the second time that I have used Local Motion and both experiences were great. The estimate was very close to actual. The crew was on time and careful with my stuff. I had some very large pieces, lots of stairs and beautiful old wood work to be careful of. The crew worked very hard, took a couple of breaks and got the job done in good time.

Good. I called on short notice and they were able to help me. The three guys that came were very nice and worked well together.

Nothing was damaged and the service for storage was just as good as it was for moving. I got quite a deal on the price for storage as they were running a promotion.

They were very professional and came in as they quoted.

They were on time with a group of 4 guys. They were very nice, patient and we had no problems. They do advertise that they give free boxes but you had to travel far to get them. You had to return them and I did not use that option. But all in all I would use them again.
