Description of Work: I used Housecare Extraordinaire for about 8 years. They did a terrific job cleaning, were thorough, and were quite consistent. There were times when they were unexpectedly short-staffed on a cleaning day and had to call me to reschedule with no notice, but that is the nature of running a small business and totally understandable; moreover these occasions were infrequent. My only complaint was that I found them less responsive than I wanted when I needed to reschedule. I would provide 2-4 weeks notice and email and call and would often have to follow up multiple times.

+ -1 moreTheir attention to detail is remarkable, and their manner very responsive and professional. While their prices are a bit higher than some others, I'd strongly recommend them because of the excellence of their work.
Description of Work: We were having a big event at our home and needed it thoroughly cleaned, top to bottom. The job was very demanding, as this kind of deep cleaning hadn't been done in years. They were exceedingly thorough and conscientious, for example attending to, stove top grates that were blackened with stains. A kitchen floor not cleaned very well (we have dogs and our teenager does this job). A tub shower and tile area badly in need of attention to the tiles and grout. Wooden shutters and bookcases requiring time consuming attention. The kitchen and bathrooms shined in ways not seen since we moved in. In addition they moved the furniture and cleaned underneath and in back of, baseboards. All in all a very top notch, exacting job.
