It went very well. Chris is a great handyman, I think he also is a wood worker. He did many tasks around my home that we do not have the skill to do.

We've used him in the past, when he built a pet ramp for my dog. I was happy with him, so I used him again. I was happy with the work and the pricing and responsiveness. I would definitely use him in the future.

He showed up on time, was very neat, listened well to my needs, offered useful advice, worked diligently to get the jobs done.

Chris installed the storm door very swiftly and explained all details. He always replied to my emails and phone calls always very promptly. I purchased the storm door myself, but one of the parts in the package did not fit that specific door model. Chris contacted the manufacturer himself to arrange for the new part to be shipped immediately. Then he came back to my place on two different days to finish the installation without charging any extra fee. I would recommend Chris very highly for his professionalism.

It went great. Chris is busy but worked with me to find a time that worked for both of us. Due to some challenges in both of our schedules we split the day into two half days. Chris did a great job and was very hardworking. I can tell his specialty is interior woodworking (trim; hanging doors, etc). The trim he did looks really professional and great. If I did it, it would have taken a full day or two but Chris is fast and has good tools to work with. Overall, I thought the deal was a good value. It helped me get a lot of my to-do list done. And get it done well. I'd definitely hire Chris again (and have plans to).

He stated that he has not done this sort of project before but would like to take it on. I asked him for references. He did not provide any. Discussed what i would like to have done he said he would research it and get back with me. It's been five weeks and he has not contacted me.

The contractor was unable to perform in the time we needed, due to health issues.

He did some carpentry/handyman jobs.

The door jamb was in such bad shape I thought we may need to replace the door - it was a narrow strip because of sidelite next to the door frame. Chris did his miracle work cutting out broken pieces and fitting new wood in perfectly. Other work done was perfect - but the door jamb was something that really required an expert - so we're glad he took on this job! He kept me informed about his arrival time and his progress on the job. Absolutely outstanding. Highly recommended.

He was very punctual and attentive to detail.

I initially contacted the provider after I purchased the Big Deal. The provider did call me back and asked that I submit pictures of what needed to be fixed. I became ill and was unable to follow up with provider. He has never called to follow up with me.

I had a difficult schedule to be available for him. Finally I was able to make time to meet with Chris. He was on time. I bought the Angie's list special. He was able to take care of most of the tasks I had for him that day. He did quality work and cleaned up after himself. I would use him in the future. I would recommend him to others.

He didn’t want to do the work I was asking for at the price I had paid.

It went excellent. Chris was prompt and he was very diligent in his work for us. He was willing to work with us to make sure everything got done. I would definitely use him again.

It was fine. I had him do general handyman things: shaving down doors, replacing a doorbell, and patching some sheet rock. He got mixed up on the dates; he didn’t come when he was supposed to. When I contacted him, he acknowledged his mistake and we set another date. His work was good for what I asked but I'd feel more comfortable him doing handyman work rather than skilled carpentry.

Great, Chris worked hard and went above and beyond what was expected for the project. VERY happy for his effort and work. A+

We utilized the "Handyman for a Day" deal and had Chris install a new back door and storm door. He came right on time and did great work. He was incredibly thorough, professional and even tolerated my curious golden retriever :) We are having Chris come back and repair some exterior trim on our house as well.

Chris did everything from putting a bed together, building a door to a pantry, quarter rounds and face boards installation. He was timely, professional and worked the entire 6 hours.

I paid for a "contractor for a day" through the Angies list deals, and the work went OK. He was prompt. Unfortunately, a significant amount of time was spent getting the materials for the jobs. He did a pretty nice job with the indoor trim. Worked out OK as we ended up painting over it anyway. Outside, I had him fix a panel of fencing. Ended up looking different than other panels, and completely fell apart again this winter, so have had to completely redo the work myself this spring.

He is booked out until the middle of May and my project is very time sensitive so I have contacted Angie's List for a refund of the Big Deal purchase.

It went well, the cupboards look good, what was painted matches the original color well.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went well. He was good at communicating. It took us a while to get connected because we are both self employed. It took us a month to connect, but that was okay. He came and did what he said he was going to do. He charged $50 an hour which was pretty much in the ballpark. He called to tell me that he was running late but it worked out because I was running late too.

I didn't actually speak to him, we communicated via email, but the email was pleasant. I have been planning this project for quite some time, and was surprised that I didn't see he doesn't service my area in the fine print of the deal. I would consider using him in the future if he serviced my area.

It went well. Chris was very responsive and was able to come at times which were convenient for us. His price was good. He was an honest guy. We purchased the handyman for a day service, but the trim work plus the doors would have taken longer than a day, so in order to get it done in a day he had to work really fast. I gave him a B for quality because I haven't seen his work when he has adequate time to do it completely. He told us in the beginning that if we wanted him to get it done in a day, then he wouldn't have time to clean everything at the end. We told him that was fine. The work was well done, we just had to clean up at the end, which we expected.
