Prompt response to setting up a time for service, and John actually showed up early for the appointment, which was fine with me. He gave advice on maintaining the doorways as repair was not necessary at this time. Reinstalled handrail, provided advice on ease of altering, should we decide to do further work on that area of the basement.

The first time, I felt they did an excellent job. Cleaning the gutters didn't take the whole hour, so he found some additional things to do. I was very pleased with the work. He also recomended that some bricks be sealed and recomended a specific product. A different person came out to do the sealing. It didn't look quite as nice as I had thought based on the description, but the work was still done quite well and timely.

Great. Mark's a real character and will keep you entertained while he's working. BUT he charges by the hour, I think.

I planned to subscribe to DSL internet service, but wanted the telephone wiring changed so that I did not have to install any telephone line filters inside the house. This involved installing an exterior DSL splitter and changing the wiring of the interior jacks. Also, the wiring that went from the telephone company's Network Interface Box mounted on the outside of the house to the jacks mounted inside was damaged, so I wanted that replaced. I provided the exterior wiring and exterior DSL splitter. Mark Cady, the wiring technician, worked diligently the three hours he was here and the end result is working very well.

I felt that they were very organized. I spoke to the coordinator about scheduling the work and they were very thorough with letting me know when they would be here. They were great at following through with everything I wanted them to do.

It was an alright experience. It was a cold day and he was trying to get it done quickly. The stove was hooked up well.

The handyman showed up on time and completed the work professionally and cleaned up well after he was finished.

Called and Ben was sent within two days. Laura gave me the time, then called back to let me know he was running about 30 minutes behind, I appreciated that! Ben was professional and courteous, he repaired the fireplace and replaced disposal very quickly. Checked pipe, seemed very knowledgeable, said he could replace it but I didn't want to rip up floor. He told me if it were his home, he would not replace it as it is in good condition, but to keep an eye on it. I appreciated that as well, it didn't seem like he was trying to create work for himself and instead was honest and helpful.

Outstanding. Mark is incredibly courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable. Great communication too. Everything got completed thoroughly with minimum fuss, and I feel his work is of excellent quality. I'd hire him again in a minute!

He did a really nice job and it was very fast. He seemed nice, and he knew what he was doing. He showed up on time, and he was really close to the estimate.

They do arrive on time. Does quality work and knows what I want done. The price that I pay is reasonable for the work that he does. I would use him again if I had to. He does everything from plumbing and electrical work as well.

They never did any work because I didn't try to call them back, again.

Called them Friday afternoon, they scheduled an appointment for the following Monday afternoon. All went well.

They have done very good work all the way through. I have been very very pleased with their work. They were always on time and very professional. They are very easy to work with and they also answered all my questions and concerns and they were straight forward with my answers. They are a little pricey but considering the work they do it is well worth it. They are not condescending to women.

Our builder installed a shower that leaked. They came out a couple of times, recaulked, hemmed and hawed and it still leaked. A couple of other companies came out and did the same. Finally, Metro Home Maint. came out, made a call to someone else who came out shortly thereafter and, FIXED the problem. It cost more than I expected, but after about 5 other service calls, I am relieved and okay with the expense.

The reason they came to do it was because my shower was leaking. So they redid the entire thing, took out the shower, replumbed it. Two weeks later it was leaking again so they came out and redid it and totally did the bottom of the tub again. About a month later it was leaking again so they came back and caulked a bunch of the wall. Another month later it was leaking again. I will never use them again or let them in my house.

Great quality work, on time, did what he said he would and caring person who was easy to be around for the day. Hourly rate is high but the expertise level is amazing, and the overall estimate was lower than others when we did comparative estimates with 4 other companies. This is our second job with him. He did a formal estimate for the first job which was very detailed so we knew exactly what would happen for how much, and it all went exactly as planned. This job we did an informal estimate and he did exactly what he promised, in the time he said it would take.

I called Metro Home Maintenance in tears because another handyman company had just walked off the job, leaving my shower torn out. The woman I spoke with on the phone said that they could definitely fix my shower, and could do it this week. Someone came out the next day (Wednesday) to get information for an estimate and to look at the work that needed to be done. On Thursday morning, they came out with the surround, and installed it. On Friday morning, they came out to reinstall the rest of the shower, and finished up the caulking. Everyone I talked to was polite, kind and reassuring. And competent! Since my job was an emergency, they worked to fit it around other things that were going on that week, and to get my shower (the only one in the house!) back up and running as quickly as possible. They were great. They will be my first call the next time I have any work that needs to be done around my house.

I have mixed feelings on this one. Apparently a sub-contractor was called in to quote on one aspect of the job which was removing and replacing 1 bay window sill and 2 window sills on the east side of the home. It was anticipated that the bay window needed to be removed and replaced, and also that some external shutters might have to be removed and replaced upon completion of the job as well. This part of the $3400 quote involved a labor charge of $2300. As it turned out that work was not necessary. Two individuals were out for 2 hours. That was a labor charge of $1200/hour or $600/hour if you figure 4 man hours. When I called to complain about that excessive fee, Sam told me she'd have to check with the men. The next day she called and indicated that they had reduced their labor fees by $1,000. So, labor was reduced to about $332/hour for 4 man hours. I give the company an "A" for pricing on the other work that was done, and an "F" on this part for an overall price rating of a "C". Sam (female), the schedule coordinator, was always very professional (I talked to her a few times during the project including the disputed charges).

Sam, the woman who schedules appointments, was very knowledgeable and helpful in scheduling. She even called me back with an earlier appointment, if I wanted it, because of a cancellation. Ben, the "technician" arrived EARLY which was refreshing. The company had estimated 3 hours for the three jobs that I had but he finished in half that amount of time. The faucet handles needed only screws, which was a relief. He thought initially that the wall problem might be a lath coming loose but it turned out to be only paint that was peeling. He scraped and "mudded" that area for me to sand and paint later. I discovered after he left that when he put the toilet back after replacing the seal that the base was cracked. It was not in a spot where it would leak but it did mean that at some point the toilet would have to be replaced. I called the company immediately and left a message with the problem. When I was called back a few hours later, Sam said that they would come out that afternoon and replace my toilet with a comparable one--at no charge for the toilet or labor! Ben came back, measured and then bought a new toilet. However, because of the small size of my bathroom, the door would not be able to be closed if the toilet was installed. Ben called a plumbing supply place to see if they carried a smaller toilet; they did not. (He had bought the smallest one that the hardware store had.) So--we improvised by having him plane off a little of the door (which had been done previously) so that it could close. He also put a furring strip (I don't know if that is the right word) on the side of the door frame so that there would not be a large gap between the door and the frame. The toilet works fine. Ben was very cheerful when he came back and was efficient in getting the new toilet installed. I had anticipated having to argue with the company as it was my word against Ben's about the crack in the toilet base; I was more than pleasantly surprised when they offered to replace it THAT DAY. I would use this company again. They seem to stand by their service.

It was excellent, he was very professional, he was very prompt, he gave me an estimate, but he found more problems when he was working and we ended up doing more work.

It went very well. It looks like work that will last a long time.

They weren't very responsive. Three different people came out to do the work. A couple were good and one wasn't. The office wasn't good at communicating with some of their workers. Out of two of three jobs, the workmanship was excellent! I was a little disappointed with the roofing piece.

The first phase of the job was awful. The fence looked like a six year old had worked on it. We had to call the company again and have a supervisor come out to look at it. It seemed that some panels had rotted and the field technician made the decision that we did not want to spend money to replace the panels. So he cobbled the rotted panels and the new posts together. We did have to take another day of work off to be here when they replaced the rotted panels. The inexperienced technician should have asked us if we wanted to replace the panels and not assume that we did not. This report is a summation of both phases. We were happy to get customer resolution, but it shouldn't of happened in the first place.

We would recommend them to anyone. They were always punctual and very professional. They had very good work habits. They don't just do gutters, they will do carpentry work or anything you ask them.
