BLOOMINGTON RENTAL CENTER

Horrible experience.  Please see my review from June 2009 in regard to renting a Roc Vac.  Thankfully this company is out of business and no longer treating customer poorly.  The owners response to my review about not being able to treat customers poorly if one wants to stay in business is true.  Obviously Bloomington Rental didnt treat customers with respect and value them or it wouldnt have went out of business.  I hope this company is out of business permanently and never starts up again.  The owners and employees should never be allowed to deal with the public again.  I hope they move far away from the Twin Cities. 

I had an appointment with Uhaul and they called 3 hours to cancel.  I was able to order the moving from from Bloomington rental that same day.

Absolute horrible customer service. This place could care less about your business and doesnt value the customer at all. When you walk in the place forget about a hello or how may I help you. Your lucky if they even acknowledge you. They act like there doing you a favor just being open. Roc Vac ran okay, but nozzle was broke and I was told I had to use it the way it was with duct tape on end even though it wouldnt fit on attachment. When I brought issue to their attention, guy I spoke with became argumentive and accused me of taking duct tape off. Machine wasnt property cleaned out when I picked up and I needed to clean it after only a few hours of use. Returned machine in clean working condition and was charged a damage waiver fee even though no damage on machine. I was told this was a standard maintenance fee. I consider it a hidden charge and another way to get more money out of the customer unexpectedly. Wrote complaint letter to manager and never received a phone call or response back. I will never rent from this place again and will drive any where I need to for future rental needs to not ever have to deal with this place again.

These guys are GREAT!!! and I do not say that often. I recently moved from a house in Bloomington to a new house very close by in Bloomington and needed some equipment (truck, a trailer etc...) so I went there. Right after I moved we got hit with the really bad storms in the S Metro so I had to go back for more stuff (chainsaws, trailers, a log splitter). Anyway, I have to say that EVERY time I have gone there they have been incredibly nice, helpful and totally focused on meeting my needs. Even the morning after the storms we had brought down trees and power lines all over the area and BRC was pummeled with people needing equipment - they STILL were as kind and efficient as can be. I would like to say that even if you live 50 miles away, it is worth the trip and I mean that.
